Ok Xanth. When DO lucid dreams happen if not in rem sleep? Also-i didnt say all obes happen in non rem rather I said "many" obes happen in non rem.

Another difference is lucid dreaming obviously happens during REM sleep. Many obes dont happen during REM sleep which is really astonishing. How do they happen without REM?

I have become lucid during a dream before but this is different then having vibrations and projecting. Lucid dreaming you become aware and already are in the dream body in the progressing dream. When you have vibrations you consciously experience going from the wake state from your physical body into the projecting body. You experience your "focus" go from the physical to the np.  Yet the actual construct seems identical ie you can perform the same tasks from either. Also when I project it usually is in a close replica of my physical surroundings. Lucid dreaming is already in progress. This phenomenon has made me place much more value on dreams as far as their "reality" goes. If you experience something then it is "real" rather physical or obe. Most people dont believe dreams are "real." Good luck luffy. I know you try hard.

I just found some people sell the entire $500.00 wave series for $25.00 BUT it is in an mp3 format instead of the cds. Would mp3 distort or screw up the hemi sync/binaurel technology in any way you think? Im not very tech saavy. Thanks!

I remember reading how Frank Kepple claimed he used one of Monroes cds which ultimately helped him tremendously to go ob. I cant remember the cd. It was only one and Frank harped on that you must be patient and use it every day. I believe it cost $99 for the one cd. Can anyone remember what that cd is? I figure Xanth would probably remember. Im gonna bite the bullet and purchase the cd. Anyone else have reviews of their experiences with the cd? Thanks!

You should set ur alarm for only 2-3 hours. As it is now your body is getting enough sleep after only 5-6 hours so you cant get into the phase state. Do you ever wake up naturally during the nite to pee or whatever? Those are the best times to try techniques bro. Every time you naturally awake at nite. The 5-6 hour technique is trying to catch your last and longest rem cycle of the nite. It isnt an exact science. It is only trying to remain aware while you are in that drowsy state upon waking. Remain awake and aware while your body goes back to sleep. Then you will experience energy sensations or hypnagogia..... RARELY. But when you do those are the times to phase. Its that simple.

What you describe is actually close to how I achieve most of my projections. What you describe is precisely why I use a ramp timer to gently awaken me periodically. Next time when you wake up in that twilite/hypnapompic state,  instead of fully awakening you should immediately try going back to sleep yet remain aware. I believe you are experiencing theta brainwaves which normally we are asleep during theta brainwaves or close to it. This entire phenomenon seems to lie in the theta brainwave state. Good luck!

I know this could get super deep really quick but it is my belief that there is more to "us" then just consciousness and that consciousness is simply an attribute of the soul. I believe our core beings have aspects that we can only speculate aboit while focused in physical reality unless one is able to merge with his inner senses. Again....my opinion. Is creativity conscious?

I am just beginning to read about dream yoga Lumaza. I dloaded "dream yoga" by Holicek. What is the best book on dream yoga you can recommend?  On another note, i recently had major dental work and have noticed my obes exponentially fade. Bummer. I hope it is only a lull vs. full time. Have you ever heard of dental work interfering with the np? Im convinced the np has an "inner ear" aspect to it so maybe the metals in tooth caps also help or hinder. Thanks man!

So, with my schedule, I use mainly what people refer to as the "Indirect Method".

-Shortly after this I will start to get the sensation of movement hands, feet or head, or a combination. But have not had more than a partial exit. That I am aware of.

I feel it is important to note that in the last 4 – 6 weeks I am able to get a feeling of my hands legs or head moving. Fairly quick into the process, I would say on average 5 – 10 min.

So I am not sure what ells to say but I am sure there are key items I am missing.
Please ask question to get further information and I will answer.

I have been practicing this since October 2016 and I feel as I am missing a small piece of information to make the "light bulb" go off.

On a bright note I do feel more confident getting to where I am now in the process. To clarify this I mean that all the relaxing, counting, visuals, movement, noises (when I hear them). Basically I have gotten comfortable with the sensation I have been getting for the past 2 years.


My advice to you would be to continue your process but actually get as close to sleep as possible without falling asleep. Keep pulling yourself back from sleep before you cross the line and fall asleep. You will obviously eventually fall asleep but with the point being to get as close as possible and monitor for any electrical like sensations or noises. Do this especially upon waking. Upon waking immediately try to go back to sleep but remain consciois. You need to make these intents so you naturally do this every time you awake and/or go to sleep. Most nites nothing will happen. But the nites something does happen makes it all well worth it. Good luck!

I only downloaded the "astral listen with headphones" that has ocean waves and supposedly "theta" inducing binaural beats. My obes dont consist of me becoming lucid during a dream so i didnt get any other tapes besides the "astral" inducing tape. Im curious how often you listen and WHEN ie do you listen before you crash with headphones and fall asleep to the tapes? Or only in your car during the day? Do you listen EVERY day or.....? Three times a day? Please lemme know your precise regime. I listened one time and had one of the clearest obes yet. But again, im not ready to attribute that solely to the tape because my normal pattern is a one month lull then a bunch in a row for a few weeks then back to the lull. Yet it at least seems to be very promising. I laid it on to a friend who is having issues projecting so we ll see how that goes. Thanks man!

Ive been in a lull period for the past month so i figured id give Howells mp3 a try. I listened to the waves while visualising i was on a beach for two hours. Last night i had one of my most vivid obes ever. The vibrancy was incredible. Im not ready to 100% attribute it to Howells mp3 because my normal pattern is having a slow lull month then 2-3 events per week for a few weeks. But at the same time i am definitely gonna continue using and testing the tape. Thanks Fresco!

As soon as you remember that you are attempting to project, immediately relax as much as you can as if you were going back to sleep. Dont worry, you wont fall back to sleep. The excitement of trying to project will keep you from falling asleep. 3. When you are relaxing deeper and deeper after the alarm awoke you listen for any sounds and monitor for any electrical energy sensations. If you notice sounds or energy sensations continue to relax even more. You need to firmly set the intent to "immediately relax" upon hearing your ramp timer so it becomes second nature. Understand? You are getting close bro so remain deligent. It may happen tonite or next week but it will never happen if you give up. Once it does happen and you familiarize yourself with your process it will become easier for you. Good luck!

I have a much higher percentage of having an experience when i am tossing and turning. It seems our bodies are actually still winding down into sleep even though our minds are active. Im curious if you had any energy sensations as you approached hypnagogia or any other times during your experience. Good for you!
