haha... nice.

It reminds me of the question - if light is a 'thing' (photons) where does it go when the light is turned off at night?

My answer - the Refrigerator.

Seriously, where would they go? If the photon is an actual particle, then simple light energy and dissipation doesn't square the rationale of photon particles disappearing with my limited understanding.

Unless the photon is only activated by the energy but that still oversimplifies it.

Welcome to Astral Chat! / A funny story

I recently read a funny story that some guy said happened to him in boot camp back in the Korean War.  He said his Drill Sargent was the real deal hard butt.

This guy screwed up and the DS told him to do something fast as in double time. His reply was "Yes Sir, fast as light Sir."

The DS told him that wasn't fast enough so the guy asked him what could possibly be faster. The DS told him darkness was faster since every time the light comes around the darkness has to get the hell out of it's way.

In science there is no such thing as cold. There is only heat and the absence of heat. The same hold's true for light energy and the absence of light energy in whatever form it happens to be in.

Is it possible we are viewing this in the wrong light (a silly pun)?

I know I completely misunderstood their analogy but the way they described our inherent ability to not see space and time as it truly is sounds demeaning but so true.

The most I could imagine was a cube where all the sides represented a dimension. From Each corner, a line that also represented every dimension would cross to connect to another corner. What you have after doing this with every corner, is the inside of the cube filled with intersections which represents the "place" where all these dimensions meet to create our reality.

Each angle created by the intersection of the dimensions is a specific moment in time. This means that the past, present, and future would all exist at once since time is not exactly a dimension but an intersection of the dimensions.

As a surveyor, it blew my mind that they were stupefied at our inability to denote a significance with in the angles. But then again, there are no angles within any of our models of space and time.

Will makes an excellent point. We absolutely create our own beings but I believe many of them exist independent or ourselves. But I have never encountered a being that I considered evil or bad. Just negative much like here in the PMR.

The reason I don't view an OOBE as actually leaving my body is because I think we are always somehow connected continuously through our consciousness and for the lack of a better term, draw "it" in. I'm not sure if this applies to the String Theory or not.

I know a lot of people believe in the silver chord but I have not seen anything in my experiences to support this.

My old belief system as well as my fear of encountering some sort of demonic being should have all but guaranteed that I would see a "real" one or manifest one out of my own fear but yet I never did.

This may sound weird but I believe we see what we need to see as well as what we want to see. And some people just like to scare themselves more than I do.

Man...the potential of these letters to be true is astounding.

The part of evolution was the easiest to understand and had the most potential to be verified. The past about continental drift makes so much sense.

Fake or not, the author's must have been brilliant.

It's called the May Day Mystery. Here's a link.

http://www.maydaymystery.org/mayday/

It's way too cryptic for me. But I spent a few weeks checking it out here and there and got no where. It's no where near as old as I remembered.

Edit: I just looked up the Voynich manuscript and realized I had already seen a doc about that. These letters and that book are far more interesting then the May Day mystery though.

I know you're recently married but I can be shameless(more like jealous) at times. :-D

Seriously, beeeaaauuutifuuul voice and great lyrics as well. You have the amazing ability to sing some awkward phrases perfectly, much like bob dylan.

By awkward< I just mean hard to sing while in pitch and stay in tune.

Man...I love this stuff so much that I hate it.  Nothing like a great mystery and having to admit to myself that I ain't gots no clue how to unfigure dem out.

Great ego buster, and it reminds me of a mystery that has been running in some university's newspaper here in the states for forty years now. There is even a large reward to someone who can decipher the code.

Can I sing a song now please.

Sure. Clear your mind and center your focus. Then let her rip.

But be advised that I've been reading MBT all day and I have some ammo that is new to me but you've dodged in the past plenty already.

But I think I can still come across without sounding like a TOEbot. :-D

No one had been arguing against you. We are debating your theory. I'm not playing a game of semantics with you either.

But I think it's safe to say that you are less presenting a theory and more of telling us what your beliefs are. And you of all people know that a belief without hard facts is just pseudo-knowledge. Thanks for the link, by the way. I've been reading all day.

