In my view, Dreaming, LD and AP all happen in the "non-physical".

An etheric or RTZ projection is a physical projection.  It is essentially raising the frequency of the energy body and shifting up in physical dimension.  It takes more energy to do this so it would make sense that you feel more wiped out.

AP is relatively easy by comparison because it's much more natural and it's something we do all the time anyway.  It comes more easily and takes less energy.  But AP made me feel wiped out when I first started, until i built up my energy body.

I've shared this before, but I work at a metaphysical bookshop owned by a famous tv psychic that i won't name.

There are whole degree of weirdness with my boss, I can't even explain all the subtleties that make this a weird situation.

I'll just put it out there and see what you all think. 

So lately at work I've had quite a few customers come in telling me that they've had a dream about my boss or that he played a roll in their dream.  I could understand maybe one or two telling me that over the course of the year i've worked here.  I mean he's a celebrity.  But I have had a least a dozen within the past month or so tell me that he was a character in their dream. 

I though it was a little weird but I just ignored it.

Until it happened to me.

I don't remember a lot of my dreams but i distinctly remember a dream from the other day with my boss in it.  I can't remember the context, I just remember him being himself, a tv psychic, and sitting at a desk.  I assume he was in an authoritative role because someone introduced him to me as the "guy to talk to". 

I am wondering if he has placed something in the store to influence people here.  We have a lot of crystals from his private collection, including a $30,000 quartz point (it's like 4 feet long by 2 feet wide) and a $15,000 piece of Lapis Lazuli that is probably 1 1/2 feet tall, a foot wide and 4in. deep.  It makes me wonder if he programmed one of these stones to influence our dreams.  Perhaps it's the store itself. 

My boss is into ritual/ceremonial magick a bit, but he's very well versed in all kinds of different mystery traditions, so who knows what he's capable of.

sounds like it was something in between an LD and AP.

one thing i've learned from practice is that these experiences aren't as cut and dry as LD or AP.  I wholly agree with xanth (and therefore frank i guess) that dreams, LD and AP are all happening in the same "place" with varying degrees of awareness.  What I think people neglect sometimes is that your degree of awareness exists on a continuum.  everything exists on an infinite continuum, especially level of awareness. 

I think RB is a little full of it sometimes.

I really think he struggled to complete some areas of his research that weren't complete in order to have a well rounded book.

Don't get me wrong, he's a fantastic researcher and his book is wonderful.

But he's not the Astral God.  Aside from picking and choosing content from ancient traditions, i think he may have also just pulled some stuff out of his bum for lack of a better option.  Just keep that in mind.

your brain is trying it's damnedest to repair itself and rest up while simultaneously receiving experience to be processed that seems to defy everything it thinks it knows.  this leads to using mental shortcuts, making the best guess with the information given.

it may be a very odd string of images, but your brain is an amazing thing and it's doing a lot.

plus, the sensory information is different.

we're talking about making little black holes and providing empirical proof (which i defaecate on) of other dimensions.  that would be cool.

It's funny because i did it, but it's even funnier because of the depth of the joke.

I don't really put much stock into what sitchin says, but i like the books.  the story is very fun and interesting.  it's a fun interpretation.

Gateway doesn't bring you to AP but it tempers your mind and cultivates the skills that allow you to project.

Continue through it.  You'll probably wanna spend a week or more on each disc and listen to it over and over.

i guess i was always too excited to be afraid.  the bodily sensations freaked me out a bit during exit the first couple times, but i was never afraid of the OOB environment or inhabitants.

just do it and you'll see that you're "invincible"
