I'd have to say again, as I did when someone mentioned Tantra:
Sexuality release life energy--that energy's most likely intended to facilitate the creation of a new life--make sense?  The energy goes to the woman....still making sense?
Of course, in masturbation, it's simply lost---but it would be anyhow, if you had a partner.  If you're female, it increases your life-energy level, the moreso if you have a partner--but if you don't use that for anything, then it's simply going to dissipate over a relatively short period of time.  If a female masturbates--same thing, their energy level goes up, but not as much as if they had a partner.

However, that's life energy--the energy of the soul, as it were.  It's the very heavy, solid-seeming energy that some martial artists use.

Psi energy on the other hand--the energy that makes up the bulk of the aura--is lighter-seeming, and appears to be associated with nervous system activity.
So, if you listen to active music, get up and move around, have sex, masturbate, get mad, get really happy, etc etc.....
Your psi-energy levels will increase, regardless of your gender.

Keep in mind that people are designed to do these things--a guy's not going to lose so much life-energy from sex that he's incapacitated, unless he's REALLY overdoing it.  Yes, it takes something out of him, no matter if he has a partner or not.  But that's his stress, from being male.  For females, the stress comes in preganancy and child-rearing, and that may possibly take just as much or more out of a female than the cumulative amount a male loses from sex.  I suppose that depends on how many children a female has, if any.  However, females are built slightly tougher than males, when it comes to withstanding stress, pain, and demands on their body.

I do wonder if all of this may have something to do with why men generally have slightly shorter lifespans than women.

This also explains why many people after sex feel both tired and full of energy at the same time--one type of energy goes down, the other up.

Whether or not you're going to worry about any of this at all depends on what you're trying to do.

Certainly that energy could be channeled to some specific purpose.

It's quite true, they don't smell exactly like pot, but without a relatively recent comparison, it's easy for someone to confuse the two.  The smell is somewhat similar.

Hmmm....try doing some focusing exercises.

One I learned was this--pick a time each day, and make your place quiet--unplug the phone, if you live with other request not to be disturbed, etc.

Sit in a comfortable position, and place a candle in front of you (on a small table or something).  Light it, and look at the flame.
Do NOT allow the flame to blur, or twin.  Do not look away, or allow your eyes to dart around the room.  Just look at the flame, and keep it in focus.  You may only be able to do this for a minute or so at first.  Do it as long as you can, until your effort fails and you lose your focus.
Extend the period of time you do this, each day.  (Don't have a clock in the room--just check the time before and after you do it).
Eventually, the room will begin to disappear around you, and you will see ONLY the flame, clearly.
When you can do this for a half hour without real strain, then you should have all the focus you'll ever really need, and this may well solve your problem.

Unfortunately sage and cedar smudges also smell exactly like pot.
Hey, one time when I was pulled over for a taillight out, the officer looks in my car, and starts staring, and he goes "is there anything else you want to talk to me about".
I just looked at him blankly in utter incomprehension, until eventually I followed his gaze to my car's ash tray--where sat a partially burned smudge stick.  My eyes widened, and I just blurted it out "it's a sage and cedar smudge stick!"
Whatever he thought of that, it seemed to satisfy him.
So, I suppose it not only smells like pot, but apparently looks like it as well....

Charles Tart struck me as a fairly reliable looking sort.  Certainly he's well known in the psi community, even if he IS afraid of Uncle Chuckie.

They used to think that you could shock the brain into behaving normally again.
Actually, shock treatment is undergoing a revival.  It seems that in SOME cases, it can actually cure things like severe depression.  However, sometimes it causes permanent minor disability, and sometimes it does not work.
They still have a lot to learn.

Diamonds and quartz are completely different from one another.  Diamonds are highly compressed carbon.
Quartz is NOT.
The structure and properties of these two stones bear no resemblence to one another.

Systems like NEW and the one I was trained in both operate on the principle of improving energy movement, production, and CONTROL.  As counterintuitive as it may seem, using one of these systems faithfully may provide the tools necessary to control the visions--paying attention to what your energy does when you have one, and what it does when you don't, should allow you to prevent or trigger them at will.
This takes time....would that all psi kids got training early IMO, but no one ever said life was easy.  This may be his best bet.

EM and psi energy definitely seem to interact, and one can be transformed into the other--however, they are not the same thing.  How much EM someone's emitting may have more to do with the particular frequency/pattern of their field than with the amount of energy they are carrying.  (ie, someone else could be carrying more energy, but register less EM because the energy they produce doesn't convert as readily.
EM production in psis can fluctuate, too, apart from their psi energy production--many psis I know have days in which they would be advised not to work with computer components.

I can't really agree or disagree with that entirely--I once killed something off by getting really mad at it, though.
Anger increases one's energy level--that can feed a parasite, yes, but it can also feed your own abilities, if you know what to do with it.

The dark patch, along with the rest of it, makes me think that what that dark spot is, is actually an anchor--that is, a psychic docking point for whoever/whatever put it there, to make it easier for them to link to you.

Cut away and remove the net, and in particular remove the anchor, and shield--or have someone else do the above.  (Shielding is particularly important as whoever/whatever did this may be alerted by the tampering, and attack the one doing it...not to mention making the whole thing harder by reinforcing it).

They appear to be a mix of sage stalks and cedar twigs.  I don't know about acquiring cedar outside of the US--that's something you'd have to check locally.
Anyhow, the stalks are bundled into a smudge stick about 4 or 5 inches long, and about 1 to 1 1/2 inches around, tied in two or three places with cotton string.  You simply light the end, and it should smolder and smoke--I expect you use it like a moxa stick at that point.  (I have to admit I've never seen a moxa stick. ).

