Greetings Shimewaza!

As you say, ultimately the only way is to find these things out for yourself and arrive at your own conclusions.

But I would not be so quick to put the existence and ranking of these powerful beings down to "religions", when many of us do not follow a packaged belief system, only that which is a direct result of our own knowledge and experience.

Additionally, if you became familiar with the principles and teachings of the sacred text the "Kabbalah", you would gain alot more insight into these areas.

Best regards,

Adrian.

Greetings Mozia!

And thanks for your contribution in suggestions in resolving Mozia's situation Filipcza which I make alot of sense.

It would be useful to find out through discussion exactly what her fears are. It is by no means unusual for people to react in this way, and often it is due to the restrictions of belief systems etc.. Othertimes it is fear of the unknown of perceived consequences in dealing in areas which are regarded as "occult" or "paranormal".

One solution might be to ask her to listen to the sound archives of Robert's Art Bell interview with you. Roberts great sincerity and descriptiveness in these areas might assist her understanding of these things.

Good luck!

Kind regards,

Adrian.

Greetings Mozia!

Well quite frankly, I think the first thing you need to do is to discuss this openly with your wife, explaining to her what it is that interests you about Astral projection and why. It is very unfortunate that she felt compelled to "confiscate" your copy of Astral Dynamics as if she was saving yourself (or herself) from something adverse, when nothing could be further from the truth. I would suggest that your objective should then be to amicably secure the return of your book, in order that you can pursue your path openly.

Good luck!

Adrian.

In regards to Dr Cuneo not seeing anything out of the ordinary while everyone else was seeing spinning heads and whatnot, two things:

1) It is possible that Dr Cuneo was the one seeing an illusion; and,

Greetings Ruth!

I don't think the issue was that different observers were seeing different manifestations, but rather they were different interpretations of the same manifestations.

Dr. Cuneo seems to be rationalising the condition along the lines of, or if you prefer, within the limitations of, his professional training and background, as a pure medical condition. He was apparently not open to the possibility that the manifestation was due to non-medical causes, i.e. demonic, or other negatitive entity possession.

I find this disturbing in many ways. The most vulnerable to such possession are infants and children - exactly those who look towards, and rely upon, the appropriate actions of adults to free their young bodies and minds of such an incredible burden. If the best we can expect is for a doctor to come along and prescribe some anti-biotics, then clearly our young people are in danger of being very badly let down at best, and affected for life at worst.

I am very much hoping that Robert's soon to be released new book, Practical Psychic Self Defense will increase awareness of possession, and, at the very least, cause adults to seek assistance from those who know how to deal with (exorcise) negative possessions, before they can permanently affect the possessed.

There is no excuse for ignorance regardless of qualifications, especially where children are concerned.

Best regards,

Adrian.

Greetings MJ!

I think the problem here is that "scientists" in general are so bootstrapped by their educations, carreers, colleagues (including what they might think) and "logical" perceptions as to the way things *should* be, they will always, but always, try to instinctively rationalise a phenomena in terms that fit in with their own scientific framework. I don't have a problem with scientists by the way, I used to be one myself - and organic chemist.

But the same goes for OBE and related phenomena. The vast majority of scientists and psychologists cannot extend their thinking to the possibility of the existence of many other dimensions of reality, spirit worlds, reincarnation etc., and simply shut them out.

In fact, I think it is  deeper than that - I believe that they are *afraid* to contemplate such things, lest it shatter their life's education and work, and be branded as unstable or cranky by their peers. Most scientists, generically speaking, are quite simply in denial about these things, and it accordingly causes them to try and rationalise these phenomena in terms which meet their own limited scientific frameworks.

But going to demonic possessions, in the light of the above, it is not at all surprising that this Dr. Cuneo should try and rationalise things in the way he does - he would be more comfortable ascribing these phenomena to a known medical condition.

Robert Bruce knows more, and at first hand about demonic possession, and you only have to listen to his personal experiences and evidence to realise that demons, like Angels, are very real, and demons do in fact possess people.

Best regards,

Adrian.

Greetings DJ!

There are many very good resources on the Internet on the general subject of remote viewing, however, most of these relate to a particular type called Scientific Remote Viewing (SRV).

Personally I think RV is an interesting subject, but one which can be improved upon vastly in the context of more recent knowledge, and in particular the work of Robert Bruce. SRV mostly originates from the "cold war" espionage days. Here is a website:

Greetings Klaus!

Indeed that is an excellent idea! Leaving a digital video recorder running in a room frequented by ORB's.

I am not sure whether the digital media is the same though. Still digital cameras use SIM cards, but can operate at very high resolutions indeed - probably partly why it works where conventional photographic film does not.

