Welcome to Metaphysics! / Trying to prove TK...
December 05, 2002, 14:45:08
G'day mate,
Definately takes time and practise. It's interesting to analyse how your brain feels when doing TK. You definately know when you are "in the right frame of mind." Have you tried looking for other methods of training? I can post a link if you are interested =)

cheers,

Hey silentjohn,

Let me be the first to say G'day and welcome to the forum :)
I have checked out his site as it was recommended to me also. I found it extremely interesting. My friend told me of a picture that apparently exists of the site that has the twin towers in it and a plane coming in. Now this is ironic considering it was apparently done about 12 years back. I had trouble finding it so don't quote me on that :P

But definately worth a look. Very amazing

cheers,

Hey mate,
I think that there is a good chance that something happened. Based on the fact that she said it has never happened before. It could be due to the fact that she wanted it out of the way quickly and this caused a little "mind over matter" reaction.

Either way I think you are on to something here and if possible give it a try again. It is often most successful (from what I hear) when the healer is confident and not too much concentration stress is put on the healing session.

The situation you were in was probably a very casual one and no pressure was placed on you to perform a special "healing session."

Perhaps you can build on this experience from here and search for methods of healing. At least do some research as to what there is around. I know that Tom will recommend Reiki which seems to be a nice way to go.

Everybody has the ability to heal and I think you were on to something there with your girlfriend.

Just a bit of food for thought

Cheers mate

KP,
I need some help with the pin-wheel. Thing is, when I have the attitude "OK. Now I am just training up the TK muscle. I dont expect any results now and Im happy to train without them." Then that is when i get it to move or turn slightly which is the most common. Once I see it move then i tend to know that I can move it and that puts the pressure on and you know it wont move when you concentrate hard on it. Theres no way. Last night I had success with imagining myself in a kind of fighting simulator. Sort of Matrix stuff. Thing was that I was throwing fire balls and all the challangers that would pop up. I was smashing them from all angles. The main purpose of this was to get adreniline through my whole body. It was like a Ki power up in a sense. This seemed to help a little. Can you suggest a method of thinking after I get the first movement because that is where i get stumped =(

Cheers mate,

Hey guys,
Interesting topic. I myself have thought about this many times. It would be cool to actually be effective at it. Do you think that it is the same method as making a psi-ball in your hands, programming it, then casting it at someone? How can one put more energy into Tom's suggestion?
cheers

Here is a link.
Some dodgy stuff here but nice pin-wheel stuff. Hard to get it to spin as smooth as they do if it was wind or sumthing fake.

//http://www.psipog.net/media.php

It is possible. Just takes all the practise you can give it.

KP, where did you get the video. Its in another language?what title is it under?

Welcome to Energy Body and The Chakras / Reiki

Is it possible to perform Reiki after an attunement even if you are not sure about the procedure. Some people get attunements because they find it and think, "hey cool." Or must you have a basic understanding. It is quite difficult to perform a reiki session for the first time when you have learnt from the Internet with all the talk of guides and so forth that are supposed to guide you. Is it more recommended to be taught in person?

No worries Steve,
I had an attunement also. Except I was busy when I got it. I experienced no sensations either. But that doesn't mean that you have to write it off. I am still curious to learn about Reiki and will do so upon returning home from my time overseas. There is a book called "Essential Reiki." It is very highly recommended and seems to contain content that others don't. I have not read it myself but it does get a lot of impressive reviews..Even from people on this forum. You can check it out at Amazon.

Hey Steve, nice name mate =)
I don't know if you have looked thoroughly through the forums under this section but there has been a lot of talk about kundalini around here. If you go to the second page on this forum you will find a topic about free online attunements and a lengthy discussion on kundalini (5 pages worth). As for links. You can try:-

http://www.kundalini-reiki.net/index.html

This site gives free attunements as far as I know.

If you want to learn the stuff about Reiki that you usually have to pay for then you can try:-

http://freereiki.virtualave.net/index.html

On page 7 there are two topics on Tummo Reiki I think.

