I would never hurt anyone. I'm not evil.  :-D
Clerks do not get fired for taking $13.82. Clearly it would be thought as a mistake, who also steals 82 cents exactly? I remember faces, no one has lost their job. The general manager of this particular store is a nice man, doesn't strike me as someone who would think the worst of his staff members.

I would correct someone who handed me a large, suspicious amount.

It's not something I learned. It's something I've always been able to do among other parlor tricks...It's appeal to the subconscious, that's all it is. The women on both my mothers and fathers sides of the family...I'm pretty much convinced the natural witchiness comes from them. :-P I've been pulled over several times, never written a ticket. I've bought alcohol countless times, yet I've never been carded. I don't have to look and act cute or look and act old. It's a seperate conversation, it's whispering. I could abuse it (I actually did, ages 12-13 *cough* had straight A's  :-) ) but now more than half the time it is subconscious even on my end. I am not always fully aware.

Really? I heard they can make your brain bleed too. I also heard they make you pregnant and give you gonorrhea if you're not careful!

Yes. Really.

Psilocybin is a poison, and poisons pass through and are filtered by your liver.  Don't make me sing the Reading Rainbow song. ~Take a look! It's in a book!...~ You need to read more about drugs if you wish to defend the safety of their use. But go ahead, mock my warning and label it propaganda.

If someone with compromised liver function came in here thinking it might be a good idea to try them, then what I said could only help in their case. To those who worry anyway, I would reccommend taking milk thistle for a few days after taking mushrooms.

I would reccommend taking milk thistle if you regularly take tylenol  :-P

Do any of you talk to friends/family/collegues about this stuff or have tried?

Very few.
Only two people.

I'm looking forward to an afterlife of peace and rest. When I imagine it, in my own opinion, retaining this personality in the afterlife qualifies as a form of hell. I can only imagine it of course...but it would seem a great torture to lose everyone I know and love (through death) and realize this...for they are parts of me that mean more than anything else. If I kept this personality, which is already entirely too sentimental, than I would be certain to lament the afterlife.

Could be the mystery behind my souls reasons for reincarnating.

This is the greatest issue...with a human personality can eternity even be handled? I don't believe it can. I think we must shed personality, I don't think we can keep it. I do like who I have become so far, but this persona couldn't handle moving on. I know it could not.

The more I think about it, personality seems formed more by exposure to the physical...life on earth (individual treatment, events, locations, bonds with others or a lack thereof).

So what are Mentos made of?
Can't someone just bend over and pass gas?  Just a thought.   :| :?

I've seen the videos...it appeared as if there would not be enough time if the two were ingested. But someone could probably throw it up if they had to. Although maybe it has more to do with the closed bottles than the chemical reaction itself.

The things flew 50 feet in the air when slammed onto the pavement.

the indigo in indigo children refers to the colour of their aura.

But the color of ones aura always changes, doesn't it?

My physical body won't exist. I will keep my personality, my interests, my thoughts and my way of thinking them. That's what really makes who a person is, anyway.

I don't think I'll retain any of these, I don't think they really are important. They are attached to the self. The self always thinks it is special, even though there are billions more just like it  :-P

I too have feared the canned rolls and biscuits. I'm not too sure if I still do, I can't eat them anymore. I do vaguely remember...handing the last one I bought over to someone else to open.

Negative energy is the root of all disease and problems.

Maybe it is for some.

My pain and struggles were choices I made before incarnation. I've always felt that. It wasn't caused by negative energies or karma. It was contractual. Every single time that I complain or curse it, the realization forms over me like a small cloud and rains. I have felt it since age 4, it only makes me laugh at myself. Somehow I made certain I would remember my choices most of all in the moments I suffer.

It's certain I wouldn't be who I am in a healthy body. I wanted to be this person exactly. And I couldn't without the choices that have formed me. I am aware more is waiting on the time. So much I will take on.

I did not deserve that.
All I asked is what you thought of certain things that I brought up on my own. I wanted your TAKE on those concepts only. I was not putting words in your mouth and if you read anything as being patronizing it was distorted in your head and you missed the point. I was not trying to counter you, but show where I was coming from so that you might see a way to help me understand your side. I wanted to know your thoughts only.

