NoY on the other hand has a great deal of experience with phasing, AP, OBE, whatever you wanna call it and regularly has detailed explorations of the otherworlds. 

you tell me who you'd trust to give you information about these otherworlds.

but that doesn't mean Xanth isn't experienced.  he has a great deal of theoretical knowledge and a great deal of LD experience and phasing practice.  he is VERY well studied on many different AP techniques as well as mysticism in general.  he is a very useful source of information, theoretical and practical.

each person brings their own strengths to our discussions, but no one person's perspective is any better than another.  we don't need to bring ego and pride into this.  so what if someone doesn't consciously exit and so what if someone consciously exits daily.

i haven't projected since march of this year and i only started in january.  that's maybe 3 months of actual projection experience, yet people still seem to find my explanations helpful.  i'm good with theoretical knowledge and abstract contemplation.  i can see the mechanisms of the practices we do and i have a lot of knowledge on the subject from many different traditions.  i am able to combine that to provide helpful information, even though i don't have a lot of OOB experience.  does that make information that i share less reliable or useful?  of course not.  it means that i can help in certain situations and other people may help better in other situations.

If demons really do exist then they are afraid to interact with me for some unknown reason.  We know this can't be the case due to demon-legend and folklore... and honestly, I'm nobody special.  Now the second option... they are the creation of those who believe and I do not believe that they exist so I don't provide them with the chance to exist.  Makes sense, eh?

The problem with using drugs is that without proper training they don't really induce projection.  What usually happens is you remain focused on your body and the alterations of physical reality, thereby preventing yourself from shifting your consciousness.  If you are a successful projector before hand, you will know how to utilize the drug not just use the drug.  So all in all, you'd do better to achieve projection naturally first, then if you want you can try the plants.

Occultists call it Pathworking and commonly do it with Tarot Cards, Runes, Myths & Legends, Alchemical Carvings/Paintings, etc.

Though, this is often done from a waking state as opposed to an astral projection (though in truth, doing this from a waking state tends to lead to projection).

People aren't always going to be what your expect or want, like you PR...sorry I'm too conservative for you.  I dislike big Govt. and love the idea of private establishments.  Nothing wrong with the guy down the street being smart and growing a big business.  I can't be a hater because I'm not a great business person.  I can't demand that the Govt stick out it's big teet and let me suck away, I'm just not one to like the Govt all in my business.  Literally.   If there is no competition out there, what drives the prices?? 

Oh you're not too conservative for me.  In all honesty, when it comes to government, I'm with you.  My dislike of republicans stems from my distaste for Christianity and the often overwhelming Christian undertones in republican thought.

I can't believe that Reid won...  but at least the House is no longer a democrat majority.  So, we made some sort of head-way. No if we could just get rid of Obamacare.

you misunderstand what happens in the astral (imo naturally).  you're not going to find an objective text.  you would actually enter the mythology of the story as a participant and experience the deeper meaning yourself.

It doesn't really matter how you do it.  Just pick a technique and try.

I wouldn't worry so much about what they are.  Just use the techniques you learn to try and do it. 

However you see the "nonphysical" is how you see it, and I don't think you or anyone else can give an objective definition for what these experiences are.  So, in the end, all that matters is your subjective experience and what you take away from it.  This is a process whereby you release your imagination through creation (creativity) and learn more about the depths of your being and its relationship with reality.  This makes astral projection (and it's many different forms and labels) a highly personal adventure that doesn't necessarily reflect objectivity.

Have fun exploring and keep that child like awe and belief in what you're doing.

I've tried to put a tarot card on top of my fridge to view ooh, but it never worked.  The few times I made it to the fridge the card wasn't there or it wasn't a card (blank piece of paper, a dagger and a candle were some of the other shapes the card took.  It was the magician for the latter two and the hanged man for the former).

Binurals themselves will not "get you out of your body".  They are meant to be tools to help you achieve the various mental states associated with astral projection and its variations (remote viewing, phasing, lucid dreaming, etc).  Only you can cross that line between a trance state and a perceived projection, there is no device, technique or trick that will do it for you.  Binurals can be useful in learning to reach a theta brainwave state and not fall asleep.

I wanna clarify that the designations I made are loose at best.  they are based on subjective interpretations of an experience.  in truth it it more like an infinite consciousness continuum containing any state of mind you could possibly be in.  every moment of every day your consciousness shifts back and forth along the continuum to different states of conscious awareness, though our perception has become habituated to focusing in certain areas (like physical reality and related phenomena).

I work with a psychic reader and healer who cured his partners brain tumor 2 weeks before he was supposed to have brain surgery.  He really didn't think he could cure him, he wasn't just trying to ease the pain and make him feel supported.  But when they were doing the last "checkup" before the surgery the tumor had shrunk down smaller than a dime which apparently means surgery isn't necessary.

How in the world do you expect to change it, if you constantly ignore it because you deemed it a waste of time?  Who's sniffing poo at that point?   Let me get this straight... You are just going to allow others to speak for you??  That makes no common sense what so ever, IMO.  But I do think this is a good example of why and how our country as come to the place that it is now at.  

What makes no common sense to me is the persistent delusion in this country that any politician is really doing what their job is supposed to be.  Perhaps "democracy" was a good idea once upon a time but we're just not doing that anymore.  What we're doing now is watching soap operas and a bunch of he said she said.  There hasn't been a genuine president since JFK, they are all puppets.  Vote for whoever you want, it won't make a difference.  You can continue to think you are a politically sophisticated individual who sees through the bull crap to the real issues and thus vote accordingly which gets "your voice heard" wayyyy up there on capital hill.  Unfortunately you'd be dead wrong.  It's cool if it's a good enough distraction to forget about how morally debased, selfish, greedy, and just plain bad our system of "government" has become.  I on the other hand choose not to sniff poo and say "mmmm roses".  Anyone who still thinks there is something genuine in the american political system and government, I am sorry because my comments must seem horribly offensive and just plain inconsiderate of your political ideals.
