kaz: perhaps i didn't say it properly. darkduck has legal authority over the lentation article that he created and which has gained some popularity. he has demanded that the article stop circulating.

he has no legal authority over the process contained within the article, and cannot take legal action against anyone practicing "lentation" or anything resembling such.

does that clear it up a bit?

nay: darkduck is a moderator (founder actually) of The Veritas Academy. He has written a number of articles over there, one of which was a document detailing one manner of tapping into a natural process which allows people to quicken their mental perception of the world such that it seems the world slows down for you. However, he now seems to regret having posted that since he says it could lead to health problems and even death. and no, nobody has died yet due to the process, unlike what chaosblade claimed (at least, there's been no evidence of any deaths caused by people practicing what the article said to do).

as i said in another thread in the energy body forum, any body who wishes to talk to DarkDuck about this, please goto the veritas academy and ask about lentation and tineko there (though, do a search for previous threads on lentation before you make any posts since DD has already had to deal with tons of people just asking the same thing over again and again and it's very frustrating for him). i don't know who this chaosblade is, but nobody has gotten themselves killed so obviously he's lying/hyping this up.

and seeing as how this is a matter for the veritas academy and not this website, PLEASE take your discussions of it over there. however, before you post over there, be sure to find past threads on lentation and read through those since dd REALLY doesn't like having to post the same thing again and again and again and again and again because you can't do a simple little search.

first off, i'd like to say that lentation is a word used by darkduck to describe the process of being able to percieve the world faster than normal. secondly, tineko is the art created *by darkduck* to use lentation for a martial art.

thirdly, what was your purpose in posting this here?

and lastly: yes, darkduck doesn't want the lentation article to be shared, and seeing as he's the author of it he has legal authority to make such a declaration and take action against anyone who does share it. (this warning is not to chaosblade, but to others. so don't spread it)

if you have shields up around your room, try reinforcing them. if you don't have shields up around your room, try putting some up. also try doing a cleansing of your room/house/general area.

i had a problem with that a couple of months ago. for years now i've gone without bad dreams and then all of a sudden three nights in a row i had bad dreams. the third night i figured something was up so i tried sensing in my room and felt some bad vibes as though something had just been there. the next night i woke up just as a dream was starting to go bad and i felt a spirit in my room, and it was trying to feel intimidating and i told it to go away before it gets hurt. it left. (i think i may have mentioned this event a while ago, but that could just be my memory playing tricks on me ^_^)

just a blog, not neccessarily related to anything, but which someone might get something out of:

three factors which help determine how much a person is affected by a non-physical phenomena. 1) sensitivity: how accute a person's own senses are towards metaphysical things; 2) metaphysical "toughness": a person could be hypersensitive but not easily affected by something. this would be because of their "thick skin"; 3) strength of phenomena: how much energy/force is behind the phenomena.

as an example, say joe (a non-practicioner of anything metaphysical) is very sensitive to metaphysical energies and easily feels a vein of negative energy which runs through his kitchen. since joe has "thick metaphysical skin" the negative energy doesn't affect him much, eventhough the vein of negative chi is fairly strong.

joe's brother frank, on the other hand, is very insensitive to the energy and enjoys cooking so he spends lots of times in the kitchen. unfortunately for frank, he isn't has a weak metaphysical toughness and the energy is constantly making frank nauseous or gives him headaches or is just constantly causing problems with his energy body in some way.

now, one day, for whatever reason, there is a surge in the strength of the vein of negative energy and frank becomes so frail that he has to goto the hospitcal for a couple of days. now, with the new strength of the vein even joe becomes sick and decides to get checked out too while he's at the hospital. a few days later though, after joe and frank get home, joe can barely feel the vein anymore because whatever caused the surge must have caused it to drop the amount of energy it was normally outputting afterwards so after that time frank no longer got sick and joe no longer had to avoid the kitchen and they both lived happily ever after. a good enough human attacker can attack you via even a small inkling of your essence.

of course, they'd need some way to find that essence and just going to a website isn't usually good enough (except MAYBE in the case of have a REALLY specialized tracker who is hunting a specific signature and who is using very specific techniques) because there is such a high volume of traffic on most websites that it's like looking for fingerprints on money ^_^ you *might* be able to pick up on the last person or two who "touched" the website, but even then there's still likely a lot of residual essence from other people who have also visited recently.

