I usually attempt to AP at around 3 pm. if i try to do it after i wake up i don't move or open my eyes and nothing happens, then i get in a different position and relax and do some technique but nothing ever happens, if i wake up at about 4am i get up for about 40 min and then go back to bed relax and then i just instantly fall asleep. the only time when i get any results its around 3pm. when do you AP ?

you should breathe in and out 50 times or until you are completely relaxed so inhale 1 exhale 2 after you're completely relaxed count 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 - 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 - 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 - 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 - 5 6 7 8 9 10 - 10 9 8 7 6 5 etc. and only count on the exhale so you are not focusing on your physical body.

as your muscles begin to relax your brain senses these relaxation signals and misinterprets them, thinking you are falling down. The brain then sends signals to the muscles in your arms and legs in an attempt to jerk you back upright. This misinterpretation that takes place in your brain may also be responsible for the "falling" dreams that accompany the falling sensation. These "dreams" are not really normal dreams, as they are not produced from R.E.M sleep, but rather more like a daydream or hallucination in response to the body's sensations.

You are focusing on your breathing, counting up and down from 1 to 10 on each exhale, augmenting the lowest number each cycle.



Ok so inhale then while exhaling count 1-10, inhale then while exhaling count 10-2 etc. right ?

yesterday when i went to sleep i kept my forearms up so if i fall asleep they would start falling and i would wake up, then i did the Mini stapler's technique and after about 30 min i was still awake so i put my arms down while still doing that technique and in about 1 min i fell asleep  :-(

Ok i will try this technique tonight. btw if wake up at 7 am what time do you think i should go to sleep ?

no I'm having trouble astral projecting myself. I can't even get sleep paralysis.

I can wake up whenever I want I don't need an alarm clock, but when I wake up I cant stay awake I just fall asleep in seconds :/

I usually try to AP when going to sleep, I concentrate on my chest rising and falling but I always fall asleep within about 2 minutes. i think i get enough sleep. On weekdays I go to sleep at 23:30-0:00 and wake up at 06:50 on weekends I go to sleep at the same time and wake up at around 10:00. If I try do do it when I wake up it's just completely impossible to stay awake, I can wake up 5 times during the night but I just fall asleep in 5 seconds. I don't do I often at daytime because there's usually other people in the house (they would think I'm crazy) but when I do I usually don't fall asleep (sometimes I do) and nothing happens. Any advice ?

when trying to astral project i relax for about 5 min until im completely relaxed and then i try to clear my mind and then try to concentrate on my breathing or that high pitched noise (idk wtf it is) and i can do that for up to about 2 hours but nothing happens, i dont get sleep paralysis. Last week instead of doing that and waiting for sleep paralysis i just did the rope technique and after about 15 min i began feeling something happening to my body and after about 1 min that high pitched sound was VERY loud, i couldn't hear anything else just that sound. after about 10 min i could still move my body :/ every AP technique says that  i need to do the technique after i get SP soooooooooo ???

WHAT ?? there is a HUGE difference between them. lucid dreaming is just knowing that you are dreaming and being able to control everything in that dream. astral projection is when you get out of your physical body with your astral body/soul and travel in different dimensions and planes and it is ALL REAL
