That was fascinating. :-)

It sounds like you progressed very quickly and in the opposite of most. By that, I just mean that it is much more common for people to astral project first and then become aware of a wider reality, whereas, you saw spirits first.

It sounds like everything has worked out great for you so far.

I just have one question. Why do you let them "possess" you physically to show you things when they can just as easily teach you the same lessons while you are astral projecting?

I look forward to reading some more of your posts. :-)

"Little dreams" are a great sign.

You're consciously ending the dreams become you want to become aware in the exact same state, however beginners often wake themselves physically as well as consciously. It's a tight rope act at first but this is where your commitment will prove handy.

This is also why meditation is so important. If you can only reach these "little dreams" while you're really sleepy, you will fall asleep most of the time. You will also have brief OOBEs that are just enough to make you question if it was a dream or the real deal. The answer is that they are ALWAYS the real deal.

Meditate, use affirmations, and celebrate your little dreams.

So ,why are some of us waking up to this in the Physical, while others aren't? The people that are learning to AP consciously aware are a very minute part of the populace.

Are we getting a "jump start" on the others? Do we, for some reason need to see this now, possibly because we missed something in our last transition?

As I have already seen, there is a purpose for everything that happens. I believe and have been shown that we are being trained to be the new Guards/Teachers per say, in the changing of the Guards.

We see how every generation here changes. With that change comes new technology and teachings. There must be a changing of the Guard there as well. It would have to keep up on the status quo as well.

We see today, very evident, that we can't teach people like we did 100 years ago, for that fact, even 20 years ago. Things constantly change here, they must there as well. Consciousness evolves and the Guards/Teachers would have to evolve with it.

This obviously is just my opinion. But I have been told this many times as well. This is one of things I am allowed to say, so I didn't break any rules on this one.

Just to add one last thing to this. On a Facebook group, there was a girl named Destynee that came up with a plan to help others learn to AP by matching them up with teachers/mentors that could. She stated the importance of "serious people" only.
5 of the Moderators, including myself agreed to be teachers. Not one of those students panned out. We gave them a bit of work to do and they fled. This occurred with all the other 5 Teacher/students on that group as well. They all left for one reason or the other, my student because of Health concerns, a couple of them just wanted a "pen pal". But, not one of them panned out, even though each of them stated their willingness to learn.

To know is one thing, to do is another, and to do with no judgment and no concern for self is another as well.

I am not at a level where I am able to practice what I know is right.
However, to become aware is the first step and even then, the waking up process can take years.

Thanks so much, AZ, for taking the time to explain all of that.  My own experiences have never gone as far as to show me 'behind the scenes' of morality.  I do know some people that hold that belief that good and evil are subjective and it has always bothered me that they don't seem to have a well formed conscience.  Anything goes, and they do not take responsibility for their actions.  Ah well, I guess people hold that belief  for different reasons.  You do and you obviously have a working conscience.  Interesting stuff!  I try to keep an open mind. :)

I had to specifically "ask" for that particular experience and got more than  I bargained for.

Unfortunately, to know what "evil" is, we don't have to look any further than man.

IMO, we will not evolve into unconditional loving souls while in a physical state. We are "here" to have the experiences and then later with the combined knowledge of all of our past lives, we will come to this understanding while we are in a NP state or not. I'm sure you probably have a name for those who do not.

Welcome to Astral Chat! / Re: The missing chopstick

Hi Chops.

I read your thread the first day you posted it but I was at a loss for words and I knew that there was nothing that I could say that would cheer you up.

Just know that I understand how you feel because I like you, I love my pets like I do people. I know that this is little comfort but I believe your last puppy is alive and is doing good. I think some a-hole  :x found it and took it home, a loving home. This is usually the case when sniffer dogs lose the scent. I know that it isn't fair and your heart is still broken  but at least you don't have to worry that something bad has happened to him.

Remember that we are always here for you. :-) :-) :-)

Of course you did not offend me and once again I did not make myself clear. Understand that this is how I have come to see it and I do not expect nor do I want to convert anyone into my way of thinking.

