Thank you for sharing your story grayjones and for your sacrifice and service as well.

Are you referring to things that you did or things that were done to you. There's no need to tell us but it's important for you to distinguish the difference.

As far as I can tell, I really have it in me to forgive anyone that has ever harmed me in the past or will do so in the future. This includes some acts that I don't feel are necessary to mention.

But for example, I had a neighbor that is a registered sex offender. His crime was committed against a seven year old child. I took it upon myself to become his friend or as least I made a great effort to do so. As you can imagine this made enemies for me because not only did I not participate in the organized community plan to make his life a living hell, I went as far as to defend him in public, not his crime but him personally. This did however, sway a few people's opinions and they too took it upon themselves to treat this man a little lore humanely whether he deserved it  or not. AS far as we know he not committed anymore crimes. There's no way to know for sure if our kindness had anything with his decision to stay straight but it never helps to treat a human being like an animal or a pariah.

I know this repulses many people and maybe even some here but I do not have it in me to hate someone nor do I feel that it is my place to judge someone else. He was labeled a high-risk offender which means that he is considered someone who is most likely to re-offend.

Don't get me wrong though, if I were to have caught him in the act of committing a similar crime, I would have prevented it with whatever force necessary.

Please understand that I am not comparing you to this person in anyway but am merely trying to make a point.

The bottom line is this. If you are the "victim" than forgiveness is absolutely the key to moving on as everyone else suggested. If you are referring to things that you have done than the same holds true and you must forgive yourself and do every thing within your power to make amends.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        

I scored an 88 but the odd thing is that I have no doubt that I am truly connected to the human struggle and never considered myself to be anything but. Regardless, I enjoyed the little questionnaire and recommend that others take it.

Well, we all know that a true scientist doesn't dismiss anything as a possibility no matter how "preposterous" something may seem just because it doesn't support the current paradigm from which they are currently working under. That just makes them a "believer"...something they claim to not be since believing is for the loonies.

If only they would look for common ground. All we really disagree about is the 1% stuff. No believer in God these days really believes that the Earth is just 6,000 years old. Why? Because science has more than proven this. No believer in God discounts the laws of physics that are currently known because science has taught us this. Like I said we only disagree on about the 1% stuff but unfortunately that is wide as the pacific ocean .

It annoys them that they can't prove that there isn't a God or a higher power at work and it irks them even more that we don't care to prove that there is one.

CFT's post reminded me of another point. I usually encounter beings that appear to be human in every way and most of the environments that I am also appear to be earth like so I usually ASSUME that I am in an Earthly plane but this does not mean it is true. So be careful of assumptions as I am always guilty of making them during my projections.

Native Americans and tribal cultures all over the world dance and sing chants as a form of meditation and report to have what we would consider OOBE so it makes sense to me as well.

I think that just about everything considered to be a "psychic" skill is connected to being aware of the wider reality. It opens the door to so much. I don't have any desire to develop any of these skills such as remote viewing, healing, clairvoyance, mediumship, etc...but I find that I sometimes don't have a say in the matter.

I'm not trying to make it sound like these things happen to me often but coincidences no longer exist for me.

I'm glad that you finally had the experience that you've been working for. Ten years is a long time and no one would have blamed you for giving up.

Though I believe everyone projects, not everyone is ready to do so consciously and remember the experiences. Like you said, it can and usually does change your life forever. Many people just aren't ready for that. It forces you to reexamine your belief systems as well as your concept of reality. That's a lot to put on your plate even when you think you are ready for it.

Many people try to astral project because they think it sounds like a fun thing to do and most probably don't really expect anything to happen. Some people are fortunate to have been raised to keep an open mind while others, like me, were raised with a very rigid world view and it completely rocked my world.

Sorry for the cheesy cliche but I believe it is appropriate in my case.

I am of the belief that we are not actually leaving our bodies but one thing that I have noticed is that when I have an RTZ experience, it is always after I do a roll out. In other words, it appears as if I have actually separated from my body.

When I visit other places or planes as they say, I always just seem to gain my awareness and realize that I'm not in Kansas anymore. RTZ experiences are great for people who are looking for validations but after a few, most of us just accept that something incredible is really happening and want to move on to the fun stuff.

I only experience the vibrations about 30% of the time so I would say that are definitely not a prerequisite for non-RTZ projections. Like Lion said, create the intent to go somewhere else.

