Hi Sampson,

I am sure you will find something that will suit your needs. Spirit or divine providence (whatever label) tends to provide when one opens their heart to the call.

One suggestion would be to setup your own group of like minded people locally and invite a teacher to come along perhaps to do a workshop with you.

Most responsible and respectable mediums in the UK look for no more than expenses (travel costs/overnight accommodation etc) only, as they tend to do their work out of love, any more smacks of greed in my mind!

However respectable full-time professional mediums do tend to charge more, but this should not be a burdensome levy, and often they will donate part of their income from workshops to good causes. Incidentally full time does not imply that they are anymore talented than those demonstrating their gift in their own time – as it's all about service for a greater cause really!

Best,

Stephen [:)]

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. Respect that if you are experiencing this out of body - then it may be something else altogether! I have also had lose of apparent sight in that state as well. I suspect that someone with more experience than myself with Astral work might pick this up differently, but glad my thoughts have helped to reassure you.

It is worth noting that the perception of vision in inner journeying is only the mind interpreting what you perceive with your extended senses, and that you are not actually seeing with physical eyes!

I suspect that Frank (for instance) would say something like 'thought becomes action' whilst OBE! So it may be worth considering using more positive intent if this occurs next time you are out and about exploring. It might help you to clear the veil from your eyes as it were!

Cheers,

Hi Patrik,

Respect that this mask (be it a sensation or something more tangible) can seem unnerving and strange to experience.

Personally (unless you can be very precise that it is attributed to Neg entities with clear evidence that that is the case) I feel this is simply one of two scenarios.

1. It is the sensation of expanded awareness of your own energy body and part of the throat, brow, crown chakra development.

2. It is possibly an ectoplasmic mask covering your face. There is plenty of information available on the net about this. Take time to look up physical mediumship in particular you may find it useful to contact the Noah's Ark society. Try a google for that.

If it helps I have experienced similar to what you have described and it is not something to worry about at all!

If it is an indicator of your potential as a physical medium then spirit would not want you to attempt to move or remove the ectoplasmic mask as this may cause energetic problems for you.

Examples of this are well understood in physical mediumship circles. Injuries can occur including burns and strong sensations in the plexuses especially the solar plexus, which can make one feel exceptional ill (likened to being kicked by a mule)!

I do not suspect that it is neg attributed in your case and recommend that you seek out an experienced medium who will be able to advise you how to manage your development with this type of highly specialised work with spirit. If it is a neg issue (which I doubt), again the experienced medium should be able to advise you accordingly!

In addition deep trance mediums doing physical work of this type can often be out of body (or slightly out of phase) while spirit are manipulating their ectoplasm etc.

On the other hand it may be simply a test in order for you to explore your own understanding of yourself at this time, and may or may not go further than has already done so thus far!

Hope this is of some help for you!

Kind wishes,

Stephen

Hi,

With respect, if you would like a meaningful reply it would be helpful to supply some more background detail please. Such as the circumstances under which you feel this is occuring etc.

Kind regards,

Hi Sampson,

As well as home/closed circle work - the courses I have attended have been very much along the lines of development groups/circles as run in spiritualist churches. In the UK there are a number of respectable organisations running workshops and longer courses which give students opportunity to refine their gifts/talents and seek deeper connection with their own spiritual nature etc.

I understand that a number of UK tutors run workshops in Holland, Italy and Switzerland; however I am not sure about Luxemburg.

Could you tell me about those methods?

I simply applied the mantra aspect of an article read about TM nearly 30 yrs ago. Perhaps I should have been more explicit, and said that it was Mantra use that I found benefit from rather than TM as I have not been taught to use TM. To be fair as I do not want to dig myself into a hole about this subject - I am not really qualified to give a thorough opinion on this with any authority to be honest.
quote:
I don't get it! If Maharishi Mahesh Yogi simpy told everyone about it decades ago, then why would anyone have to swear to secrecy now? And how come that there are millions and milions of people practising it, yet nobody talks about it anywhere. There was even a good book about TM. Methods included. I just don't know the author and not even the name of the book. I just that my grandpa talked about that book, but he's long gone now...
OK – try a google... plenty of info out there both positive and negative. This article is interesting for instance: http://www.suggestibility.org/ or http://www.rickross.com/reference/tm/tm93.html. Obviously you can choose to lookup the  sites supporting TM as well!

