Hi Adam,

quote:
the old soul theory is when someone or something dies and there spirits start to go to heaven or hell it gets lost on the way and joins a newborns soul. I am a old soul. I was wondering if chakras can stay open from one life to another?
I doubt mine are but Im working on it
Not sure if you are simply making tongue in cheek comments here, but that is one of the strangest spins (pardon the pun) on reincarnation and chakra theory I've heard as yet! Do you mind me asking what your source material on that was?

Regards,

Hi Rastus,

Good points and thx for sharing.

Although is it as simple as delineating this debate to the influence nature or nurture for this issue?

Cheers,

Ladies and gentlemen,

This thread seems to have degenerated into something completely off the subject originally mooted: 'Ouija boards plain fun or more than a game?

Can I advise you to take these tired old goats elsewhere please!

Thank you,

Hi Santa,

I do not know what age you are, but assume you are on the younger side of 20.

As your issues appear to be very serious you should contact one of the confidential help lines in the uk a.s.a.p.

This link will give you all the main agencies http://www.patient.co.uk/showdoc/92/

If you are a young person 'Childline' is probably as good a place to start as any!

In the mean time I have put you on my healing list.

Hope this is of some help.

Hi,

Similar experiences have been covered in a nunber of threads before e.g. Sound Pitch Change see: -
http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=13994

Do have a look through them or try a search (appreciated it does not always function very well).

Cheers,

Stephen

I found this website while recently looking for info on obe/ap.  I have been reading the forums over the last week and love the freedom of being able to talk about this subject without worry.  I have noticed how nice and supportive everyone is on this board.

Never had an actual obe/ap but am close.  My brother has had them in the past.

Hi Will,

Thank you for introducing yourself and good luck with you OBE/AP objectives.

Wishing you a warm welcome,

Stephen

I have worked with computers for a good decade including a massive data centre, and IT operations rooms. So would agree with the draining effect of working with electrical equipment etc.

Also worth considering other factors – look up 'sick building syndrome' for instance. Good lighting is a significant! I enjoyed shift work for 3 yrs in a window less room, and was beset by all sorts of stress like conditions and correspondingly found myself extremely run down after a time!

Visit you employer's Health and Safety officer for advice. For instance in the UK employers have a statutory obligation with respect to Health and Safety including office ergonomics and workstations etc. There is plenty on the net and no doubt similar legal conditions exist in the USA!

Microsoft's UK arm has some good info see: http://www.bcentral.co.uk/issues/administration/peoplemanagement/faqpeoplemanagement.mspx

I now use home/office setup and ensure my VDU and seating are as good as can be! A fully adjustable swivel chair makes an incredible difference, including the position in which you seat yourself! With respect to lighting good ambient is best! To suppliment this I I use Full Spectrum daylight desk lamp near the workstation. This has been a blessed relief and I find that I do not suffer eyestrain or get as tired as I used to! If you are still using a CRT monitor ensure the refresh rate is set as high as possible without interlacing. No doubt there is a office PC guru who can help you out with this!

Howevr I would not discount trying a bit of Space Clearing or office Feng Shui [;)]

All the best,

Stephen

Hi Sarah,

Here goes [:)]

Earlier today I saw a grail like golden cup, but this felt  associated with something else I was exploring. Although I did see a small bright box room, plainly decorated, with white built in cupboards, walls, bed covers and curtains. Appreciate this diverges a little!

Moving forward I sat again and although not seeing everything in terms of images on your table the following came into my mind: -

A comb, which then developed into the idea of a letter opener as it was followed by a sealed envelope. The next thing was butter and as I questioned what this might signify the word 'gold' came in, and I briefly saw a golden box with a curved lid. It looked like a small to medium sized keep sake box with jewels or stones on the outside,  quite highly decorated and seemed to have value attached to it!

I'll laugh my head off if these hit anywhere near to the mark! [;)]

P.S. Almost forgot - also got the idea of a snail for some reason, however bizzare!

Hi Nagul,

Hope you are keeping well?

Probably very true indeed... [;)]

For any one interested - here is a link to a site on English Martial Arts, see Terry Brown's site: http://www.maisters.demon.co.uk/ also has links including various other European styles: http://www.maisters.demon.co.uk/links.htm

I only know Terry on a social basis and not for in a couple of years now. Understand he is also a great healer!

You know what I find funny about this is when I was about 11 yrs old... I asked one the the nuns at school 'why is the host thing not made of bread?'... Quietly Sister Mary Whatsit whispered in my ear 'we make them, and the ones we prepare are made of rice...plz in the name of sweet Jesus, Mary and Joseph for heaven's sake don't tell the priests'! 'Cross my heart and...' said I [;)]

Hi Wisp,

Deeply sorry that your family had to suffer such a truly harrowing ordeal!

I can't begin to imagine what it must to have one's child go missing let alone be kidnapped, but more than pleased that your little one was happily reunited due to instrumental assistance of a good Monsignor. I pray that is something that you have been able to put behind you?

It prompted me to search out the derivation of the title Monsignor: http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/10510a.htm:

Cheers,

Who decided to make this public because they didn't get what they want?

Hi,

Actually I found the article very enlightening from a personal perspective. The reason for this was it reminded me of my 1st communion, and while not a torrid public affair like the one Runlola has posted about – in its own right it was a harrowing experience for a small boy at the time to go through.

In my case I was yelled at by a large ominous figure of a Monsignor. This apparently occurred as I had forgotten or had not been told (by the blessed nuns) and had simply become dumbstruck when about to receive the Eucharistic wafer!

On reading the thread and as memory flooded back to mind: bile held back for decades simply rose to my throat! Put simply I (a child) had been made to look like a trembling fool by an ignorant bully. In fact it nearly bought tears to my eyes!  Needless to say now I do actually forgive the individual in question as he was a product of his times.

Yet I am utterly gob smacked that the Church could still allow Dickensian insensitivity to be practiced by its representatives in the new millennium.

I for one wholeheartedly applaud whoever had the courage to foist the story (quoted above) into the public domain! Respect we are not talking about the inquisition here, but should this sort petty doings not be stamped out once and forever?

Sorry if my spin on this offends - however I was very, very tempted to use extremely bitter sentiment as I found the visit to the rekindled thoughts quite harrowing (call me soft if you like) [}:)][;)]

Thank you for reminding me,

Stephen

In peace [;)]

No. What is it?

A basic chart maps your Physical, Emotional and Intellectual levels over time. Each rhythm has a periodic cycle. As far as I understand they converge at birth - which is used as a starting reference. As they are periodic they peak and trough i.e. Highs and low and medians etc. Thought to be a pseudoscience, yet you never know... DO a google!

I dont think that^ is whats happening to me.

I'm slowly getting back some energy. In the last 2 weeks I had 1 projection (rtz, 1 minute), 2 times I did telekinesis, and 6 lucid dreams (some of them very short).

Its still not close to what it used to be. I could do telekinesis 6 times in 1 minute.

This might sounds naff and very 70's, but have you had a look at Biorhythm charts?