As I said, I disagree.  I don't think we can actually fully perceive reality, let alone create it.
Nor do I believe that observers automatically affect what they observe.
I still maintain that the change is what allows observation--not that the observation causes change.
Theory means it is not law.  There are reasons it is not law.
None of the conclusions drawn here are facts.  We're both looking at the same set of data, and each drawing different conclusions.  Neither of these conclusions is proven by the data--both are equally possible and valid.
Many long-standing theories have been overturned in the past.  There's a tendency to consider a long-standing theory to be a law, but it is not.
Laws are few and far between.
Einstein's theory of relativity is STILL a theory.  It may still be proven wrong.
So long as there is that possibility, it remains theory.
Newton's laws are clever....they state "unless acted upon by a greater force".

I suspect that the reality underlying quantum physics is something that no one has yet fully conceived of.  That all of the current theories are wrong, and the truth is something else altogether.
This is because all of the current theories have problems that seem without solution.
We may yet solve those problems...or find out that the problem is there because the theory is wrong.

I suspect a missing piece of the quantum puzzle lies in the form of psychic energies.  They are real energies--as physical as any other energy.  What it is that makes them different, and how they interact with known energies, is going to definitely have an effect on current theories.

Well, there's yet another similarity between NEW and the method I learned under--people complaining it's boring.
If a person can get on a treadmill and exercise every single day, they can do NEW or use the Training Manual on our site.  You have to really want to do this.  It has to be very, very important to you.

Perhaps it's just as well that people who have a lesser interest will lose that interest when they realize that training is tedious.  Those who are left will have the dedication to reach for their full potential.
Harsh, but true?

Basically, you charge your skin, then hold it that way, and visualize the energy there becoming the shield (of your choice--a force field, a suit of armor, etc).
In my school of thought, students are taught to do this quite nearly before anything else--as soon as they're capable of.  And, they're taught to make it permanent--to reinforce it when they think of it, and keep practicing until it will stay up even overnight while they sleep, and maintenance of it becomes subconscious.

A shield of this type is protection against psychic attack by persons or entities, and also can provide a buffer against overloads via your own sensing abilities.
Once you get used to the shield (anywhere from a few days to a few weeks), you automatically compensate for it, so you can use your abilities through the shield with no attenuation.  (At first, it can make you feel like you've been wrapped up in cotton...but that does go away).

The advantage is obvious--it's a seat belt.  The shield is there if something should happen.  Rather than having to struggle to get a shield up AFTER you've been hit, you can reinforce your shield at the first sign of trouble, and you've got the advantage--you haven't been hurt yet.

What I describe above is the most basic beginning version of a shield of this type--it's still better than a "bubble shield".  But people usually elaborate on the design, adding multiple layers and other bells and whistles as they learn more and gain more skill.

Well, I did wander off the most remote part of the US.  (Smallest population of any State, including Alaska).
Seems to collect psis, actually.  There's something to be said for peace and quiet.  Gets boring occasionally, though.

Mmm...Travai, I don't think that's been my experience with it.  Grant you I've dealt with only little demonic entities, not the great big strong ones.  But if a person's simply psychically undefended, they're a reasonable target.  A person who tends to produce the type of emotions some demons prefer is probably going to be more likely to attract them, yes.  But at that point, the demon will hit the right triggers in the person's brain to cause that emotion more often--that's pretty difficult to fight with psychology, because they didn't mean to get mad/whatever in the first place--it was caused by an outside force.
I think that fighting off a demon via psychology is probably the most difficult possible way of doing it.
And besides--it's your brain, darnit.  You have the right to think and feel whatever you want to--why give that up to get rid of a parasite?  I think perhaps the demon wins in some small way if it forces you to change to get rid of it.
That may just be my opinion.

Hmm...personally, I don't believe in the "observer" theory.  I just don't think we are that important.
What I do think is going on, is something we do not understand.  I think there is another explanation for what seems to be happening, and it's something we just haven't conceived of yet.

How do you detect a subatomic particle?  The only known way to do so is to observe its interactions with other particles--and once it interacts that way, it is changed.  So we can never know what it was like before the interaction.  Nor after it.  Only during.
This leaves tremendous gaps in our ability to perceive what's going on, on that level--the vast majority of a particle's existence is utterly imperceptable to us.  That means the vast majority of what we conclude about particles is going to be complete speculation.

How can we possibly conclude that our observation of a particle changes it, when the only way we can ever observe it is to use something to change it?  That is incredible circular logic!  It's not our observation that changed it--it's our changing it that allowed us to observe it.

I have never personally seen it in action, but those whom I consider reliable claim that they have.  The best results (for triggering it deliberately) seem to come when people focus energy from their solar plexus nerve cluster.

Try something light--Cosimano had some limited success with ping-pong balls, for example--make sure the surface is level, and there are no errant drafts or vibrations, and go to town.  Try pushing and pulling first, then lifting, or side-to-side motion.  You might have success with one when you didn't with the others.  Don't expect to pour yourself a cup of coffee with a levitating coffee pot.  Only one person I've ever heard of had that kind of skill, and he's dead.

It's a very, very difficult ability.  If you're determined, you just might have some success--but don't expect too much.
And, ominous as it may sound, if you do happen to have some reasonably good success with it....keep it to yourself.  There are, from all rumors, some folks who are very interested in people with that ability, and that's not the good kind of interested.
Maybe they are just rumors, but still the coffee-pot guy was murdered.