QuoteI'm wondering.  Do you mean that a good hearted person in this life could literally 'sign up' to be a child murderer in their next life in order to do their part in helping someone to learn unconditional love?  It seems right to me that once a person has learned some empathy in this life and has rejected hate that they would never purposefully go backwards and commit a hateful act in the next life.

From what I have experienced and seen while OOB, souls view physical life much different there, especially advanced souls. They know that death is just an illusion and that it takes many different experiences to evolve towards unconditional love.

I know that it seems counter to a soul/spirit/consciousness (I'm gonna go with soul just because it is the shortest to spell, call me lazy) that is evolving into a being of love to become a murderer in their next reincarnation. They do not see this as going backwards, they see this as an act of love.

I will use a couple of cheesy examples.

Imagine if you will, a bunch of good souls hanging around and then they get the word that they need someone to reincarnate as a serial killer. Of course no advanced soul would want to do such a thing but say one steps up to the plate to spare the other good souls from having to be the one.

In a scenario such as this, they are making a huge sacrifice to spare the others from having to do such horrible things. Their higher self is making the agreement so that others are spared having to do so. Can you imagine how hard it would be for a very kind and loving soul to agree to such a life?

Naturally, once they have reincarnated, they have no knowledge that it is their destiny to destroy the lives of many people and grow up to be the piece of crap that goes on to do such horrible things.

QuoteI agree that we're all here to learn unconditional love, but aren't there already tons of people here that play the 'bad guy' simply because they had bad lives here, hate rubbed off on them from others, and they made bad choices?

However, there are so many wildcards at work with free will being the biggest of them all, that they may not turn into that person and instead lead a completely opposite life. But as we all already know, there will always be someone that is willing to harm others. Some of these "bad" guys may have originally "signed up" to cure cancer or become the next MLK but because of their free will and the free will of others, their plans may change drastically.

QuoteFor people to deliberately choose to play that part when they KNOW it's wrong seems to take right vs. wrong to a whole new very disturbing level to me.

What we call right and wrong, good and evil, are subjective terms. Incarnate souls have a completely different perspective on such things.

I also did not mean to make it sound as if losing your child will help you to immediately learn how to love unconditionally and it certainly isn't a necessary experience to have in order to evolve. It is just one of many lessons or experiences that a person will have to learn or endure in one lifetime. However, after many lifetimes, these experiences add up for the higher self to see things differently and become less judgmental.

As I said in my previous post, I do not pretend to understand how all this works. It's impossible to understand this all from a physical perspective.

I have had several OOBE that have shaped my beliefs but I had one in particular that shook me up badly. I was shown how I was a slave trader and owner in a past life. I was a rapist in another. I really do not like to admit such things because even though the "I" that I am to day did not do these things, I still feel some guilt because of that.

Since I do still feel the weight of these previous lives that I saw, you have to understand how real the experience felt when it was shown to me. It was an OOBE that played out like "A Christmas Carol", where I was shown the ghosts of a few of my past lives.

I know some people are reluctant to accept that their OOBE are true but I am not one of them. I have seen too much that to not believe is crazier than to believe.

I hope that I answered your questions and please reject anything that I have said as being true if it does not sit well with you. You must rely on what you have personally seen in your own experiences.

QuoteA while ago I tried this with someone I was interested in and did what I had to do to try to get into "the right path" of this reality. I seemed to get real close to this reailty a couple of times but I just can't get there. Are some things just not ment to be?

Are you talking about using a spell or some ritual to force someone to be attracted to you?

If so this is a violation of their free will and it never works out well.

Not to mention, I personally find it abhorrent and a sign of weakness.

I apologize if I misunderstood you though.

Since I've found out much about other dimensions and of things that isn't relevant in this World wouldn't my mission on Earth be almost done?
If so, if I killed myself would I keep my coinsiousness of this life and be able to not come back to Earth to relearn something?

Many people believe, as do I, that our main purpose as consciousness is to learn how to love unconditionally. I know that sounds hokey like some new age hippy crap but it makes sense to me. The concept goes much deeper than that and I don't pretend to understand it all or much of it for that matter.