Sorry you feel as if everything is an attack. Hope one day you don't.

Hi Nodes,

To me those are all perfect examples of horribly negative people. I can't even for a second consider that people who do wicked things should be allowed an excuse such as possession or influence by a demon. When you say that their actions are the cause of anything but their conscience or lack there of you make excuses for them. They don't have a demon...they have apathy. I believe nothing else in this world has the power to convince a person to kill. It is a force...nonliving...apathy.  :-(

If belief in the existence of demons is the best angle you can come from to make yourself understand that, then that is fine. I can't judge. I just feel such a belief on my own behalf would excuse them from the choices they chose to make...saying a demon is the cause lends a terrible person a separate personality on which to place the blame that is entirely theirs.

I just cannot give them that benefit.

But on the contrary...
What you believe, if such was the case it would have to mean that angels were the only reasons we ever did any good...wouldn't it? I am sure you know at least one human being who radiates love, an exceptionally warm hearted soul...so they are possessed by an angel? Doesn't sound so bad, except you end up denying them a good heart in their own right. Believing in these things also denies that kindness is in our free will.

I just don't feel we are devices (you know?) that can fall under another being's control.

:?
At least that is how it all makes sense to me. If you can explain to me the law by which only demons can influence us, not angels, please do. I am assuming you do believe in good people. Help me understand the purpose of angels in this world if the purpose of demons is as you have said.
If you are able, thanks in advance.

Ah. I see what you mean now. Earlier though, I was basically searching my brain for an example to help me explain.

It is just one of the things I like to think is concrete. Whenever it is that  (scientifically) someone identifies that a human being can change the actual structure of their DNA, I'll be a believer...as well I should mention, highly impressed. With certain things I just need a bit of proof.

I do not assume that everybody needs to,i know i need to.Whether you re a soul or whateever you need some sort of ID no??Otherwise how s it different from not existing ??

I tend to think we have some sort of ID that is more profound than with human life. But that it is unfathomable when we try to imagine it now.

Heehee, yeah.
I only applaud.  :-)

Smiting might take karma away, but I always feel it still gives them something...when I'd rather give nothing at all if I don't like what someone has said. Also it seems if a person is acting negative, negative feedback seems to only feed and reassure them.

It is always fun to watch a debate unfold here, and observe the karma begin to vanish on both sides. I get a kick out of that.

 :-D

Smiting doesn't actually hurt, you know...hahahah. Smiting is foreign concept to me, even if the thing is just for kicks, I'll never return the favor if that's what you are seeking. You're forgiven beforehand, go ahead and smite me every 100 hours if you wish.

Why is it a big problem if someone needs money? Everyone wants money...but remember a lot of people plain need it, and many do not make as much as they need. I don't see a reason to jump all over his/her case. What if they just want to influence their boss to give them a raise? Is it so terrible?

If you think they're bad...  :-)
I very gently psyche cashiers into unintentionally giving me all of my money back in change when I can barely afford to eat (nothing significant enough to get them into trouble). For me it makes the difference between starving and not starving. I am aware it isn't right.

PEOPLE choose to act in cruel and hateful ways, then use the neg card as an excuse or even blame other people for their behaviour.  pffhht.. what a crock.  "You made me say those hateful things" I'm sure we've all experienced or are still experiencing someone like that in our lives.  The one who can't take responsibility for their own actions and just loves to blame everyone but themselves.   Maybe they use excuses and shields because if they allowed their consciousness to admit they are actually in control, it will be too much for them to handle.

*sigh*
People with sh!*ty attitudes are like the part 2 of dealing with negative entities. Though so far there's been only one person I couldn't neutralize by any means, kindness, patience, love...She insisted on being a victim in life to whatever end. I've tried many ways to help her, it does seem like her physical brain scrambles and distorts her spirit -- something I think happens to many -- because her subconscious is far more rational.

Two months ago she came to me while I was out of body...we had a good talk, but I'm certain she would never remember. Though I caught her trying to plant astral objects in my house, which I wouldn't allow because it struck me as some form of witchcraft.

