I've heard only negative things about salvia.
#202
I'd like to hear more about this...if there is more to tell.  :-)

Fun's over.
There is no evil.
I feel...that there is positive and there is negative in all things, and it is a balance that is fixed into position. You just don't always see it. You see only and precisely what you want to see.

We like to think there is ultimate evil so we can know and believe in the  ultimate good, but we haven't that either. To me it seems whatever primordial belief of evil there was in this world...spiraled out of control and spawned a life of its own. As thriving as the human race are the ideas, the definitions and concepts of what is evil. And of these ideas -- mere thoughts -- is born the desires and actions to rid of it. To destroy it, to purify everything. Evil perpetuates evil. But evil, there is not.

Takes time to get comfortable with it.
We're all as confused as deaf bats and life's a walk in the fog.

I believe I unconsciously project more often than consciously.
Though I can only remember in great detail with my conscious attemps.

Agnostic.
But I'm interested in Shamanism.

They are almost real...
For example, I'll be walking around the house and everything will seem as it always is...then I'll find the fireplace ablaze in one corner of the room...when there isn't even a fireplace.  :-P

The thing that I always notice immediately is there are these subtle vein-like clouds swimming around...a very shear fog. But I think it's just some kind of life in the air that ordinarily cannot be seen.

Thanks everyone. It does mean a lot to me that you all like it.
Here is another, it's a mix of ink, colored pencil and all different kinds of marker  :-P Because it is such a small piece I might redo and paint it.

It's okay if the topic derailed, always happens. Fine by me if someone needs help and finds it here.

PS Who smited me? Show yourself, you coward  :-P
I actually don't like this smite/karma thing. To me it's another way to learn what people think of you, something I rather ignore completely.
I will never smite anyone.
#213
Enough said.
You've answered my questions to the best of your ability.

Now I'll go see a doctor who won't even begin to investigate the matter with or without being subjected to my prodding. :-P I don't think I'll be projecting for a while.

"Self diagnosis is a dangerous practice. In fact, it is one of the most likely ways to get a misdiagnosis."
The symptoms you describe could be hypoglycemia, but they may be something else. This is not something you want to mess with. It might be a good idea to see a physician.

[The imbalance medical condition causing the projection.]

That's quite possible, I guess.

The only instances I've ever diagnosed myself, I've been correct every time. I'm not exactly ignorant in the field of human physiology...I'm more medically literate than the greater population, but that's a story for another time.

It is an electrolyte imbalance, because as I've said (not only have my symptoms indicated) the situation lasted hours and ceased almost immediately and only after I replenished my electrolytes...after water had done nothing, after food (thus eliminating the possibility of hypoglycemia). And no, I hadn't been dehydrated, or malnourished prior to.

If you looked at it through my eyes, you'd see only the unusual correlations between the two. I'm not waving a flag here, trying to say it's dangerous (not at all), I'm just trying to understand the rapid onset of this condition the times I have actively set out to project...

It's shocking to come to...and feel like that...

I meant it makes sense that having an electrolyte imbalance
would cause you to feel like you are projecting..

But there is no explanation for its rapid onset...if dehydration caused it, it would have taken a day (without water) at least to manifest.

And had it been happening during the projection I would have noticed the feeling in my heart which always accompanies the imbalance. It feels like my heart is about to give out. The first time it happened, I half expected to die, that's how it felt.

Though I do see what you are saying...
The imbalance causing the projection.
#216
It happened again, yesterday.
After another session that I could recall. This time there was gatorade in the house. I know many people here will argue, that there is no way an OBE or astral projection can harm you physically. With the evidence that is building, I have to on my own behalf, disagree.

Also, I'd like to remind those skeptical, that this has never happened to me at all otherwise. I've never experienced this, except upon coming out of these sessions.

#217
Why would simply remembering have caused this?

A doctor couldn't possibly call it a hallucination, I experienced extreme physical symptoms that indicated something was terribly wrong.

I researched my symptoms...they were actually those of a severe electrolyte imbalance. My pulse was so rapid and so faint...I could only find it by placing my hand over my heart. I couldn't find it otherwise. My state of mind, was that of someone who was oxygen deprived and this lasted well over 4 hours. The first time, I did almost go to the emergency room. I'm not exaggerating this at all, and it's not a minor problem despite being fixed easily as soon as replenishing the electrolytes...
If it ever happened and I was alone, I would not be able to go to the store for some poweraid or gatorade. In fact, I cannot even walk across a room when it happens as the tunnel vision and dizziness I experience are that intense.

I've just never heard of this happening. Depending on how you think of it, sense can be made. but I've heard nothing of it before...

I can remember projecting all of three times in the past six months. Every time there was the same consequence...an electrolyte imbalance right afterward. I usually have a partner with me, someone who can verify our exchanges. By my friends account I project far more often than I can recall, an unaware projector for the most part.

Funny thing is, those times that I remember which I (up until recently) thought were the only few occassions I had projected...I woke up with an electrolyte imbalance that's the worst I've ever had or had heard of. I couldn't even stand up without fainting. I had tunnel vision for hours.

My friend...same friend...told me what was wrong after a doctor friend and I were trying to figure it out for hours. Problem solved after seemingly ineffective litre upon litre of water all I needed was a gatorade.

So,
is this typical or...?

I'm always under 97, and always on the cooler side. Unless the temp is over 77, I can begin shivering at any moment. It's just that I have very low blood pressure. On the contrary I do fine in the heat (100 +).
#220
It's possible they DO experience emotions, but cannot interpret or make distinctions between them...so seemingly they are undetected. Personally, I pity those who are considered these types. I wonder what's missing or what is present to create such a state of being.

#221
My eyelids twitch something fierce...I don't believe they ever cease to throughout the course of the projection. But this is only a problem when it's given attention. If I ignore it, it's not a bother. If I pay attention to it from the beginning it naturally comes to frustrate me.

We used to sit out on my grandparents porch staring up at this towering  sand stone mountain. Everyone was always telling me to look for the faces, but having the imagination I did I never had to look. They were clear as day to me. Now though when I visit I count less. I think I have forever lost some of them in the side of the mountain over the years.

That particular canyon is haunted though.

I've come to like watercolor over both acrylic and oil.
Although I can do a lot more with oil...I hate the mess. It gets everywhere and sometimes it doesn't dry fast enough for me. Acrylic annoys me because I guess...I don't really know how to use it (I've only painted with it once).

People often mistake my watercolor paintings for acrylic though...
