Yes some excellent stories those rescue's & I,m sure that so many
people will be in for a shock,well then again we can go back to the
old saying "Ignorance is bliss!" & realize as well that because they
never pursued any worthwhile activities during life or had this
attitude some friends of mine have "Man,when you die,thats it,
no heaven or paradise,game over" & I,m going to give them a real
surprise when I drop into their belief system of "I,ll just pretty
much stay in this house forever & relive old memories".Thats
presuming they will need rescuing & family wont do it before me,but
I figure it can't hurt to drop in & pay a visit.
I feel incredibly lucky that for some reason the body I occupy has
an insatiable urge for knowledge & to experience as much as possible.
Everyone else in here obviously fits that category as well simply by
being on this site & asking questions,so many people get so hung up
on asking about something they really want to know because
something in their ego says "I should somehow know that" or
"If I ask a question,everyone will look at me & laugh even if they
dont know the answers themselves" so I better say nothing,that way I
will look cool.
Sounds like you had as mobile a life as I did as a kid Daniel.My
parents divorced when I was 3 & we moved around heaps to keep away
from him.My Mother re-married when I was about 7 to a Paramedic & we
lived on top of Ambulance stations & various houses.The fact that my
Step-father kept getting transfered meant that I went to about 7
different schools in N.S.W.
One thing I really learnt after changing lots of schools & having to
go through the "New kid in town" syndrome,fights,alienation,name
calling etc. was you dont get any points for holding back.
You get in & make it happen!If you sit back hoping someone will say
"Oh look,that kid isnt getting as much of a chance as everyone else",
so if I become submissive & dont go after it,the laws of fairness will
prevail & someone will make sure I get my turn.
Unfortunately it doesn't work like that & there will more often than
not be cases where nobody really cares if you get what you want/need
or not.

Yes that certainly seems to be the case doesn't it Daniel.From what
I have gathered from my own experiences,books,web sites etc. is that
the more you do it,or the sooner you realize certain aspects of an
OBE & lucid dream the sooner you can go to other places &
accomplish other things.
While I have a fair bit of experience in this now I realize that
I am an apprentice/undergraduate compared with some peoples
understanding while they are in those states.One thing that is talked
about on another forum I,m on that is mostly experienced people is
"Retrievals" which basically amounts to non physical rescue work.
Where the OBE,er is so concious of what they are doing & can do & know
where they can go to the point of finding lost souls & people who
are just hanging around not knowing what to do or where to go.
On one hand a skeptic could say "well where is the proof? the names
of people you have rescued e.g from the WTC" I,m not sure how many
if any where verified.
On the other hand,knowing some of the things possible while OBE,ing
I dont rule out that this is possible,it just looks like we need to
work out if 1)There is any truth to the matter by matching up names.
2)Work out if it is happening & the names are wrong,try find out if
the victims might be going under a previous life name or are so
confused as to misinterpret the question or they are sending out
thoughts of someone else.

Anyway it looks like we have lots to learn & what there is to learn
is neverending,so there is plenty of work to do.

Hey Frank,I have done some of this myself & have heard people in
other forums mention that they have stated confronting people &
asking them,"who are you?" "What do you call this place?"
"whats going on in here?" & have met with blank stares or
statements that didn,t make sense.You wonder how much effect physical
beings have on the non physical world & what the rules are?
As in what is talked about in moving a physical being back in time &
killing their Grandfather or something & so making themselves non
existant.I have heard that there is no rules when it comes to your
etheric/astral body but there certainly does seem to be laws to obey
if not rules.
Sounded like a great adventure anyway & you gained another lesson
learnt,good stuff.

Yes,from what I,ve seen from the last 2 posts,I would have to mostly
agree.Two key words Nightflier wrote was "Exhausted" & "Heavy".
If you have not been in this very relaxed state & are not familiar
with the feeling,you are not sure what to look for.What Frank said
at the end about having knowledge of heaps of different techniques
"can" be a problem.Over saturation of information can lead to
indecision as to "which technique is right for me?".
So some basics are along the lines of Nightflier advice,if you are at
a desk job or in school/studies all day your mind is tired but your
body has barely been used at all,so do lots of excercise or go for a
run.When your body is ready to have a good rest,lay down or sit down
& look for the signs that your body feels "Heavy".If you are to the
point you realize your body is heavier than usual(even though its not)
you will be at the doorstep of OBE,ville.

