To follow up on this topic. As the forum has become more active over the last week or so, the search engine rankings have improved accordingly. A Google search now places Astral Pulse on the first page of the results for the search term "astral projection forums". The Google search result may well vary according to data centre location, previous searches for this search term etc. On the Bing search engine Astral Pulse is actually the top result and appears twice on the first page.

I have also noticed that coincident with these factors, the number of forum users online at any moment has almost doubled - 200 as I write and often up to around 300 some days. I don't have access to the actual web stats, but this surely means thousands of people are visiting the forums ever day and hopefully benefitting from the wealth of content available here.

I realise we only post when we have something to share, but it would be nice to maintain this increased activity for the benefit of all those coming here to learn about these subjects. Even topics such as the recent "comedies" are most welcome.

Hello, this is my first time posting I hope I'm doing this right.

Context: I have been projecting since mid-late 2021. When I first started I was hot. At least 4-7 projections a week. On the good weeks I was having 8-12 with two opportunities to project every night. After the early start of 2023 my projections just stopped and dramatically slowed down. I went from my usual amount to maybe 1 or 2 every month or so if I was lucky. It became a struggle to even get to the point of projecting. I was used to laying down and very quickly hearing a very loud static/rushing water sound. I rolled out very very easily and went on my journeys. It was never an issue to project.

Over the last two months they've slowly started to come back but with very little consistency and with very different "signals" that are not as strong as before. I feel like I have no momentum and its a battle to even have one or two a week. I'm trying my best to let things flow but it's still frustrating.

I would love some thoughts because I really want to get back out there. The last two Projections I had were almost two weeks ago. Very short but pretty nice to finally get out.

Any help would be appreciated

Just reading through this topic now, and not much to add to the excellent advice already provided by Lumaza.

To be successful at AP you should do your best to remain positive, letting go of all negative, blocking thoughts about perceived lack of success, which can impress upon the subconscious mind and slow or block further progress. Instead, completely and simply trust, knowing and believing your innate inner ability to experience whatever you desire, naturally including AP. As has been so well stated already, it is not a good idea to get involved with methods or actions requiring conscious effort. Phasing is a completely natural ability which will become more natural as you progress. The subconscious mind can also be impressed through imagination and affirmation immediately before sleep to experience AP more directly. But to begin with, phasing is definitely an excellent and proven successful method to focus on as it also brings with it valuable abilities such as concentration, relaxation and focus.

I would just add that terms such as "projecting" or "out of body" are somewhat ambiguous. We are infinite Divine beings existing concurrently everywhere in the universe of "all that is". So there is nowhere to "project" "from" or "to" as we are already there. As Lumaza said, experiencing inner realities is actually a shift in consciousness to, usually, a higher vibratory frequency than that of the "physical" plane.

There is a vast amount of information within these forums, and highly experienced members who are always willing to help.

At the final analysis, while our true nature and human relationship with God should not be overlooked, ultimately it is how we personally experience and relate to God that really matters, which is ultimately through Divine, Unconditional Love.

This passage from the bible summarises Love very well.

Thanks for this interesting and profound quote Tides, which could be a whole discussion topic in itself, and perhaps should be.

There is the biblical passage:

So God created man in his own image

Which has long and generally been taken to mean that God has an anthropomorphic human-like form, residing "up there" somewhere above creation. What this passage would actually read in modern language is "So God created man in his own imagination", i.e. as an "idea". We were created from God in the absolute and Divine likeness of God, as God. The same creative power that brought the entire universe into being, is within every human being, which is also what the passage quoted by Tides refers to.

It is also notable that almost every religion and spiritual tradition espouses the same truth that we are One with God, Source:

Buddhism: "Look within, thou art Buddha".

Vedanta, part of Hinduism: "Atman (individual Consciousness) and Brahman (Universal Consciousness) are one".

Upanishads, part of Hinduism: "By understanding the self, all this Universe is known".