Anyway, that should be enough to keep you occupied for a while

Cheers,

Sure thing,
Well it's easy enough to find training manual's out there is if want to. However do not spend your time obsessing over them. Find one or two, three at the most purely to get a general idea. Once you think you have got the general idea it's pretty much like they say on these forums. Practice and practice. For me I truly believed that I could do it. My thought process was that one day I would be able to do it but it would just take time to build up that ability. I was aiming at about two months before I expected to see any results. So you see I believed it would happen but just not straight away which is a good way of thinking.

Before you try an TK, you should get into the habbit of meditating. From what I have read, this is absolutely neccessary to silence the mind which is essential for beginners like myself. Perhaps later when the confidence is there I will be able to skip this step.

It is also said that it requires a gentle inattention. I remember sitting there and smiling slightly to myself thinking "It will happen one day. I don't care what happens now because this is just training." I believe it was that "I dont care" attitude that helped the most. Give it a try. Don't take it too seriously and just have fun with it. =) Now get out there and start training!

KP,
Thanks mate. Im just downloading it now. There is no need for me to download video's anymore. TK is real for me now. I got the pinwheel to move!! But a strange thing was that it move back and forth about 2mm for about 30 seconds. This was my first step and I'm gonna keep playing with it until i get a bit better at it.

I am really at the beginners level here. So if there is anyone that wants a biginners point of view on how its done then please ask. I hope a can help =)

There are people out there who get a kick out of these video's so if you got a link then lets keep the post going!

Cheers,

-Steve-

Blossom..What can I say but WOW!!!
That was an awe inspiring read. Your writing style is amazing. I can really feel where you are coming from. I think I share the "blowing a fuse" feeling. But sometimes its good to blow a fuse because a lot of the time they need replacing anyway.(My philisofical advice hehe) But it has made me think a lot as well.

I have one question. How do you keep up your motivation with meditation and energy work schedules. I often say that I am going to focus on, say, moving energy around my body, but i get side tracked and move onto other things. Have you got any good advice or tips?

P.S Your forum is great!! I will definately be back to check it out.

Cheers,

hey all,
hmmm..definately made me think. Kinda annoys me how all of the these methods of mind control and influencing the mind can be unknowingly be forced down peoples throats so to speak, without them knowing. I haven't got much to comment on about this article. It must suck to be so sensitive to negative influences from things like this. PeacefulWarrior, do you shield at all. maybe that would help. Perhaps could become a practise before you go to the movies?
I am very curious about this muscle testing technique you were talking of. Can you say what it is and perhaps suggest a link where I can read more about it.
Cheers

Hey all,
Haven't tried the child technique. I will have to give that one a shot too. =) Mobius..Yeah it was a little far fetched. The friend who recommended it to me gently warned me of the ending. It was exciting to contemplate though. Imagine!..They could be walking amongst us today but we can't see them because we are not at a higher enough vibration. I definately felt awake after reading it though. It jump started my fascination with New Age. Im not much of a reader usually but this book made me into a fanatic. I was on the Internet, book stores..Everywhere. You can imagine my excitement when I downloaded the Aura Viewing tutorial and the NEW guide. But getting back to the topic..Tia. Yes there are some people I find it difficult to send to also. For me its those that come across quite strongly as being egotistic. If you have read then book then you will know what i mean by saying that I am a "poor me." Basically this means that when i am in a situation where there is a fight for energy/power/attention with another person, then if i lose then i sit there and sulk until somewhere come back to me to give me their energy/attention/power. This is called a control drama and everyone has one. But they can be overcome.
Sorry if you have already read the book but for anyone else reading, if you havent read this book then it is a must. Then you will understand what I am ranting about.
Mobius. Did you know that there is an eleventh insight book as well. Check out //www.celestinevision.com for more details.
Sorry bout the babbling :P

I'm pretty sure that this book is quite commonly read but if it is not then it should be. It totally changed the way I think and is quite popular with New Age groups. Since reading it, I can not suggest it to enough people. It is called "The Celestine Prochecy" .By James Redfield. It is a must read. It also come with a partner book called "The Experiencial Guide." So if you dont find this book next to the Celestine Prophecy then try another book store. It should be on Amazon though. =)