Negative people in the physical are harder...to send away, to help...
I'll take on a demon over that any day.

But to truly be a man/women of knowledge you must walk both sides of the fence otherwise your mearly a fool.

Enoch,

There is no such thing as the former. What you know on your own can't even compare to a dust partical in the vaccum of space. You are the fool you accuse them of being. The wonderful thing is that's part of what being human is, you can never learn or know enough to be anything but. No amount of knowledge or wisdom can spare you from being a fool like everyone else. You know nothing more than I. And I know as much as a half second in eternity.

If you would listen, the advice TalaNay has given Nodes could also be your ticket. But I guess if you cannot believe that you are powerful enough to uncreate these things, then you are not. Then you are powerless.

I was powerful enough...that's why all the demons I used to see and believe in, now couldn't have been anything more than negs which can never come back. They cannot even come near me now...and I'm certain it is because they would vanish forever under my gaze. They now fear me, otherwise they would have continued to hurt me every night. I just don't let myself be weak, I've come into a fuller potential spiritually.

Your soul has unlimited potiential...are you not aware?  :-P
...Or can you not believe me?

NEW YORK - People who took an illegal drug made from mushrooms reported profound mystical experiences that led to behavior changes lasting for weeks — all part of an experiment that recalls the psychedelic '60s.

The first and last time I took a common variety of mushrooms in a tea I had what most would consider mystical experiences. And quite a lengthy period of changed behavior that I can only describe as a normality I've never once in my life experienced...

But I am not supposed to be and to feel this normal, that is the main issue. I am supposed to be as my feelings naturally dictate. Chaotic...full of emotion. Likely insane.

It was as if the drug swallowed eccentricities that I believed as immutable as DNA...

You have to understand yourself, first, before anything in this world can help you.

I would not recommend mushrooms...and they're hard on the liver anyway.

I have never seen an animal on the astral...
Now that I think about it, I have only seen very occasionally people take the forms of animals. Never actual animals...unless it is that I cannot see them. Interesting. Perhaps I see them as human.

Oh, and I don't believe the process of coming into existence really matters...it will possess the same something that we all possess. Though their bodies do age twice as fast.

Going by your logic. The person that lives now and wrote that message(YOU) will no longer exist in the afterlife, since you will be your soul again-that had many incarnations.

Are you assuming he/she will care about losing their identity in this life? Of course a lot of people do, but on a message board like this I think you might find many more that are less attached to a sense of self  I am fairly unattached and the only attachment I have is through the people who care about the me that I currently am. Sense of self has only seemed to become a necessary distortion in this world. It is something that many people feel they must desperately hold on to. But you can't assume that everyone needs to.

Personally I look forward to being a soul unfiltered by the state of living.

I don't think souls are exclusive to bloodlines. For me it is contradicted by the fact that my soul has such stronger ties to the eastern world...in both memory and philosophy. My ancestors originated in europe. As early as the age of 3 it was obvious to my parents that I had had a previous (and recent) incarnation in the far east. In fact, in the way I approached everything it was to them as if I had an inherent knowledge of buddhism, hinduism...and some highly peculiar form of animism...

Now, I have a very open mind. This bloodline theory, I have considered before. Especially in regard to DNA. So far we can only understand the functions and purpose of 3% of our DNA, the rest is referred to as "junk DNA" because no one knows what it is for. If it has no perceivable purpose, it may just be that it's purpose is imperceivable. I've always wondered if it was the mysterious formula that called each particular soul to each particular body. And if the soul is connected to its body's DNA, naturally it would seem that even bodiless souls in a bloodline would be related.

I've given thought to everything. But I always end up going along with what feels accurate (the only way I ever passed algebra, hooray for multiple choice ). What feels right to me is that we bounce around all over the face of the earth to obtain whatever experience we feel the need to obtain...but that we do either coordinate with other souls, or merely position ourselves to cross paths and end up near to them.

#150
I was thinking it might be related to their karma if they have very good karma... But until they found out recently, they had no idea this was happening. So if it is them, it is subconscious. An entity seems to be the best I can think of, a mischievous one.