Yoga, part of Hinduism: "God dwells within you as you".

Confucianism: "Heaven, Earth and human are of one body".

Islam: "Those who know themselves know their God".

Christianity: "On that day, you will know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you". -- John 14:20

Christianity: "Behold, the kingdom of Heaven is within you". -- Luke 17:21

Christianity: "I and the Father are One". -- John 10:30

Note: In the last passage, Jesus said - "I and The Father are One". Not I and my Father are One. This subtle difference is due to the truth that we all share the Same Father, with Whom we are All One.

Absolutely, for all the extensive and interesting discussions on the true nature of God, it is surely our relationship with, and how we experience God, Source, that really matters. And as for:

If we are One, we should be interested in the welfare of our Brothers/Sisters.

As Jesus said - "Love thy neighbour as thyself"

We should extend this to all creation, to include, animals, plant life, nature, the environment etc, all of which are part of us and are One with.

Yes I agree, there is no "right" or "wrong" in absolute terms, because again, that would be a duality.

I have a high regard for the Sufi's who of course go back many hundreds of years. The Sufi's of course are mystics who are primarily concerned with the human relationship with Source, God. The most famous Sufi mystic of all must surely be Rumi, who's very beautiful poetry portrays the human relationship with God as Lover and the Beloved, and Divine Love in absolute terms as well as much other wisdom. Rumi's poetry contains very considerable wisdom which must have been inspired.

Hi Adrian, the UBook is challenging and it takes time to become familiar with the ideas presented. I understand what you and LB are suggesting.

But basically the UB says
"God is all and in all, but all is not God because God is the Source of all and therefore greater than all."

It may be too hard for limited minds like ours to comprehend. It may be that there are no words to corrrectly describe one who is 'more than all.' But the UB implies God as a personality.

I am not familiar with the Urantia book or the absolute origin of the information presented therein except that it was apparently channelled. The origin of channelled works are always virtually impossible to verify and accordingly the veracity of what is being conveyed cannot be completely relied upon. For example, I am aware of books that claim to have been channelled from higher celestial beings, but which are quite quite obviously channelled from Astral beings, well meaning though they may be. That is not to shed doubt on the accuracy of such channelled information, but the fact is we can never be absolutely sure to the extent that it can be relied upon, if at all. We also cannot be sure how much the ego, beliefs etc  of the channellers has influenced the text.

Further, the human language is woefully inadequate to enunciate these higher truths. Beyond Earth, all communication is by mind to mind thought transfer, which is unambiguous and complete. 

As to:

"God is all and in all, but all is not God because God is the Source of all and therefore greater than all."

There is no "greater" or "lesser"- these are dualities. All in existence, The All, The One, is Source, God, and therefore must all be Perfect and equal in every way. Yes, Source, by definition is the Source of All That Is", but All That Is, including Humans, are still Source, God, and therefore must be equal and there can be no other way.

Edit: I would like to make it absolutely clear that my above comments regarding channelled works are not directed towards the Urantia book specifically. I have not read any of that book, or intend to, and accordingly cannot comment on specific content.

Well stated LightBeam. Experiencing leaves one in no doubt whatsoever, only an absolute knowing, as to the true intrinsic nature of who we really Are. Also the truth that the Universe is One, must mean that the Universe and all it encompasses is God, Source, The One, The All, and that as such we must also be that same Source. "Children of God" implies duality, ergo, God and the children of God, as separate entities. This is simply an illusion of the ego, which exists get its own way through attempting to propagate duality.

Yes I understand your position completely. All I would add is that "feeling we are God" is not the same as Knowing that we are God. And yes, the whole meaning of Spiritual evolution, as I mentioned earlier in a previous post, is to progressively realise more and more of our Divinity, to become more and more God-like, Divine, until ultimately we are on the same "tier" as God, and we are finally truly Home. Actually we never left, but that is a different topic.