Has anyone tried this? FastWalker - you seem to have ORB's reliably floating around your home - do you have access to a digital movie camera at all?

Best regards,

Adrian.

Greetings Shimewaza!

Welcome to our forums

Interesting position you put forward regarding good and evil being belief system oriented.

A couple of comments - many of us here do not subscribe to packaged "belief systems", preferring to discover our own true spiritual paths and realities based upon personal learning, experience and knowledge rather than dogma.

Regarding good and evil specifically - how do your regard Angels vis a vis Demons, for example?

Best regards,

Adrian.

#1734
Yes, that has to be the entire issue here.

One should develop inherent and potential natural capabilities in all of these things.

Relying on mind altering substances, or any other prop, even assuming it produced a genuinely objective result (doubtful in my view), will cause a reliance on that prop in future. It is all an illusion.

The problem is, one such an illusion could be conveniently interpreted as a great result, and your true path is lost - otherwise it becomes wavy with red spotted mushrooms groing in the cracks

Adrian, is the Isle of Man equivalent to Fire Island, New York? That's probably an inside joke. Let's just say many of the fae folks visit the enchanted dunes of Fire Island, and there must be other fae power centers across the planet.

I really couldn't say, I have only lived here for about 12 years, and I only know a tiny fraction of the local folk laws - although I come across more all the time. I am sure there are lots of locals who believe in all sorts of things - but having said that, the Island is a very mystical place indeed without any doubts, one can sense it everywhere, who can say what people have really seen manifesting in the physical through a temporary Astral gateway from time to time? It might well be the Astral touches the physical here more than in many places. Must be the damp sea air from the gulf stream

And don't forget there is a whole set of people out there who seem to spend their time evoking dragons, in fact I believe their are even books published on such practices.

I can only conclude that these are forms of Astral wildlife of varying degrees. Has anyone here actually encountered these beings in the Astral, or evoked them to the physical?

#1736
Greetings!

Talking of the Fae folk - where I live here in the Isle of Man, they have been a local tradition since time immemorial, among the native Manx people especially  (I am not native Manx myself BTW).

Four times each day, taking my kids to school and back, I drive over the "Faery Bridge", where, if one does not greet the Fae folk nicely, ill fortune is supposed to result. Local kids hang presents for the Fae folk on the trees around the bridge, yo yo's, balloons and soon on, and leave wish lists in plastic envelopes.

The Island is named after Mannanan mac Lir - a pagan deity. The entertainment centre where the kids and families go to play and be happy is called "Summerland" another pagan (and ancient)term for the spirit worlds.

The Isle of Man is also now believed to be the true Isle of Avalon of the Arthurian legends, it's previous name was Emain Ablach (Isle of Apples) described in the Arthurian legends, located in the western seas, and which was also associated with Mannanan mac Lir by the legends.

But to get to the point - the Fae, assuming they exist, are presumably Astral dwellers, and it has oft been said that in the Isle of Man "the veil is thin", so it is not all that surprising, that being the case, that the Fae folk have more of a tendency to slip into the physical manifestation every now and then from the Astral.

Anyway - just thought I would share that with you since we were on the subject - I have never seen a Faery myself, and so, until I do, I will remain open minded about it

Greetings Q2U

Thanks for your interesting post

I must say, using a digital camera with a time delay to capture a projection "out of body" would be very interesting indeed. A projector who could project at will could do this. It would also provide us with some clues regarding ORB's vis a vis OBE, etheric energy, ectoplasm etc..

If you have images on a server, you can include them in a post by placing the URL betweem image tags. It would be really great to have alot of people with various photos of this type, we could start a sub-category just for such pictures is enough were available. If you don't have access to a server, send the images to me by email, and I will put them on the main server. Only on-topic pics though, no Big Foots, Chuka's or Jersey Devils please

Best regards to everyone,

Adrian.

I read an account of something similar somewhere - can't remember where now.

But this happened to a skeptic - he went to sleep one night simply wishing he could go on vacation, then later, he woke up with vibrations and he projected. Apparently he floated down the road to a friends house, went in through the side of the house, got bored, and returned to his body And because he was a skeptic, he never tried again.

But pre-sleep suggestion/affirmation makes sense. All it is doing is to program your consciousness to enter a full wake induced projection, rather then the usual sleeping projection.

You could also consider Wake Induced Lucid Dreaming (WILD) - it is possible to take control of a Lucid Dream to the extent that you can convert it into an OBE.

I believe ORB's can take many shapes, in fact of the photo's I have seen there have been quite a variety.

I would suggest that what you encountered would fit the general description of an ORB.

