i'll talk to you about this later xanth

For me it was like riding a bike, as soon as I achieved my first projection I rarely had any problems getting out again.

That was until I had some health problems that prevented me from inducing trance or relaxing enough to project.

I haven't really tried again yet, but I imagine that it won't be too tough to get back too it.

i think atheism and agnosticism are the same.

i don't see how anyone could be alive and not experience at least fleeting moments of unity.

i think diehard atheists are just people disgusted by the old religion and overwhelmed by the apparent brilliance of the new religion (science).

agnostic....that's a weird one.  you believe in something but you won't venture a guess as too what it is.....

WELCOME TO THE CLUB!!

no one truly KNOWS God.  That's the mystery.  That's the fun of it.

But, to answer your question, I'm sure some atheists have turned agnostic from an OBE experience.  I'm also sure some atheists have seen it as a side effect of the mind.

Probably not.  Kurt's work is experimental and much more complicated than what I told you to look up.  If you go to his website, www.mindbasedtechnology.com, you can follow his procedure some.  But you really gotta know what you're doing to make it happen.

That doesn't mean that an orgone generator wouldn't help your energetic development which can't hurt projection.

I think we ought to create an operational definition of desire here.  Attachment to the urge for something is what you seem to be describing.

And I agree that that's what desire means.  I also agree that desire in this sense is a blockage.

But I think it should be clearly distinguished from magickal intent.  Magickal intent may seem like desire, but it's really about moving energy.  The same basic principle is used in energy development.  It's about recreating sensory and emotional energy.

Try to be as uninterested as possible.
#2832
There is still a developmental aspect.  Your projections become more stable and controlled as your practice.  But that's within the astral environment, not the actual getting there bit.

I agree with you.  I think there is a hidden key.

I thought it was an important indicator of a person's "worth" the first time a came to this forum years ago.  But I thought the moderators did it for a long time, so I genuinely thought it was based on punishment, like demerits or something.

Yes.

I just achieved OBE about 2 months or so ago, though I've been researching and practicing for years.

Then recently I had some health issues that forced me to stop projecting for a little while.  Now that I'm feeling better I don't have the same drive to project anymore.  Suddenly I'm more interested in socializing, not so much material concerns per se, but still.

Before, I would practice every chance I got to project.  Lately I've been letting great opportunities pass me by.

This is my theory, so don't hold it as truth.

I think that the RTZ or Etheric is not between the astral and physicality, but rather between the 3rd dimension and 4th.
Projecting here would be an OBE.

The Astral on the other hand is a non-physical space that is akin to the collective unconscious of all existence.  Perhaps "God's Mind" while the physical dimensions are the body.  So going to the astral is like turning your awareness inwards 180 degrees.

If you went to a higher dimension it would still be physical from the perspective of that dimension, though things would be very different I'm sure.  Nevertheless, it would still be in the same "direction" as we view physical reality or the 3rd dimension.

So dimensional travel is an OBE and Astral travel is Astral Projection.  However, both can be achieved by similar means.  It's all about the amount of energy your have and how high you can raise your vibratory frequency.
#2836
Still gonna tell you.

AP and OBE are often considered synonymous.

You could think of AP as a type of OBE.

I think they're different.

AP being an "internal" type of a journey whereas an OBE would be raising the vibrational frequency of one's energy body and moving up in density, i.e. to another dimension.

To me, Christianity is like physical science.  It's a useful tool when used in the proper context.....if you're trying to take over the world that is.

The Christ is an archetypal energy.  It is the embodiment of the transcended being, while it's counterpart, the Luciferian archetypal energy, is the non-physical mystery in reality.  Think of Jesus as our physical life and "Lucifer" as our non-physical life.  Christianity was created to scare us away and keep us entirely focused in our physical lives.

Thank You  :-D

Sorry.

Your post was long.

I was just bored and decided to read it.

I will comment on the content later.

Is anyone else bored today?

Work is slow.

I'm feeling slow.

I'm bored.

Sorry for getting your hopes up.
#2843
yea, if they're going to have system like this then there should be like a required comment section where you have to write why you applauded or smote.

I found a greeting card at the drug store that had a little kitten on it in a frog suit.  I pulled out my phone and went onto AP to show my fiance your avatar.

I mean, Tiny is right in one regard, people care about their karma if they care what people think about them.  But at the same time, I care about everyone's from a more humanistic perspective.  I don't want people to get the wrong impression about the validity of someone's thoughts before they've even read them.  Naturally, we shouldn't judge a book by it's cover, but that doesn't mean we don't do it.
#2846
This is a lame and useless answer in many regards, but you just have to keep doing it.  Over and over.  You have to become either desensitized or you have to develop your focus enough that you can ignore it.
#2847
haha, someone smote me since I posted this.

:-D

Now that that guy has shut up, let's talk about 11:11.

I haven't ever heard 11:11 in a christian context.  Have you ever studied any numerology?

In a numerological sense, 11 is a master number, a number that isn't broken down (in numerology you usually always break down any number greater than 1 digit; 1 + 2 = 3, so instead of 12 you would use 3).

In numerology, 11 is the number of illumination (Jesus is the light) and is highly connected with the 6th sense (intuition).  11 endows a person with tremendous inspiration and the potential of bringing that inspiration to others.  People with an 11 in their numbers (name, birth date, etc.) tend to take an expanded vision out into the world.  It is through 11 that people see the world on a mass level, above ego.  The goal of 11 is to create positive effects on society as a whole.  11 is impersonal, intuitive, cooperative and is concerned with the group effort.

Seems relevant to the idea of the christ.

It's one thing to post about a topic like 11:11 because that is relevant here.

It's another to end a post proselytizing us to your God.

I would like to talk to you about Jesus sometime though.

I do understand the feeling of divine bliss (though not from the perspective of a christian) and I understand when your cup is overflowing with that feeling of connection.  I also understand the need to share it, but that last paragraph isn't necessary here.

Don't be offended by me though, I'm just running my mouth.  I mean no disrespect and I don't want anyone else to feel uneasy either. Do the God talk in the religion section.   :-)

I do wanna say that I think APing is death training.