It's dangerous stuff and that is why hospitals use specialists (anesthesiologists) to deliver it. It is a very thin line between unconscious and ready for surgery and death.

Fear not my fellow APers. Last night on Coast to Coast AM  Dr. Michio Kaku (speaking on advances n Neuroscience) said that one day we will have that "Magic Pill" that we can just take that instantly allows us to travel the many universes. He says they have located the area of the brain responsible for OBEs and NDEs.

Why is it that whenever I hear news like this I get a shiver up my spine, lol? But not in a good sense. 

 

I have no problem with science figuring out how these experiences are physically happening. It doesn't take anything away from it. There has to be a mechanism that allows us to have these experiences and understanding the mechanism does not exclude a higher purpose.

The God pill coming up.

Here's the thing. Major religion has AP locked up tight.

People are warned that not only are their lives at stake but so are their souls and that's eternal they like to say. It's so dangerous, that even entertaining the idea, is enough to invite trouble for yourself and more than that, innocent people. We can't even try to ration our way out of it.

But many of us only find ourselves here because of spontaneous events. I knew what AP was in a very broad and ignorant sense but I was always smart enough not to dwell on things like that because we get tempted (a belief trap) but rest assured I was told, I did do something to bring this on myself.

There is a saying that is sometimes credited to the Catholic Church (see how I used capital letters out of guilt ) but I have doubts; "Give us the first seven years of a child and they will be ours forever." Creepy, right?

It doesn't mean that in a literal sense but it is true never the less. It sucks to admit this but we really do stay pist off at mommy and daddy our whole lives for not buying us ice cream that one time. Obviously, many people grow up to drop their major religions or convert to another but whatever concepts or ideas that were implanted into them at that early age will be with them forever.

For all of our advancement, we are still very naive thinkers. We believe in opposing ideas simultaneously (double think) knowing that one is false yet we make decisions based out of the fear that arises from it each day..-I need this to be happy, surgery to be pretty. All we need is food and water for our bodies and clothes suitable to our environment and we stand a chance to live but we need each other to be happy. Primitive thinking now compels me to say that I am not a hippy.

Educational institutes are dumbing down their curriculum to churn out more passing grades. This means that in a very real sense, knowledge is being withheld in order to meet standards. Religions are destroying spirituality instead of nurturing it every time they bend to political pressures of the day. Now don't get me wrong, if something is right then it is right but why did the eternal word of God suddenly change? Governments are passing more and more and more laws that take something away our freedoms instead of protecting them.

It's all so very backwards.

Totally into demons and all that. Said they followed her around and tried to steal her energy.
The more I talked to her, the more I realized she needed that. Needed to have some thing
scary to make her feel strong and powerful around others. Like me, who's experiences have been
largely positive and good.

Tyler, MU, The OD, or whatever your name is, it is becoming obvious that you do not believe in any of this. You make a few posts so that you come across as sincere and then you start up with this stuff.

If you really wanted to engage Mr Campbell in a sincere debate, you wouldn't have made an butt out of yourself and been banned from his own forum FIVE times.

Your ban from the Pulse is quickly on it's way if you do not stop with your attitude. In all honesty, you should have been banned by now but we are a site that believes in giving people a chance to correct their behavior.

It's clear to me that there is something in your mind's pathology that compels you sabotage yourself even though you simultaneously crave and need the interaction with people. Most people just go out and make friends in their personal lives. Then they join forums that fit a certain niche so that they may discuss topics that aren't of your everyday garden variety.

You do not have to be a believer to be a member here. You're even welcome to think that we are all delusional but you are not welcomed to be rude to any of our members, respected authors, or anyone else for that matter.

Since you probably do not have many people with whom you can have a healthy repertoire with, you would do well to tone down your words here.

Oh, and in case you didn't know, forums report problem members to other forums, so you may come to find it increasingly difficult to find other forums to troll. Keep that in mind.

The bottom line is this: Be respectful and you MAY continue to be a member here. I put "may" in bold because you may have already ticked off the boss to a degree that it might already be to late. 

I suggest that you read up on sleep paralysis so that you can understand why you perceive a negative entity in your presence but there really isn't.

Of course everything I said isn't true if you have to share a room with an in-law because that would make the negative presence very valid and your life may be in danger.