Despite the cost of living,have you noticed how it remains so popular?

Hi Dj,I wish I could have had Robert Bruces,Robert Monroe or Bruce
Moen books from my ages 6 to 16 (not that I would have understood much
at 6 to 10)as I would not have wasted so many OBE,s by
scrambling back to my body every time I dropped out.
I believe its good to have all the life tools available to you,for
working out your physical & non physical life experiences.

I just got lost in thought.It was unfamiliar territory.

Hi all & g,day Jo,sorry I,m not that original,I have been collecting
proverbs & wise words spoken for years & when friends send me emails
with proverbs or just good sayings I print them out.One day I,ll
end up with a book just on proverbs.Those ones I,ve been putting in
lately are obviously chinese proverbs,but none of this stuff has
been referenced,so I dont put an author next to those ones.I
love the ones in the various bibles as well & must admit is the
only section I read regularly as anyone really could have said these
things & they are just life experiences that nearly every human
understands at some time in their life.
I like comedy as well & believe its such a valuable resource on our
planet & try to remind myself & others not to take life too
seriously.

I,ve lost the address for the others,but when you email or ring they

I just really cant believe how much R.B has put up for free,great
information on his training guides section & treatise.A good move I
believe,people can up front get a sample of what he is working with &
decide if that makes sense enough to but the book.It actually came
to it the other way around,a friend loaned me the book,then I found
out about the site & ended up here!Very open & honest work he has
done here.

Hi Daniel, yes best to get everyones opinion I think.The only other
slightly bad rap I have heard on Monroe was by D.Scott Rogo.
He said that Monroe undoubtably had a lot of success but his
Hemi-Sync tapes might not work for everyone.I began as very skeptical
towards his method but tried out one of his cheaper tapes to begin
with,to test the water.Well I can say for sure that they work for me &
I never distrusted it again,a physical trance/completely relaxed
within about 2 to 3 mins.An OBE from that point is optional & I
listen to at least one tape every day,even my girlfriend has begun to
fight me for the walkman.I ignore all his terminology & focus on the
the things I know.

On the UFO topic,I have heard all sorts of debates on this subject
& believe 90% of sightings are hoaxes,9% are planes/balloons/clouds &
sattalites with 1% being a real sighting with a 3D physical craft.
I have heard people say that if they do exist,they are from a
different dimension or they are multi-dimentional & so you cant see
them anyway & there was no Roswell & there is nothing at Area 51.
On the last 2 maybe they are right but them only being invisible I
dont think so,it doesn,t make sense.Its just going back to the
arrogant assertion we humans have that there is no life but us & the
universe revolves around us.It wasn,t so long ago that scientists &
religous heirarchy scoffed when told that the earth could revolve
around the sun & not the sun & all the planets orbiting around us
great omniscient beings, how dare he/they suggest we are not the
centre of attention & God looks like us & just spends all day
worrying about us.
I will try to track down info on books/sites about "accurate"
encounters.Not just posts I,ve seen on some site where someone
reported "ah....I just spotted a UFO,its nighttime & its heading
north & seems to be in a triangular shape from the 2 blinking lights
I can see on its wings...& theres one on the front too!" Quantas
must have been doing new flights over central Australia I think!

G,day all, since I dont pray or kneel(bad knees)I can only state my
medical opinion(not that I,m a doctor)dont you guys get sore knees?
I see old carpet layers/tilers/pavers & concretors who make their
livings working on their knees or squatting & most have "bad knees".
So surely it would have some sort of impact on your knees wouldn,t
it?I dont know,anyone from a muslim background that prays 5 times a day in this forum?How are their older peoples knees?I,m interested.

