Hi everyone,  most want to do a Fast Hypnotic Induction to reach Somnambulism, Deep Somnambulism or Profound Somnambulism.  If done for the first time a Progressive technique is required which can be about 25 to 30 minutes to reach the first level of Somnambulism.

Once there you can give yourself your KEYWORD to yourself.  Then when you say it to yourself in your mind your eyes will close and you return to that deep relaxed state again in seconds.

Once that is done then yes you can go into hypnosis in seconds not minutes.

If done correctly even with the progressive relaxation which will take from 25 to 30 minutes it would really feel like 5 or 10 minutes if done correctly.

It's how its said, timing, and tone of voice.

bjb to reach Somnambulism it can be reach in less then 3 to 4 seconds using a keyword when given to oneself or to someone else.  When bring a cold subject (a person going into hypnosis for first time) using a progressive relaxation and doing it in the right manor the person can achieve and reach Somnambulism in even 30 t0 40 minutes and to them it would seem like 5 to 10 minutes to achieve it.

Jacque, what sort of hypnotic technique do you use for your eyes?  Let me know and I can help if you like with that.

I'm a Reiki Master also and I do a lot of Long Distance Healing on paltalk chat room's.

I give my subjects and friends a choice of sending their first and last names and a general location just a country or a state but some don't like telling their names to strangers lol, so I tell them that I can use their screen names that they are using at that time.

As I connect with my spirit guides and healing angles and I ask to connect with that person's spirit guides and angles and say I'll be using their screen name as a seragot name for their real name it will reach that person. At the same time connecting with their highest self.

Read your post on astral pulse about hypnosis you have been doing.  I'm a Certified Advanced Hypnotist and yes the techniques of hypnosis are simular to the relaxations for attempting Astral Travel and even doing Psychic Readings.

The majority of hypnotists that are train'd go into Somnambulism and Deep Somnambulism.

The training we went through go's much further or deeper then the normal depths that other hypnotists use.

After Somnambulism and Deep Somnambulism there is the Esdaile State, then the Catatonic State.

The Trigger is also called (KEYWORD) which is give to the subject so they can return to that same deep state in seconds.

Each time they use their KEYWORD and go back into hypnosis they go even deeper then the last time.

HI Donal,

It depends on the depth one reaches during trance levels.  I do hypnosis and while my subjects go into Somnambulism and Deep Somnambulism they can still feel their body in a very relaxed state while their mind more aware.

When I guide them even deeper beyond Deep Somnambulism into the Esdaile State and even further their body seems to disappear meaning
(the feeling of the body is gone completely).

Yes it is a state of hypnosis going down deeper and deeper.  You probably reached a State of Somnambulism or Deep Somnambulism in the Theta State.

A little something about Hypnosis:

When you hear the word hypnosis, you may picture the mysterious hypnotist figure popularized in movies, comic books and television. This ominous, goateed man waves a pocket watch back and forth, guiding his subject into a semi-sleep, zombi-like state. Once hypnotized, the subject is compelled to obey, no matter how strange or immoral the request. Muttering "Yes, master," the subject does the hypnotist's evil bidding.

This popular representation bears little resemblance to actual hypnotism, of course. In fact, modern understanding of hypnosis contradicts this conception on several key points. Subjects in a hypnotic trance are not slaves to their "masters" -- they have absolute free will. And they're not really in a semi-sleep state -- they're actually hyper attentive.

Our understanding of hypnosis has advanced a great deal in the past century, but the phenomenon is still a mystery of sorts. In this article, we'll look at some popular theories of hypnosis and explore the various ways hypnotists put their art to work.
What is Hypnosis?

WHAT IS HYPNOSIS?

People have been pondering and arguing over hypnosis for more than 200 years, but science has yet to fully explain how it actually happens. We see what a person does under hypnosis, but it isn't clear why he or she does it. This puzzle is really a small piece in a much bigger puzzle: how the human mind works. It's unlikely that scientists will arrive at a definitive explanation of the mind in the foreseeable future, so it's a good bet hypnosis will remain something of a mystery as well.

But psychiatrists do understand the general characteristics of hypnosis, and they have some model of how it works. It is a trance state characterized by extreme suggestibility, relaxation and heightened imagination. It's not really like sleep, because the subject is alert the whole time. It is most often compared to daydreaming, or the feeling of "losing yourself" in a book or movie. You are fully conscious, but you tune out most of the stimuli around you. You focus intently on the subject at hand, to the near exclusion of any other thought.

In the everyday trance of a daydream or movie, an imaginary world seems somewhat real to you, in the sense that it fully engages your emotions. Imaginary events can cause real fear, sadness or happiness, and you may even jolt in your seat if you are surprised by something (a monster leaping from the shadows, for example). Some researchers categorize all such trances as forms of self-hypnosis. Milton Erickson, the premier hypnotism expert of the 20th century, contended that people hypnotize themselves on a daily basis. But most psychiatrists focus on the trance state brought on by intentional relaxation and focusing exercises. This deep hypnosis is often compared to the relaxed mental state between wakefulness and sleep.

I did get on Long Distance Attunement from a person in Washington State I'm in New Jersey.

I was a little Leary also but still a little open minded also lol.  I e-mailed him and we discussed the time he was going to send the reiki to me for the attunement.

I sat in chair and hand palms up facing ceiling had my eyes closed and waited at the time he said he would send the attunement.

I started to feel the same sensations during my first attunement.  From the hands (palms getting warm then hot) ( Tingling and a light breeze blowing on my hands)

Basically for me it was all the same feelings and sensations from the first one.

When I send to someone I feel the top of my head getting hot and tingling, then neck shoulders arms and hands.

Souls of feet get hot and tingles and right down my shoulder blades and lower back.

My fingers become stiff and ridged like bars of steel.

I used Reiki at a Karate Tournament,  a practitioner was fighting and the other opponent grab is leg near the knee and did a judo through.

The other guy got a very bad muscle pull from the through.  I reiki'd his hip and side thigh and he felt it instantly and was able to walk on it and pain went away.

When one goes to sleep into Delta there is no dreams when in Theta the dreams ac cure.

When you came out of it and eyes open your in Alpha State or near the beginning of Theta.

In that area your slightly wake and slightly asleep.  One can have hallucinations with their eyes open.

HALLUCINATIONS, NEGATIVE :   When one cannot see an object that does exist.

HALLUCINATIONS, POSITIVE :   When one can see an object that does not exist.

So you where having a Positive Hallucination.  

But in that state also and your mind is much open in that in between state of Sleep and Awake ( clear awareness ) If any entities where there you pick up on them.  

So its up to you to determine which one.

Yes I can send Long Distance Reiki to someone anywhere in the world when we send we ask permission to send and the person first and last name and a general location just a country or a State.

That way it will go to the right person.  My brother was in the Air Force in NC and he met a guy there that had the same first name middle name and last name as me.  

Even his sister and other brothers had the same names as my sister and two brothers lol but they live in other states.  That's way we ask the names and area that the person lives.

One lady gave her name but only said USA no state and it still reached her.

Reiki does put a person into an altered state of consciousness some of my clients also have a partial astral body experience and one had a dual consciousness she felt like she was in her body and out side of it at the same time.  So yes reiki can help with astral travel.

Reiki can be sent to anyone with there permission, they can be anywhere and don't have to be on computer.  I use computer and go on yahoo or paltalk and do reiki on line to a person I'm sending to.  At the same time I'll be in contact with that person and see whats going on at that moment and they in turn can communicate with me as it is happening.  They can ask questions as this is happening also.