Kind wishes,

Hi Katherine,

If you are really having problems that you are beyond being capable of dealing with by yourself - it may be a good idea to contact Nita. Nita is one of the moderators here, but you may find it useful to contact her direct via her web site. http://www.astralhealer.com/ and see in particular her article Removing Negativity http://www.astralhealer.com/index.php?module=PostWrap&page=5

Also take time to study the magical self defence articles on the main site: - www.astralpulse.com or http://www.astralpulse.com/magick/magick.htm

You will be fine, just trust in that!

Hope this helps,

Stephen

I am not surprised you have feeling that it is useless trying to find methods on the net etc.

I have not had a TM initiation, but have had mantra initiations and would assume that TM initiation would not be dissimilar from the experiences I participated in and still enjoy.

However I had read about TM in the 70's and had come across an article where the journalist claimed to describe a process not unlike that which may have been used for TM. I decided to apply the methods described at the time and found them really useful. At the same time I also know people who have had TM initiation and derived benefits from the practice, but from chatting to them I was led to understand that the donation or cost of the process was prohibitively expensive (if anyone knows better do correct me! e.g. if it is means related or not).

The debate about the pros and cons of 'TM' have raged on and off for decades. I can only assume that you will only find the methods via initiation, and suspect that you would be sworn to secrecy about revealing it. Forgive me for leading you down that path of thinking!

I suspect you may find the simple summery article in the link by Octavian Sarbatoare useful - see: http://www.geocities.com/Athens/Olympus/3588/tm.htm

You may find it of benefit to spend a little time researching Initiation and Mantra mediation before handing over hard earned cash to any self proclaimed Guru or organisation, but don't let me hold you back as whatever you choose is of your own free will.

Why not allow to trust that the qualities you yourself have mentioned are already yours already to embrace and enjoy!

Good luck on your path,

All the best,

Stephen

QuoteI'm thinking about buying Robert's new book as I was so impressed with Astral Dynamics.  But I'm wondering how much new material there is, as Astral Dynamics had enormous amounts of stuff to do with stimulating the energy body, exit techniques, etc.

Of course, by this rational, we shouldnt eat anything and the human race should just die out, which is clearly stupid, so how do I answer this one?

Are we not cruel to plants by plucking them and eating them? do we not cause them pain by eating their leaves?

Hi,

Is that not what fruitarians subscribe to? In that they only eat fruits, seeds and nuts and therefore avoid killing plants to be able to sustain themselves! But then I should not speak as a sad auld Ovo-lacto vegetarian!

Cheers,

Stephen

P.S. See www.notmilk.com www.madcoyboy.com for additional reasons not to eat meat or dairy!

Hi,

Personally I think whether one shares their OBEs is a matter of personal choice and responsibility and not something to be dictated by another party about. I have had them since writing about them so why should anyone else not?

Hi NodesOfYesod,

Welcome to the forums.

Not sure I can be of any help here! Although I find it odd that you would allow contact with argumentative entities and that your helper Twinkle would not seem to be able to assist in getting rid of them for you!!!

Anyone else have any suggestions for NodesOfYesod?

Hi,

Welcome to the forum and for pointing out the use of the word Regimes.

I am no expert on the diction and use of the English language, but as far as I understand the UK use of the word (and I assume Australian) would allow for Regimes in this instance. Someone is welcome to correct me if I am wrong on this.

Yes, Leslie Flint was a remarkable pioneer for spiritual truth. It's been a while since I read his autobiography Voices In The Dark! I would strongly recommend it to anyone.
