What you have said on the 3rd Aug, is correct (I joined yesterday), The path of Kundalini is the spinal code. But I haven't read anything about any "pain" when Kundalini travels up.
(Even masters in the field of meditation such as Swami Vivekananda and his master Sri Ramakrishna, the popular indian yogi's have not mentioned anything like that in their books).
So, check yourself well, because it is your chest.