Yes, for many the  truth that we ARE God, Source, The One etc is a leap to far for many, which is understandable. It might be more acceptable for such people to consider themselves to be children of God, which is also true. For Christian people, they might like to read the passage in the Christian Bible were Jesus said: "In that day you will know that I am in my Father, you in me and I in you", which means we are all one with each other and with God, Source.

Thank you Adrian. I have learned the subconscious mind doesn't just exist within our brain but extends outside our physical bodies too.

Yes, there is a common misconception that the brain is the mind and seat of consciousness, and that the brain is capable of originating thought. In fact, the brain is simply an organic interface that the subconscious mind uses to maintain bodily functions and impulses from the conscious mind. The subconscious mind is an aspect of Spirit, and therefore of Source that exists everywhere in the universe, eternity, concurrently. Ultimately the brain and body do not even exist, except as a projection of the subconscious mind.

This experience was more like the reality with which I am accustomed to had a momentary malfunction. The desire of late is to be in communion with God more often. So maybe that's what's being communicated here... A way to grab my attention compared to the more traditional manifestative styled promptings I've learned to recognize.

God, Source communicates through the Heart as intuition, inspiration, knowing, and not through language or any other device. Any "promptings" you receive are likely originating from your Higher Self which of course has an interest in your Spiritual evolution during an Earthly life.

No I am not self-realized/Actualized, but there are moments of real communion. To me, it's important to give God as an all knowing(yes that means God knows the things we don't), all powerful, an all loving and omnipotent creator due respect. I would rather think my self a student, friend, child and lover of God. All that matters(to me) is to Know God. To Seek God. And to be in that state of communion more often. It's a beautiful place to be.

Indeed. Ultimately Spiritual Evolution is all about being and becoming progressively more "God-like", more Divine, until finally we Experience Divinity absolutely, and we have finally returned Home.

The objective of incarnations on Earth, and in the Astral, all of which take place concurrently as "time" does not exist, is to transcend the influence of the ego to be more aligned with Divine Love.

Over the years/decades I have observed that a major reason for failure is people trying a "method" for a couple of days, getting frustrated and jumping to another method before finally giving up altogether. It is wise to stick to a single method until successful. Ultimately it is about impressing your intent on the subconscious mind, which, when fully accepted, will reproduce the experience at will. In my view "phasing" is an excellent approach for several reasons which I will not address here. Edit - as for the fatigue question, it will only affect your success to the extent you believe it will. If you can relax, for example before sleep and completely shift your attention to your AP method and away from any thought of fatigue, it will likely not affect your success.

Interesting experience.

Well, the so called "physical world" in an illusion, a projection of the personal and collective Mind. Since your own mind is responsible for projecting personal experience, it may well be that your subconscious mind caused you to experience this for a specific reason. What though of course is between your conscious and subconscious mind.

We should always remember that we are ALL sons and daughters - children - of Source, The One, God, therefore are all one infinite family. When we bring children into this world, they are not "our" children, we are surrogate parents for Source, and raise the children with Love accordingly. There can be no ownership, such as "my child" and there can be no obligations either way. Everything should be out of Unconditional Love. If anyone, at all, "earthly relative" or not influences, or tries to influence us negatively any way, then the sensible course of action is to distance ourselves from such a person, however difficult that may seem. Everyone on Earth is on their own trajectory of Spiritual evolution, and by allowing only positive people and circumstances into our life can we live a happy and fulfilling life, and be best in a position to help and uplift others to do the same, should they so wish.