Gold actually is a very common material to use in large sheets in spacecraft design, for its ability to stop radiation and its conductance properties.

Not to mention that it can be flattened to a thickness less than a human hair which makes it perfect for many things in space since something that thin is light weight and costs less to ship up there even when compared to the price of gold itself. Gold is very often used in space tech. Gold it self isn't used for chutes but rather for sails in space but that doesn't rule out a gold colored chute.

Which means that aliens would like it for the same reasons.

I have never done any energy or chakra work but I have read quite a bit of literature in regards to the subject matter.

So my advice may have no value to you whatsoever and that is fine.

Many, if not all, of the most revered Swami's have all insisted that no one should activate their kundalini (pardon me if I am misusing the terminology) until they have done years of studying, meditating, and energy work. According to them, it is a very powerful energy surge and can make someone's life miserable if they have not properly prepared themselves for it.

Also, one man's descending Kundalini is another man's warning signs of a stroke.

So please do not rely solely on metaphysical descriptions and advice if you are experiencing any scary or uncomfortable physical symptoms.

If what you say is true, then that day when I was playing Starmade never existed.. I don't remember falling asleep two times...  My false awakenings are never like that, because I value lucid dreaming/astral projection so much, In every false awakening Ive had I try not to get out of my bed because I desire to consciously enter an astral projection.

This sort of discussion is pointless to the level that anybody who sees anything out of the norm, someone else can just go and say that it was in his mind.

You're right. Anyone can say that you are just mistaken so that is why our personal experiences will never prove any of this to another.

If you are certain, then you are certain and that will have to be enough because skeptics will deploy this tactic every time. We have to be able to accept this and not let it bother us. Yup. Whether we are recalling what we ate for breakfast yesterday or a dream that we had the night before, the only thing that makes them "real" now is that they are both memories.

I've never bothered to learn anything about Monroe's focus levels because my interests don't lie in mapping out the astral or NP since I feel it isn't really possible to do.

With that said, I read something everyday where people report how much it has helped them so I would never discourage anyone from trying to understand his focus levels. He was a brilliant man and I'm sure that there really is something to what he describes as levels but I had already been projecting for too long when I first heard of them to find any personal use of them.

I'm not sure what to believe in this instance so I guess the best thing is not to believe anything until I've had my own experiences there. I suppose that if it was possible to deploy astral guards, the White House would be one place that did.

I do "know" one thing though. The US military did not spend millions and millions of dollars on their remote viewing research and other psychic programs just to prove a thousand times over that there was nothing happening. Once it became public knowledge and the ridicule and oversight began, they had no other option but to claim that they ended the program.

Is it your intention to alienate yourself or do you just not understand how you are coming across? Another acceptable term for quantum physics is quantum theory. There's a reason for that.

We are a community that encourages independent thought. There's no need for anyone here to try and assert their intellectual superiority over another because it has the opposite effect.

Please relax when you read a thread that you don't agree with. Disagreement is fine and can lead to fruitful discussions or it can lead to a battle of egos where all sides lose.

Just a thought, but...

Since we're all "one" consciousness... what one consciousness experiences, all consciousnesses have available... perhaps only on a completely subconscious, unknowable level to the individual.  This explains to me the ability to experience a location which you have never personally ever visited.

Your statement reminded me of a program I watched about acquired savants. These are people who have some sort of physical trauma to their brain in some way and then fully recover only they now have an extraordinary talent. They are not idiot savants (pardon the term but it isn't mine) since they recover with no ill effects.

The top neurologist from John Hopkins said he believed was only possible because these new skills were already programmed into the brain and were suddenly accessible due to the trauma. That's a taboo statement to make for someone in his field and with his stature.

That's a neat theory but the "one" consciousness would explain it as well.

I completely agree with CFT but I also share a similar sentiment with Jude. It is just so painful to see people in mourning and it's a very natural thing to want to comfort them with our personal beliefs but this can easily backfire on us.

The logical response here is that you simply didn't realize where exactly you ended your game.

Besides I had an unbelievable validation with a book that I fell asleep reading once. I like what Tom Campbell says about "miracles". They happen on the fringes. A thousand people won't usually see someone levitate because that's a huge program to overwrite but it's no big deal to rewrite a small code for a couple of people to see it.