Hey fallnangel,
I find it hard to believe that no one has posted anything here yet. I think Tom would recommend Reiki. I would have to back this up as well. It can cost quite a bit but can be found on the net for free if you are confident with teaching yourself things effectively.
http://www.kundalini-reiki.net/index.html This is a good one to get you interested and if you go into the energy forum then on about page 6 or something you will find an article called "wannabe healer." This has other valuable links including one to a site where you can learn to be a reiki master for free!
Hope this helps =)

sorry mate..no password..i havent got that far and the flying stuff threw me off a bit. Just a bit skeptical..but my curiousity usually gets the better of me so ill probably be asking you for the password soon just for a bit of reading material. But yeah.. let me know how it goes. I'm keen to try the Ki-ball if it doesnt drain my energy. Today I tried staying connected to universal energy and it actually felt really good. Kinda had that background love feeling going. Was really nice..I also visualised projecting love at everyone who i walked past on the school campass. I found that I felt a lot better and more relaxed as i walked through the halls and not anxious and paranoid that everyone was judging me. If you go to school in sweden then you will know what this feels like. sorry bout the rambling but its a good thing to try. makes you feel really great.

Hey people. I briefly checked out the site above but have yet to have a good look. I did however read a section about flying. Now I am a pretty open minded person and i believe that the Ki ball is possible but has anyone heard of the flying technique that this page suggests?

hey auraseer,
I know what you mean about feeling drained after the psi-ball. Tell me about it! Its a bit discouraging and makes it difficult to stick at it when you know that this drained feeling is going to be the end result. Tom you cant use reiki energy for psi-balls can you??I wouldnt like to because i feel like it is a kind of insult to that method. But if anyone finds a good way to make the balls without leaving me drained then let me know. I checked out the Ki site that auraseer suggested...Did you really get good results with that auraseer?

tja (G'day) distant bell,
Im pretty sure what i got here is something real. When i take one hand away then the sensation dissapears. I think you were saying that it stayed for you. Also i can feel its shape. I is a spherical feel and i can stretch it and make it smaller. I can tell it is there when i make the ball slightly smaller and i get that effect of the magnets pushing against each other. I do however want to know how to keep it there with one hand and also how to cast it at something or someone with an intention in it. Did you check out the above link distant bell?Tell me what you think of it.
Cheers

Ok. Thanks for the clarification. I have one query though. If infact i can take energy from the earth/sun/moon to make this "psi-ball" how do i do it if i learnt to do it in the first place with my own etheric? Is it a matter of focusing on the earth/sun/moon as my source to draw from. Tonight I tried to make the ball phsyically visible. I couldnt get it to happen but i did generate the most heat i have achieve so far. Is it true that i can put an intention or emotion into this ball and cast it at someone? I checked out the link above and they seem to be written in a "wow..amuse your friends with this but dont take it seriously" fashion, and that was not really what i was hoping for. But dont get me wrong. Most of the information on the sight was extremely useful in clarify what it is that I am doing here. I just want to be able to use other energy sources than my own to play around with this thing and really get the hang of it.

I find that I feel very drained after i try hard to condense the ball. What is the most effective energy to raise if I have used a lot of my energy in this way. I am currently drawing from the earth by imagining roots coming from my feet and then storing in my navel as it says in NEW. I find that i get a better sensation though, if i let the energy run all around my body. Is it a wise thing to do?..hmmm so many questions..but i guess thats why we are here..Thanks for the input guys and girls.

Wow people. I really appreciate the healthy discussion here. I have not tried Reiki. It is difficult to be confident in a practise that you feel you dont fully grasp. For example, are there any symbols in Usui reiki level 1,  that must be used or do they only come into use at level two reiki. I basically learnt all i know from http://freereiki.virtualave.net/index.html
I believe this site to be quite reliable but i basically copied and pasted information from the site. If someone can write down a basic level one technique session and how it is conducted and what should be visualised then it would be greatly appreciated. Or recommend a good site with this information.
cheers

G'day guys,
I havent really given a lot of thought to the quality of energy raised. I guess it can make a difference if you are living in an apartment building or out in the country. Perhaps it could be you technique. Now im not doubting your technique in any way. It sounds good about what adiraz "go out to farmer joes country to get some of the good stuff m8.."

tjenare distant bell,
I was wandering if you read the whole NEW guide through before you started practising the exercises. I have the feeling to practise the exercises and get used to them before i move on. This is aimed at everyone who has worked with NEW. What do you suggest?