I am interested in the relationship, if any, between ORB's and high concentrations of Ectoplasm in the areas in which they appear. Entities, including I believe projectors, with high Etheric energy, and entering an area of high Ectoplasmic content, can be seen as the classical white cloud type appearance of the typical "ghost".

I wonder if ORB's are a similar phenomena?

Spoken as a true authority on the subject Inguma

I would just say that I wasn't taking any sort of moral stance in my previous posting, rather my own personal position.

However, I do believe (correct me if I am wrong) that some Shaman use mind altering substances in their work - so I guess there must be something in it. I wouldn't doubt a Shaman!

#1741
Well - I don't smoke, rarely drink, and have never, ever partaken of illegal substances (call me boring), but my opinion is that any hallucinogenic substance used during these activities will produce a commensurate resulting level of reliabibility and usefulness - i.e. to the detrimental side.

I would question whether his awareness is *really* alot greater, or that it is just an illusion? I don't think the word is trance but "trip".

Same goes for projection from this state, would you really trust any apparent degree of objectivity at all? And it has been proven that "trips" of this type are not actually Astral journeys as such, but rather inner hallucinogenic creations in origin.

I never stand in judgement of things like this, and if people want to ingest drugs to check out the effect, then go right ahead, but I really do not think that the use of such substances has any place in a proper developmental energy, projection or spiritual path.

Just my humble opinion

Greetings Astral Shadows!

Welcome to the forum!

NEW worked for me first time in a dramatic way - much more than I expected.

Before that, I was doing conventional chakra meditations and energy raising on the primary chakras only, using visualisation techniques.

That worked fine, but I would say that NEW is orders of magnitudes superior, not only for the primary centres, but from the fact that it works with the entire energy body, the cumulative results of which are far more effective than any other method I know.

Best regards,

Adrian.

Just a note: It would be useful if people could comment on both the colours and design.

Thank you!

Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Astral Mapping
February 25, 2002, 15:48:40
Greetings!

Robert did mention on the Art Bell program, in response to a question, that he would indeed like to map the Astral Planes. He also mentioned that this would be a very big task indeed, and would require much assistance to do it anything like properly. But it seems to be on the agenda certainly.

This is a very exciting prospect indeed, and potentially pushing the boundaries of knowledge of the Astral realms beyond current levels - from some perspectives anyway.

In Astral Dynamics, Robert describes in a very graphic way, the various Planes, with the areas in between the Planes, and the amazing surface "skins" visible on their approach.

Another, and extremely important perspective, is the Kaballistic "Tree of Life", with the many paths between the realms. How the two approaches reconcile is one for Robert!

Very interesting indeed

Best regards,

Adrian.

#1746
Greetings!

I believe that Robert's stated position in his writings, and with which I personally agree, is that each and every person is not assigned a personal spirit guide (or more than one) at birth.

It is much more likely that good, and willing spirits, will generally answer and assist if called upon to do so.

Kind regards,

Adrian.

Welcome to Metaphysics! / where chakras are located?
February 25, 2002, 11:41:30
Greetings Helion and friends!

At the front, apart from the root chakra which is at the base of the spine.

Chakras are usually seen from the front clairvoyantly as glowing or pulsating spinning "wheels" or "vortices" of the appropriate colour, averaging the size of the palm of your hand - except for the crown chakra which is much larger. I see them as vortices.

I have switched to NEW now however - and the results are much enhanced - for me anyway.

Regards!

Adrian.

Greeings Fastwalker!

You can embed images to your forums postings if you have a server upon which to store it.

The forum posting syntax is:

img image URL /img - the "img" and "/img" should be in square brakets [] - I can't do that in the above example, otherwise it picks it up as a real tag and causes a broken graphic link.

e.g. the result would look like.

http://www.astraldynamics.com/forums/AP_400.jpg " border=0>

If you don't have access to a server - email it to me at mailto:forums@astraldynamics.com, and I will put it up on this server. Please ensure that it is not to big for a forum posting though - it might need resizing otherwise.

Take care,

Adrian.

Greetings!

The best positions for OBE are flat on the back, or sitting in a chair with head straight.

Sitting in a chair is a recommended position. One of the main problems associated with lying down in bed, even flat, is that the body is programmed to fall asleep, and so you might go straight through deep relaxation and trance to sleep.

Also, even if you do OBE from a lying down position, the chances of a decent memory download or lessened. Because of that, I believe Robert recommends, OBE from a hard chair.

Best regards,

Adrian.

Greetings Focus15!

Regarding smudging for Psychic Defense, I believe that garlic actually is highly recommended as well.

I suppose whether you choose to use it or not depends upon your plans for the remainder of the evening or night

Blessing to all,

Adrian.