To truly love unconditionally means you don't have to forgive someone because you never held any contempt against them in the first place. It means not judging other people or wanting revenge or seeking justice. This doesn't mean that we should just let murderers and rapists roam free in society as we do need order civility to enjoy life as well.

Can you imagine how many lifetimes, human or otherwise, that it would take to learn that. It doesn't even seem possible to forgive a child murderer, much less love them.

To me, karma is playing your part in helping others learn the lessons that it takes to reach unconditional love. This means that you may lose your child to a murderer in this lifetime and in the next, you are the child murderer. I'm sorry to be using such an extreme example and I pray that no one is reading this that has had to deal with any issue like this.

In order to evolve, someone has to be the bad guy. That's just the way it is.

If my belief is anywhere close to being true than that means I still have many reincarnations to go because I would personally love to rip the heart out of a child murderer.

No good person wants to think that they are capable of doing horrible things in this lifetime or any other but if the some of the lessons that I have learned while OOB are true, than that's just the way it is.

Again, I apologize for my extreme examples and hope that no one reading this has had to suffer anything like I mentioned. :-)

I'm confused. Was this a retrieval in the normal sense or was it just a punk kid that needed to know what was up?

I suppose if you changed his attitude than you did him a great service because punks tend to only stay static or worse they devolve.

Though I certainly understand the curiosity involved, for me there is a huge barrier so I never pay this subject too much thought. My physical arousal is always enough to wake me up and this is an annoying thing to deal with at two in the morning.

I know it sounds crude but I'm just being honest.

You may have been in his realm but his realm was also occupying your personal space. IMO, He deserved no apology. I am usually the first to acknowledge when I have crossed a line but when this thug tried to intimidate you, you should have told him to take a hike.

These type feed off of our fear and negative emotions so try not to let him get the better of you next time. :-)

When I feel that someone is genuine in the beliefs and methods that they are promoting even when they run completely counter to my own, I agree with what Xanth says and say live and let live.

It's just that I do not believe him to be genuine so i would be doing a personal disservice to myself to not say so.

I admit that I have not read back to the ancient beliefs on astral travel but nothing this guys says about being touched and dying seems to be a belief held by anyone that I am aware of.

Again, I think it is a marketing ploy to get you to buy his programs so that you can safely navigate you way through the astral which is apparently a very dangerous place according to this one statement made by Jones.
#338
Also, I am completely on the same page with Volgerle and am a bit confused by Xanth's comments.

Welcome.

Being a newbie to the forum doesn't mean that you don't have some significant insights so please feel free to share them. Even if they run counter to the conventional thinking here, as this is what leads to new thinking and new paradigms.
#340
IMO, you are already a veteran of the astral, aka, non physical reality. All of the experiences you have described are indicative of someone who just is not sure of what is happening.

I think that if you decide to accept the reality of what is happening that you will start to see things much clearer.

It's a scary step to admit this to one's self. It's as if we will become instantly crazy for admitting such things as true. When the truth is that you will see things in such a clarity that you will kick yourself in the rear for not accepting things sooner.

You're, there/here. Welcome.

QuoteYou say this and that about how there are dark forces there and everything you say has to be comparable to life on this plane where we are s"alive" And have physical bodies.  My point being people are a_holes here and they are just as big of a_holes here.  So yeah I don't worry about whether "they" welcome me or not.

It wasn't fair of me to say dark forces because I do not see them as such. It's just hard to come up with a word for something that doesn't have your best interests at heart.

I suppose a$$hole is as good as any.

And when I talk about being welcomed, I am only referring to external consideration, something I am often guilty of. For some reason, I am concerned with the comfort of others and take that into consideration.

So while I understand your disregard for whether or not you are welcomed I would hope you could understand my regard for the considerations that I have for the"lands" that I am not welcomed in. :-)

Understand that I am not saying you are not a considerate person but in my travels, I have learned that it is always a good thing to take the feelings of the locals into consideration. No harm will come to you though if you don't.

And please don't take any of this as an argument of any sort. You are very experienced and we need more new members like you.