I am very interested in discussing your answers to Lion's query. He's only pointing out the questions that we have asked as they are relevant to your position and your non-answers are hard to ignore.

We're all guilty of injecting some emotion into our posts and Lion was only wise to cool the tone.

You really are trapped in a belief system if you think differently when I tell you that Lion is only saying to cool it down (he's talking to all of us) a little because he doesn't want to see anyone feel like they aren't welcomed.

Give us all that much credit.

Good job.

I have lost my wallet many times never to be seen from again. Maybe one day in the NPMR.

Just call me Bad, James Bad. But I'm really Simon. :-D :-D

Yes, of course. I am lazy and very fond of acronyms myself.

Honestly, I know their importance to my country and my own heritage but I can't defend them anymore.

I am giving my entire collection to my father and cousin. I am keeping my first rifle that was ever given to me-winchester .22 pump.

But I doubt it will ever know another bullet again.

Chops, If Pat Benatar had now already wrote this song, it would have still been written today by me after hearing you sing.

You're the right kind of dreamer, to release my inner fantasy
The invincible winner, and you know that you were born to be

[Chorus]
You're a heartbreaker
Dream maker, a love taker
Don't you mess around with me
You're a heartbreaker
Dream maker, a love taker
Don't you mess around, no no no

Your love has set my soul on fire, burnin' out of control
You taught me the ways of desire, now it's takin' its toll
You're the right kind of sinner, to release my inner fantasy
The invincible winner, and you know that you were born to be

It might work in that others may assume then that I am off my rocker and not to 'listen' to my 'ravings' but there is sanity in my insistence upon getting to the truth, and making absolutely sure that nothing untoward is going on, this world or that...and so far in either world, some things seem to be amiss, and when any voice comes along to quash through all methods from terror to subterfuge, distractions, derailing, censoring, - you know...all those things which attempt to prevent disclosure etc...well if I were just a loosh unit, I wouldn't even notice now would I - but I do.  That does not at all signify I am paranoid.

Paranoia is accompanied by a lot of obvious delusion - not sensible intelligent insightful reasoning which also has practical 'how to work around such possible manipulations'.

So no - you have not 'uncovered' a paranoid individual or nipped a potential problem in the bud. Any more than you have seriously looked into the possibility of the things I have mentioned in this and other threads.

I am not actually looking for 'answers'.  I am gathering data which shows me something many others don't even wish to contemplate, lest it interferes with their cozy rendition of 'what is' and the evidence is very compelling at that.  No - it is not answers I am looking for...but rather The Answer.

William, I do not believe you are paranoid. I believe that you are very goal oriented and are in hot pursuit of the ANSWER.

But, I ask you....If you are correct and we are all just slaves and everything is truly afoul, what can you possibly do about it?

You are actually in a disbelief trap. I did not think that was possible. It is not that we are all cozy and comfortable with our little NPR experiences it's just that...man if you only knew how crazy your suspicions sound. You have made me aware of the fact that I have never had any suspicions of my NPR experiences but that does not change anything about the truth.

You talk as if this is just data collecting but you have made your mind up.

I think once you face these entities and get over the fear you have of them, you'll find that they won't bother you. Then you'll get out further to explore.

I have seen some pretty grumpy dudes in the astral but not once did I consider them bad. In 12 years I have been scared plenty but never because of something I saw. It was always out of fear of what I thought I would see.

So in that respect, I have never seen anything because I expected to see it and I was afraid I was gonna run into the worst of the worst. I know it's highly unusual but I can manifest what I want to see but my fear doesn't feed off of itself. I would like to be able to create a dream scape that I can return to time and time again. But no luck thus far.

I suggest you face your entities down next time and see if that helps but most likely Beedeekin is right about the SP intruder.

Good luck.

