hm, that site's ideas are kinda dumb, ranger (i agree with you): anyone who uses physical sexuality as a marker for spiritual development, or who thinks that sexual "orientation" has anything to do with spirituality, is sadly mistaken imo ^_^

oddly enough, something like that happened to me once. one day i just lost all use of my abilities, including being able to consciously use chi. i didn't understand why, and at the time i didn't care much, but a couple of weeks later i started wanting them back because i just didn't feel like "me" without them.

so i started from the beginning again. it didn't take me long to get them back, but i guess i really needed the refresher course or something ^_^ .

so try starting again, either the same way you did before or from a way that you might now understand to be a better starting point. hopefully that might help

there's a lot of misinformation out there about kundalini. if you are going to try and practice that, find out what it REALLY is and is NOT first. and you'll probably want a teacher too.

neat. it shows a huge difference between north america's culture and those of other countries. if she had been discovered here she probably would have been sent to an insane asylum :/ . or doctors would have performed dozens of tests before declaring that they "don't know how she does it" and then denounce it saying she's probably just guessing really good :/ . or maybe that's just my pessimism speaking ^_^

gifts? i don't find them to be gifts at all, since i've built each of my abilities from the ground up, with no teacher, through practice, training, and learning. they were not gifts, and for me to think of them as such would mean i would have a gift for nearly all things supernatural. as far as i am concerned, they are skills. (of course, this doesn't mean that some people are given certain gifts, but those are rare instances compared to the number of people who learn these things as skills)

ki use is actually one of the more easy things to learn, i find. and is very easy to learn quickly if you learn to understand it (especially with ten years training in the martial arts). in fact, i had that very same attitude during parts of my ki training: arrogant and proud of myself because i thought i was so great with such a small thing (because, at the time, i didn't understand how much is out there so i thought my little thing was very great indeed). i find it interesting that i was also willing to blindly believe many things which were "based" in very shifty ground. hm, something about the singleminded focus i guess.

I have no proof, just a feeling." believe me when i say that you will have MANY feelings in your life, and most of them will be very confusing, and at times you'll likely try to assign a meaning to them just to rid yourself of the confusion. but, who knows? maybe i'm wrong. after all, you aren't me ^_^

however, let me point out one thing before i'm done here: cults use blind faith in order to get people to perform extreme actions without any proof that any of it is real. Hitler made up a story about an arian (sp?) super race and got the masses to believe it even though there was no proof of it, and committed many attrocities based upon that faith in it. so please remember, blind faith isn't neccessarily a bad thing, but performing extreme actions because of it can be.

i don't know much about scrying, but two things i do know is that you can use many things besides a mirror to do it, and you DON'T need a "black" mirror (never heard of it before, could you provide a link?) []

actually, lighthouse, some of what you are saying *is* contradictory to what the bible, and what jesus, says. i'm not saying you are the devil for that, but perhaps you should reexamine your beliefs against what jesus actually did say if you want to follow him.

sorry, but i find that funny. part of my ... "training" in metaphysical things was on the "dark" side of things, and i know that whitelight *if used properly* does not allow for easy tampering with the energy body and spirit. (while he is right that it quickly and easily draws negs to it).

i can see why he believes that gold light would be more protective (ie, it feels more solid than white light) but the proper and pure use of white light doesn't rely upon putting up a shield between one's self and negative influences. it has to do with purifying the person so that such influences will not take root no matter how much they try to overwhelm the person.

of course, not doing it properly still gives you a defense (how strong being based upon how you utilize it), but also invites negs to try and corrupt you and gives them some chance.

now, i'm not trying to say that gold light is useless, it isn't (in fact it is a very good defense for novices and people who don't like/use the "white light") but what i am saying is that i think he misunderstands the white light (though, on that note, most novices probably will too so perhaps his concerns, though not his conjectures about it being a "manipulative and controlling mindset", may have some validity).

of course, each individual would have to find out for him/her self whether they can utilize white or gold light better and use that which they decide to use ^_^ .

ya know, i actually found that movie almost laughable. the only part i found sad was when the priest took on the demon and then killed himself. but i didn't find it scary... maybe it's desensitization due to video games [|)].

but anyway, yes possessions happen, yes exorcisms happen. it's a fact of life (rather than a peculiarity) for some people.

as for the mayan calanedar and the 2012 date: the calendar had to end at some point. and the end of an astrological cycle is as good a point as any. it doesn't mean something is going to happen on that day, it just means that some king/ruler decided that they didn't need to calculate dates beyond 2012. if they had calculated it to the next astrological cycle after that, then the people who would be living then would be wondering about it, same as we are now.

i mean, hell: if i were a ruler, and i could predict the future through the stars (which those who are believing in the demon war are saying the mayans could do), i wouldn't bother having the calendar go past the end of my reign (or if they were a more communcal culture, rather than a ruler-subject culture, i'd have the calendar end at the same time that the mayan society ended). an ending of a calendar is just an ending of a calendar, not of life as we know it.

stagnation also causes doubt. after having believed something for too long without it ever being challenged OR EVEN THOUGHT ABOUT, eventually (and eventually may be months, years, or even decades) a belief is going to be doubted if there are no (or not enough) experiences which can support the belief.

i've yet to see a good reason why/how they are different, but meh. the point is moot really.

the only real differences i see about chi and psi are what people *say* they can do, not what can actually be achieved with them. for instance, i've read so many people's posts (people who use psi or who are new to chi) who believe that chi cannot be used outside the body. *shrug* there are many tinkling contests over psi and chi on other forums i've visited, but as of yet there is nothing that can be done with psi that i haven't been able to reproduce at least once with chi ^_^ .

1) it is possible to open them without kundalini.

2) you don't need kundalini for psychic abilities.

3) there's a lot of misinformation out there regarding the third eye, and much regarding karma. and yes, you can use psychic abilities for selfish purposes (though, as you become more and more spiritually aware, you naturally become less focused on just yourself and begin to understand how all things connect and work with each other. though, that doesn't mean that you neccessarily become selfless).

some people may develop blockages due to strongly believing that their abilities must be used selflessly, and so it would be their own subconscious which creates the blockage when they feel guilty about doing selfish things with their abilities.