We all come from different backgrounds and belief systems and so long as we are keeping an open mind, our beliefs should be evolving with the new data gained from new experiences.

And when I asked if you were able to deliver messages, I was not implying that I wanted you to deliver one for me as I am more than capable of doing this myself. I was just wondering if you were interested in doing retrievals as this is a useful tool. Your expertise led me to believe that you would be great in this area.

From my experience, any "land of the dead" that carry on as they were living a normal earthly existence is suggestive that they have not moved on.

I still have no idea as to what you mean by every one dying after 100ad are all gong to your land of the dead though as this is in direct conflict to my personal experience. However, it is very beneficial to discuss such matters with out any condescending tones. :-)

I'm not to worried about if I am welcome there.  I go there.  I saw Elvis Presley.  I never talked to him though.  I mean it was a coincidental meeting.  and i go to my dads house sometimes. . . hes dead too.  I haven't visited him though in a while.  He got remarried after he died.  Yeah you guys are there too.  When you astrally sleep walk. sometimes I see people who are dreaming.  Usually there eyes are closed.  I don't touch them i once did and she freaked out on me. It was just a friend I go to school with.  People aren't so separated as you think.

From your post it is quite obvious that you are welcomed in your "land of the dead". But I think that if you choose to start exploring other "lands", you will most assuredly come across a few where the locals are not too hospitable to the visitors there.

Their responses will vary and escalate if you choose to ignore their feelings. Usually they will just give you a polite warning after a nice dinner or glass of delicious water.

They rarely threatened people with physical harm since the vets understand that this is not possible but they have their ways of being convincing. If you get an opportunity to dig deeper, you will find that there is dark force behind their actions and they are actually just looking out for you.

In these cases, a retrieval is what's needed but Szaxx is the only resident remember that I know of that can handle those on such a large scale though Lionheart seems to be getting their as well.

Are you capable of finding people there and delivering messages?
#345
I agree with Volgerle on this one. There are so many different "lands of the dead" and I think you must have a strong connection to this particular one.

I enjoy meeting new people and visiting their world but I never over stay my welcome because they are just trying to get on with their lives as we are here.

Understand that I'm not trying to imply that you are imposing on the people there, as it's quite clear that you are very welcomed there.

Besides, they have ways of keeping you out if they wish.

There are plenty of people her with vast amounts of projecting and I'm approaching 14 years myself.

Szaxx speaks often of the place that he refers to as the "bad lands" but I'm not sure if you two are on the same page.

I have encountered deceased people on many occasion but I wouldn't;t say that I met them in the "land of the dead."

I'm certainly not avoiding them and I always try to help them "cross over" when I do.

What exactly do you do when you are thee?
#348
This is actually a catch 22 for most men.

There is no better mental rundown for man to do than to imagine a sexual fantasy. We are pros at this and we skip very little details in our scenarios.

The drawback is that it leaves us with a very physical "problem" and this usually keeps us grounded in the physical if you catch my drift.

It seems their is a great movement to destroy all of history that does not conform to the current mainstream beliefs.

"History is the lie most commonly agreed upon"

It was shocking as well to see how in china the government plants trees on the old pyramids there to hide and destroy them.  I do hope that mankind is sufficiently advanced enough that by the time we are able to explore the vast frozen antarctic continent that anything we find there will be shared with all.

If history is any indication, then I doubt it. :-D

Like I said before, I don't usually use an "exiting" technique. I prefer to just "be" where ever it is I want to be or need to be.

With that said, "exiting" techniques can lead to false awakenings. You will find that as you try to roll or sway out that you may end up on the floor and when you do, you will think that you physically rolled out.

You will feel the floor and bump into anything that is supposed to physically be there. In "reality", you have made a successful "exit" but the realness of it all will convince you that you just rolled off the bed.

This will lead to a cycle of successful exits and subsequent start overs for some people believing they have failed.

It can be frustrating but it is also beneficial because once you realize that this is occurring, you will eventually decide to not get back in bed and before you even realize it, you're "there".

Of course, the shock of being there will propel you straight back to bed but it's a start. :-D