Another possibility is that by having your hands in certain
positions while thinking certain things activates,energy,s in your
body?

No worries mate,glad I could be of some help & good to see you kept
asking questions to things that didnt sit right with you or didnt have a logical explanation for.I too got sucked in on past occasions with different organizations & found myself submitting just to fit in or agreeing just because they said so.I soon realized how limiting
it was for me to have one version/view of something.
I think we all need to analyse what we get told & think of both
extremes;on one hand there is a possibility those things were the
work of an entity at some stage,but probably a remote chance.
On the other extreme you start looking at more physical/medical/psychological knowledge available & see if those
symptoms apply to you.
What great dreams & signs your subconcious has been showing you &
you are lucky they are so vivid & scratch at your waking mind.

Helmut I am sorry for what I earlier posted,I have never put much
time into looking at Don De Gracia or his work & I later thought
to myself that was a silly thing to write,I know nothing of his
background/techniques or experiences so for all I know he could be
the Nikola Tesla of the OBE community & I have missed an
opportunity to greatly further myself.I,ll make a note to myself to
read up on his works until I know better,thanks Helmut.

whooshing sounds or wind passing (in their ears)just before an OBE,but it doesnt seem to happen to everyone,as I dont,but many do,so you might have to scan back through the pages to find earlier threads on this subject.

Well the word "separation" is a pretty accurate account of what
things feel like.I,m not sure why a lot of writers fall into this
trap of making it sound like your trying to learn rocket science,it
just doesn,t need to be that complicated & I think R.B does a good
job in making things understandable for everyone & not just Shamans &

G,day Adrian,I did not think of that(giant fossilized oil reserves)
in Antarctica,but when you think about it,it makes a lot of sense.
I watched most of that walking with dinosaurs program on T.V but
must have missed that episode with Australia.I will buy the set
when I get the chance as its worthwhile having.Very interesting
about the migration patterns,like birds & whales eh?
The thing I find mysterious about that Piri Reis map is that when
the map was supposed to have been made Antarctica was covered in ice!
so he must have copied his map off an earlier one,but who? & how
far back would they have had to go to see flowing rivers on
Antarctica.Interesting sites have recently been discovered in Gympie
Q.L.D,Australia of what looks like quarries,mines & small settlements
by ancient Phonecians & Egyptians.So it appears the ancients had
navigated & mapped our globe completely at some stage,but
chronometers & Sextants were not invented until recently in our
history,so I wonder how they navigated the oceans?ancient GPS?

Jason,I,ve heard of literally 20 or 30 locations on earth that
people from time to time have sworn that its located there.
We still have not got any archeological evidence to suggest it is in
the Arctic,Antarctica,Altlantic ocean,off of Greece,off from
South America & numerous others as far as I know,we might soon!
But it could be myth too,so I wont hold my breath until I see a
stone saying "made in Altlantis".

Hi all,I cant verify any of this & I would also like to hear what jason has to say about the arctic,but here is some of the stories
I,ve heard about the Arctic & Antarctica,the north & south poles.
1)The Arctic & Antarctica are the 2 major centres of the most
powerful magnetic fields on our planet,which I,m sure can be
utilised somehow.
2)The Piri Reis map of 1500 & something depicted Antarctica with
very little ice & showed rivers & land marks & it was not supposed
to be have been mapped or thought to have anyone gone there until the
late 1800,s.
3)Rumours that Antarctica was one of the hundreds of sites suggested
to be Atlantis.
4)During WW2 the Nazi,s were discovered setting up a base in
Antarctica & were testing new weapons & technology & a mad scramble
by the Allies followed to ensure the Nazi,s didnt get a foot hold
done there & they did.
5)It has also been rumoured that a form of Stargate could be there,
maybe not a physical one,but one based on unseen energy,s.
6)In the year 2000 two woman set out to reach the south pole,a few
days into the journey they used a sattalite phone to report
"something unusual out here",they were missing for a long time & I,m
still not sure if they have been found.

So I would love to hear what Jason has heard,cmon tell us.