The double slit experiment in quantum mechanics was pivotal to demonstrating that "matter" is only experienced while being observed - by the mind, consciousness, not simply the eyes. Energy in its native state exists as "waves". When observed, these wave forms" transiently "collapse" into particulate form known generally as "matter". When the observation is withdrawn, energy reverts back to its native waveform. This occurs at both a collective level and individual level which is why everything material exists as it does. Theoretically, if we withdraw observation of a particular "thing" large or small, it would instantly cease to be material until it is observed again. This generally does not occur because those material things are also being maintained by the conscious observations of others. Such observation does not need to be human either. The planet exists in its natural form as a conscious projection, observation of a higher Source. Quantum mechanics is of course still a human construct, a model which attempts to explain how energy relates to matter a quantum and local levels. Ultimately, all "matter" is an illusion which only exists due to conscious belief. This is why humans have the power to create and experience our own "reality" through focused observation, imagination backed by Belief.

Many look down on "animals" as being inferior to humans. Nothing could be further from the truth of course. All forms of life are equally aspects of Source, the Divine, and no lesser or greater than any other form of life. Unlike humans, which have an ego, animals truly live in the moment and have natural abilities including telepathy, by means of which we can certainly communicate with them at a higher level. All forms of life, regardless of size, form and abilities should be respected as equals and treated accordingly. Of course we don't want ants in the kitchen, but if they cannot be requested to leave telepathically they can be deterred using for example garlic or clove oil.

Cetaceans - Dolphins, Porpoises, Orcas and other whales are very advanced life forms in almost every way including spiritually. They have a high level of communication ability particularly telepathically. Felines are also very advanced in these respects. A few years back my wife, who used to live in Orange County, and I, really enjoyed Whale watching trips out of Dana Point.

As for cleaning, we use no commercial products at all, only white vinegar, sodium bicarbonate - baking soda -and liquid soap which will clean anything safely.

Many think the have the "freewill" to follow the demands of the ego without question. In reality we only have two ultimate choices. Follow the urgings of the ego which often results in disappointment, discord, disillusionment, even chaos. Listen to and follow the inner wisdom of Intuition and experience peace, harmony, fulfilment, joy, and much more.

Ah, we can't forget the animals. We have so much to learn from them. They are loyal, content, live in the moment with peace, joy, and unconditional love. I am particularly drawn to cats, such beautiful souls that are closely tied to spirit.

Adrian, that brings up a very good point. Google algorithms are constantly changing. Even if I search "Astral Projection Forums" The Astral Pulse forum does not come up until the bottom of page 4. This is not ideal. It's best to come up somewhere on the first page, as most people's don't have the patience do read past page 1 or 2. Two other small astral projection forums come up much earlier, which I assume have much less traffic. It appears that some SEO/organic search engine adjustments could greatly improve the Astral Pulse's visibility on Google searches. This in turn should increase traffic. There is still the dilemma that the large amount of lurkers here should contribute and become part of the community, not just readers of the community. The archives are vast, but a sense of ongoing activity would be very healthy for the forum and our spiritual development.

Yes I do agree with your observations.

There is not much that can be done by way of SEO because user contributed topics and posts are what they are, and not really open to SEO as would an article written for a website etc.

That said, a component of the Google algorithm definitely takes into account frequency and volume of fresh content, which brings us right back to encouraging more visitors, of which there are plenty, to engage with the forums more.

When I started this forum 22 years ago, the Internet an search engine landscape was very different. Most pages and therefore topics were indexed in Google and there were far fewer very large websites mentioning Astral Projection and OBE etc. A search for AP/OBE and related topics would invariably result in Astral Pulse appearing, which brought many people to the forums to interact.  Over the years however Google has constantly developed its algorithms to place increasingly less emphasis on forums in general. These days searches on these subjects will usually see large multimedia websites with high rankings who wrote an article on AP. I am sure however that there are still plenty of pages indexed and people find the forums on more specific searches.

All that said, I note that whenever I visit there is often more than 100 people online which probably equates to over 1000 visitors per day. Xanth, who took over the forums and is doing an excellent job of keeping things running, will probable have actual traffic stats. Engagement of course is pivotal in keeping any forum active, the more that engage, the more are inclined to join in. So yes, it is somewhat of a conundrum as to how actually to engage all those people who do visit every day.
