  The best way to get rid of a ghost of a relative that demands attention is to talk to it. A herbal remedy to be rid of ghosts is to sprinkle bay leaves and angelica in the corners of a room after you have preyed over it.

  I think that shields are least effective when you are first learning. I also feel everyone should do a simple shield renewal every day. I do mine in the shower. Most shield failures happen because the person doesn't renew them often enough.
  Everyone interprets things differently Ides so that could be why you see things shaped as bugs. It is not a docking structure so much as the things you have left in you. Roberts description of it attaching to the negative elements in your psyche is completely accurate.
  If anything can rattle you around in your wards then you aren't doing it correctly. I speak from experience.  A shield that defends your mental  self, physical self and astral self is the only way to go.
  Engry fluctuations are what normally causes the rfeeling of being rattled. You have to attach the wards to a proper energy source for this not to occur.
  You can entrap and push things out with shields but this requires that you can identify your own energy and what is you. The core image removal is probably the most simple way to do it,

  You are both right in that any energy you use to attack something can be used against you. If you don't want it done to you then you never do it to anyone else should be a magical rule.
  On attacking demons. Anyone that can destroy a demon is not fighting a demon but a thought form. You attract what you put out and sooner or later everything you get around you will be attacking you back.

  Abuse gives a neg a place to attach too.  All the things that she is doing will attract negs and cause you problems.  You can forgive someone for being messed up but you have to ask yourself how much you can take. People like that push others to their breaking point and never care how much havoc they have in their lives.
  The dead giveaway was that she would scoff at you but expects you to do what she wants with graveyards and ghosts. A relationship is a give and take situation. If she can't give you the courtesy back of listening to and trying to enjoy what you want to do then you will have problems as long as you are around her.
  I would forgive her but I wouldn't trash my life over her problems. I would help as much as I could without wrecking my life. People who need help have to be willing to accept the help and do what will cure their problems.

  Robert says I should write a article on shields and I promised myself that I would do it. I have been attacked by conjured entities also. It is in how you power the shields on whether or not it can be shattered.
  You shielded with the diamond shield which I believe can be attributed to the diamond aspect of the buddha. The indestructible vessel .
  Kristen is correct that a lot of times the people who go through these things end up being better people. They know how to have compassion and  once they overtcome their problems are able to be more understanding than others.

  I would say the best way is to  try to see the energy circulating around your hand. First you put your finger in it and try to hear a pitch. You keep trying until your do. You then look at your hand and try to touch the energies and you should hear notes. You then do the two together and you should get a melody of sounds that make up almost a muscial signature. It is your energy signature.
  Another way is to go out of body and touch the energy around you. It should play all of the notes, pitches, and melodies that make up the essential you.
  The third way is to meditatte. You will notice that anything not of you looks and feels differently than the rest of you. You push it out saying this is not me. If you don't know for sure ask for angelic or divine aid to push away something that isn't of you and banish it. You also state that if it is of you please help you to understand this.
  You can clean out your chakras, your energy system, and note anything attaching to you with this system. If you notice something attaching to a point on your energy body then do Robert's core image removal exercise.

  I have had my shields stop a attack by major stuff that most poeple won't experience because I spend my time getting rid of the negs other people can't get rid of or don't know how to get rid of them.
  I never use a shield that will shatter. I use multiple layers of different methods that get nasiter the closer they get to me.
  I visualized the innermost layer being laid together sharpened razor blades that were spinning so quick that it looked solid silver but would cut anything to pieces. I next did one that did dimensional shifts and put things elsewhere in locations that I knew would be unnatural to negs. I then added about 4 other layers. I have had over 30 years of practice doing it though.I do this on my house, my vehicles, my hubby and attach the energy to be supplied by the forces of life and divine forces. It is a very complex and exacting artform and I do enjoy it.
  I have helped many people who started out being very positive loving people that a neg drive them to drugs, drink and hopelessness. The only real cures are knowing yourself and being in control of yourself.
  There are so many things in life that we aren't in control of and never will be able to control. The one thing we can control is how we act and what we do or will not do.  People who are victimized by negs are not  flawed or people who caused it to themselves. Most of the people I have helped have had those they trusted do these things to them. The others had it happen to them because they were the sorts of people that accepted the blame of their actions and let things attach to punish them for being not perfect in some way.  The negs and other people used this to their advantage. Some were just in the wrong place at the wrong time. It has been a real minority of people who were utter screwups or that did things to themselves.

  You have to have a great deal of practice to build a shield that will slow down a major demon. The best thing is to use layers so that by the time it gets through the layers you are able to do something.
  Shielding is good for everyday life. Protecting yourself from negative energies and  minor entities. It is also true that if you know yourself and your energy signature then you can cleanse anything out of your energy that has no intelligence. I like doing it in a swimming pool or water.
  A good shield will not cut you off from anything except negative energy. It has to be combined with other working methods to keep yourself safe. Anything that keeps a entity from attaching to you quickly gives you the time to start banishing it or find some other countermeasure.
  Essential oils help to raise the vibrations in your aura and make it harder for things to attach. Ground herbs that you put on your breast bone will also make it so your vibrations are raised. No one method is a cure all and divine energy will only enrage a entrenched neg unless you know how to unattach it and banish it.
  The best thing is to learn counter measures and how to do things to prevent it from attaching or becoming entrenched in the first place.

