that's really interesting that you say that stookie.

i'm reading a John C. Lilly book right now that mentions this concept.

Lilly discussing the collaborative mathematic efforts of a group who published papers under the single pseudonym Dr. Nicholas Bourbaki

"Whether or not this group was greater than or lesser than a single human mind, operating in isolation on similar materials, will not be known for some time.  It may be that the human biocomputer interlock achieved among these mathematicians created a new entity greater than any one of them in regard to modes of thinking, complexity of thinking, and creative new ideas."

lol, yea.  it just sounds to fun to pass up.

Since it's not necessarily empirically testable (and therefore not falsifiable) then there is an equal possibility that it is a 'metaphysical' phenomena, perhaps a glimpse of a future event or maybe even a perception of a preordained situation.

i like wilde too, but he's a bit of a nutter

makes me like him more, other people don't necessarily agree.

i heard somewhere that it means the machines reprogrammed something in the matrix.

(couldn't help it, sorry)

I think you could even say that you have become astral awareness as if astral awareness were an entirely different self than waking awareness (which has infitine variations as well)
#1683
yea

i called it "Content Awareness"

but i specified in my post on my blog that we're talking about an infinite continuum of awareness and nailing down any concrete designation is impossible.  these designations are also able to "slide" up and down the continuum to varying degrees.

I'll write a post on my blog about the shadow self and post it in the pulse, further explaining my point.

I was kind of waiting until some others chimed in before i threw my opinion in the mix.  but CFT brings up my point.

i think that in most instances, what people consider to be hauntings are really emotional imprints onto the energy of the space.  conversely, the more dramatic instances (like poltergeists moving things and whatnot) i think are attached to people not places.  i think that it is a very very neglected "shadow self" that has become so compressed inside of a person as to reach a point of critical mass and manifest physically.  what that means basically is that the energy in the "thoughtform" from the suppressed shadow gained so much intensity that it projected into physical reality.

Obviously ghosts can because they are in RTZ, but what about the higher astral planes??

but you said obviously, like you knew that ghosts existed and that they existed in the RTZ.

after i get to a certain "depth" of trance it goes by really fast.  i feel like i'm there in trance for about 25-30 minutes, but it turns out to be +/- an hour.

i do like to spend a good long time getting into trance though.  make sure i'm good and relaxed, maybe do some energy work or something.
#1690
have you seen or otherwise experienced some evidence of ghosts existing at all, let alone in the RTZ?

furthermore, do you have experiences that prove to you that the RTZ is really there as a separate "zone"? (instead of just being a normal astral experience that is built around one's attachment to physical reality)

sorry, i wasn't trying to be a buzzkill, i just don't know how to answer that question cause my first thought is  "*ppshh* ghosts".

Welcome to Spiritual Evolution! / Re: Meditating?
October 04, 2010, 19:46:50
not really.  that's the only part i can't entirely explain, you have to do it.  just don't expect anything.  you're not trying to get anywhere, you're just doing it for now.  the longer you meditate, both in a sitting and as a practice, the easier it will become and the more something "will happen".

i might suggest trying different kinds of meditation, kinds that have you doing something with your mind.

I'm starting a series of posts in which I will attempt to the best of my ability to explain the nature of nonphysical/physical reality in relation to the individual.  We'll see how it goes, but I started it by pointing out what I believe to be the one flaw that prevents real experience of reality, definition.  Anyway, here's the first part, more will be coming.

i'm not entirely sure, but i would guess between an hour and an hour and 25 minutes.
#1695
you're in UAE right?

how's all that going?
#1696
good call.
#1697
On average it has taken me about an hour and a half from when i lay down to when i come back from projection.

be vigilant.

I have written a post with a slightly different take on Xanth's new designations.

You can read it on my blog "Shades of Consciousness"

yea, i don't want to give APers the wrong impression.

so, to my more impressionable fellow Pulsers,

i say that i'm "flaming" them over there at dreamviewers, but my responses are legitimate counter-points to their "anti-ap/obe" mentality.  so don't think i'm just rolling over there and calling them all idiots and leaving.

I'm finishing my BA.

Which i love.  Psychologists always whine about how scientists call psychology a "soft science", and psychologists argue hardcore that they are just as concrete of a science as biology or chemistry or neurology, but then universities still classify psychology in liberal arts.  LOL!  it just cracks me up inside.  makes me smile.  i always pick on my professors about being soft scientists.  (invariably followed by a joke about me being a "hard scientist" when particularly attractive professors are around, lol)