HOWEVER, if they find out your screen name or they talk to you in person, that's another story. to communicate with a person "directly" is a not-too-difficult way to pick up on their essence, even if it's via something as impersonal as forums. (to "put some of yourself into something" as it were, with regards to your "identity" on the net/web.)

however, before people go out fearmongering, it's not commonplace to be attacked psychicly over internet forums, ESPECIALLY if you are new to this stuff and you aren't going around bragging about yourself. if you are still afraid, keep yourself lowkey: don't tell any personal details, don't make fusses, just make your statement or ask your question and waste no space with irrelevancy.

imo though, fearmongering about psychic attacks is about as bad as going to a bar and thinking that everyone there is out to rape you, it's called paranoia []. sure maybe one or two sickos there might be wanting to rape someone, but there's lots of people out there and you are only one person (so again, don't attract attention to yourself) and there are defense techniques which you can learn fairly easily (and even if they are "weak" compared to what a fullfledged metaphysicist could pull off, they are not ineffective).

so in conclusion: yes it's possible to be psychicly attacked over the internet, but unless you are actively making yourself incredibly appetizing to an attacker you've probably got nothing to worry about []

was the "rival" a student of the school? typically when instructors do demonstrations on some students, the student will expect the "hit" and go with it, thereby increasing the supposed "effectiveness" of the technique. That's not to say that there was NO power behind the touch, but if it was deomnstrated on a student then it's possible the student overexaggerated it (with or without the teacher's consent/direction).

shedt: to display your power for the sake of inflating your own ego is considered to be the markings of a lesser fighter, but to demonstrate your power so that others may learn is not thought of in the same way []. so it's the intent behind the demonstration which determines whether the demonstration is viewed as "wrong" or not ^_^ (and for anyone wondering how others can judge the intent of an individual, it comes across in the individual's actions/words/etc)

To anyone reading this and thinking that you too can send your friends tumbling down a hallway with a "quick flick of the wrist" (or something like that) note the differences between the "dbz ki sites" and the guy who demonstrated for mistic-idan: the "dbz ki sites" are full of kids who have no self control, no self awareness, no great skill in the martial arts, no great skill in energy sensing, and no great skill in energy manipulation, whereas the demonstrator has likely been training for many years as opposed to the few weeks or few months of the kids on the "dbz ki sites".

although, it is interesting that the master used a full punch and that the "victim" moved back so far. did he specifically say that he was showing you fa jing, or just a generic punch with energy thrown into it, or something else? Admittedly, I've not studied IN DEPTH into it, but what I have found out about it is rather different from that kind of demonstration.

actually, it might be able to. since positive chi helps generate a healthy and body it is possible that a person might be able to use it to stimulate their body into growing more hair.

unfortunately, unless someone else has done it and can tell you how, you'll have to play around with it and find out for yourself cause i don't know how ^_^ (you could try sending positive chi to the top or your scalp and "persuading" it to try and start growing hair for you)

the point of fa jing is to create an "explosive" power with the simplest/lightest of touches (or even none at all), though the actual hit isn't supposed to move the person but is supposed to go right through them like a bullet would.

it is not a specific maneuver or attack, but it is a general method of attack. science tries to explain it away as being merely completely relaxed until the point of touch at which point you snap-tense your entire body in a solid impact upon the person.

however, the martial arts which teach it also teach you how to use your energy to further increase the power of the impact (or in the case of not touching the person, to solely use your energy to do it). and that is something which you probably can't learn very well over the internet so there's not much point in trying to explain anymore ^_^.