Listening to binaural beats may be perfect for you in this case. I don't use them but I'm confident they work. Good luck and don't forget to party in the party room. I miss college. I don't miss being poor and sleeping in the same clothes. Well, the only reason I don't miss having to sleep in the same clothes is because I still do. lol :-D

I'm referring to his cultists fans only. I can't wait to get the book as it seems to really flesh out a lot of how I feel, only words escape me when I try to flesh it out. I even found a site where I can read ten pages a day for free but that's torture for me. I can read a book fairly quickly and the ten a day pace is insane.

His fanatical fan base only makes me want to read the book more.

Does Ted run their forum?

Sounds like they really do worship Cambell as a God if they aren't open to discussion on any of his theories.

A question.

Do you believe that all Con's in existence were created at the same time and have evolve according to the number of times they have experienced the different sims or do you think new Con's are created. Because in theory, a new con would be closer to the source and could have clearer untainted knowledge when in the NPR. The trick is to recognize them and to believe them if we did.

Some of the snippets can get longer showing many of the dream cliches like falling, nudity in public, that sort of thing before you enter a fantastic dream sequence. Since most people can identify with the cliches they will be more open to the message that even they can experience the more fantastic ones with awareness.

Show them a reality check in the last cliche snippet so they get that concept. Now I know what you're gonna say Beedeekin, but this could be a beautiful naked woman in the schoolroom that realizes after her initial horror of being nude in public, that this must be a dream. So she starts to act silly in her awareness of this fact and then things start getting hazing and distorted and now she's a little freaked out because she can't remember a dream ever happening like this.

Each desk by desk, and student by student is slowly replace with the scene of her next dream or her astral locale. She is leery but amazed at it's realness. Maybe a being can startle her awake and the story begins......

I know how everybody feels about using sex to sell this message to the public but you have to sell it to some investors first and they could give a hoot about the message so long as the story is great and has sex. Thems be the facts.

I don't know why I can't leave it be but I really want to see your point as you see it. Not to change my own mind necessarily.

I'm gonna give a synopsis of what I think your saying and you correct me.

Bare in mind that I have no idea of T. Campbell's theory other than some vague generalizations so I may be way off the mark.

I will use God in the masculine when referring to that which has no beginning because it is shorter and I am lazy. Consciousness in all it's forms will be Con or Cons
-----------------synopsis------------------------------
In the history of all histories, God is the only non simulation since He has no beginning and is the source of everything.

To accept this means all other Cons are existing within simulations. All Cons no matter where their physical selves hail from, can converge in the NPR. Since we exist at all times in a simulation, regardless of our form, we should naturally and cautiously be on guard against God's intentions behind our creation.

While in the NPR, Con's place themselves at the mercy of other Con's who either intentionally or unintentionally deceive the others. Of course, there may actually be no deception but conflicting data suggests otherwise and suggest strongly that something is askew.

Knowing this, one can prepare himself by not exposing himself to the NPR more than which can't be helped (dreams and such). But we must give credit to the data contributed from those who at their own peril, continue to do so.

We can maximize the time that we spend in the NPR without our intent by forgetting the experience when we return to the PMR. This knowledge, however, can be stored and retrieved upon our physical deaths.

Am I close?

I see an a video starting with an incredibly vivid OBE scenario, then a split scene of another, that scene then splits into 4 then 8, then 16 etc. Each individual box has a different OBE scene in it. All ones that could be realistic including the ET scenarios. The next scene then shows 1 person Dreaming, then another split, 8, 16, matching the intital ones OBE scenarios.

Now that you have caught their attention, you can back track with a video on how they got to that point.

In other words, show the rewards first. Then tell them how to get there afterwards.

You really want to get their curiosity going. Blow them away with your vivid scenarios.

That's what I would like to see.  :-)

I bow to your genius. Can you say Academy Award?

Szaxx- Very good. I get trapped sometimes thinking that what we experience in the NPR is "all that's left" even though I don't believe it is.

This explains why some entities no matter their actual intellect may be. still do not have all the answers as many readily admit.

So even if they were intentionally trying to deceive us, they are just deceiving themselves. Not that that reflects my personal experiences

Wi11iam even acknowledged this point about them not knowing the whole picture. But I wonder where he gets the idea of them trying to "rule" over us. I just do not see that.