  When you go looking for ghosts most of the time you will find them. Roberts books has a lot of methods. If she still keeps scoffing at you and you are worried about her. Get her some handmade soap -spice soap (especially with cloves and cinnamon), rosemary and mint, thyme, are just some of them. There is also a rosemary -mint shampoo made by Aura. Give them to her as a gift and say you like the smell of them.
  Robert lists off some herbs and oils also in his book.  Good oils to keep ghosts away are cypress oil,  and any of the mints.

  I was just interested in getting a good description of shields. Crossing over running water is a type of shield albeit not one personally made. Herbal wards are also a shield including incenses such as sulfur and chilli peppers. Anything would leave after that! I just took the persons opinion as just that and forgot it.
    I figure most of those  opinions will shatter once someone comes up against something that is really negative. I have noticed a lot of people who sound that way don't have as much experience as they want everyone to think they do.  On long entrenched neg problems most of the time it happens because the victim has something negative to attach too. The victim has to change that even after the neg is gone or they may draw in the same problems again.
  The hardest thing to do is to figure out  the what , when and where and apply it to yourself.

  You are right in the fact that shields or wards are what you make of them. It is nice to know that with a little bit of research and practice everything that you care about and love can be protected.
  Anyone else that has more links upon shields could mention them also. If you have trouble visualizing make a model and use saran wrap and a frame to make it where you can energize where you want wards around yourself, your home, your vehicles and anything else you want to protect.

  I likei//www.abardoncompanion.com besides this website. Rawn Clark has a article on shileding in his essays and commentaries. I know that I do multiple layers of shields, that I can pick and chose what I let into my shields, and that I don't use my own energy but a source energy as described in the above article.
  I have had many years of practice with them. I notice no effect upon my aura and anyone can color their energy anything they want too. It will still be the colors that indicate the energy signature under the colored energy. It is just a method of identification or camoflage depending upon how you use it.
  On symbols I have a tendancy to use a sacred symbol if there is very strong activity and have it change color. It also gives extra energy for the shields.

  Energy is what attracts negs and if you work with any forms of energy then it will make you stand out from a bunch of people who don't use energy. The negs go for a higher level of energy and try to subvert the energy by causing negative or very strong emotions.
  It may all just be energy but I can guarantee that learning to sheild is better than thinking nothing can get into your life because it is "just energy." It is not that simple. There is a lot of information on this on this website.

  I see shielding as a way to prevent fights. It can be used to keep out any energy that you do not want in your aura or your space. Anyone that does magic or has psi abilities in any way should learn how to do this. It makes your life easier and also makes it where you don't take a chance on anything harming you.
  I use a circle of energy around my physical self, my mental self and my astral self.  I try to make it vibrate and resonate at a high frequency. I add in any special touches that I want to the intent of the energy. Example-reversal of bad energy, camoflage, confusion etc.) I do this every morning and then go about my day.

  I have a few differences with what you should do with a portal. You do not stand in front of a portal. You do not put your hands on the energy. It takes more than raised vibrations to close it. Reiki is not a cure all for anything like this.
  You stand to the side of the portal. You Do this because you don't want to get sucked through or attacked by something out of a portal. You mentally loop it back upon itself. You then close off the other end after you have banished and driven anything inside the tunnel that connects to the gateway back to the other side. You then collapse the gateway take the other end of the connecting tunnel and move it to a high vibrational energy signature that is of the divine force.
  You change the vibrational pattern of where it was connected and make it so the energy signature is no longer the same. You have the people learn how to shield themselves, their homes, their vechicles, and any other place where the energies might find them again. They also have to clear themselves with affirmations or other forms of energy release methods to make sure they do not bring it back if they are the ones that did it.
  No one method ever works. It always takes a combination of methods to remove the problems. I know for a fact that Reiki does not make it where evil forces can not find the people. I have had to help to many people who knew reiki to think otherwise.

  Anything that connects to divine forces has a higher vibration pattern. The higher vibrations drive away things that are of a lower vibration most of the time. The conclusive test is for the whole energy signautre to be a high vibration, high pitch, bright pleasant colors, and a pretty musical medley of notes describing the inner being.
  Sheilds are very important and there are articles teaching how to do them upon this website.

  You are right about different enities giving off different frequencies. Everything has a energy signature. You can tell by its effects on the body by a lot of these.
  Real demons are not destroyed by anyone or anything. You just destroy the energy that holds them here. You may see things only at the levels you described but I do know that what I say is correct because I have seen them at multiple levels. I also have seen the gateways they come from and where they go.
  You are picking up part of the signal but not all of it. You'll find this out if you keep working on it.

  You are talking about the faith energy. People shape these things according to their beliefs. Two different people can see two different things even when they are looking at the same time if that is all they judge it by.
  All of these entites are made of layers of energy like peeling back a onion. Angels are shaped by beliefs but their basic energy can survive in this place without aid. They use the belief system to be a comfort to the person needing help.
  Demons are made of different energy that is inimical and negative to this plane when you see the different layers. What appears here  that is visible is our shaping and energy that they use to exist. They are not made of the same stuff as we are nor do they affect our matter the same way. Demons being around too  long can cause cancer, blood illness's, and auto immune illness's by their very nature.
  You are just looking at the visible layers and not the rest of what makes them up.
