You can't really have insight into having more than one universe. Now we're misusing the word 'insight'
#502
The word 'universe' refers to everything, so there can't be multiples

Incidentally, I found this book today: "Jesus: Last of the Pharaohs"
It suggests that Jesus descended from the Egyptian monarchy, doing what his ancestors had always done: Establish a kingdom and rule on the grounds that he was sent by divine forces. It could explain a connection between Jesus and the pyramid - and it is rather odd that I happened to see that book today. Though I'm not sure how the eagle (the U.S.) would be connected to Egypt. Perhaps Jesus' descendants run the country

The 'halo', as the book notes, comes from Egyptian hieroglyphs in which the Sun god Ra (and I think his descendants) has a Sun symbol around his head. Supposedly, Jesus came from Ra's lineage, and the halos in Medieval paintings mimic the Sun symbol

Someone once reported a creature that wa a big block with tentacles, and it was pretty nasty although no noises. I imagine a lot of creatures that can float will look aquatic.

I've had this theory that the astral form is a sort of membrane that co-exists with the cellular form. Sometimes you can feel it move. I figure you could see with it if you can move its eyes out of your cellular eyes

"By way of reptilians, are you seriously meaning the David Icke variety? I mean I'm open, but even my 'conspiracy' leanings only lean so far."
That had to be the dumbest paragraph ever.

"it is thought our Galaxy swallowed another smaller one at some time which left us with the debris that hides between the arms of the galaxy."
Or maybe we're from the smaller one. Pfft. The humanoid who talked about this collision said it as though we're intruding on 'their' galaxy. What an butt.

A dual galaxy would also explain the frequency of binary stars around here. Maybe if those tales of Nibiru are correct (and that'd be nice to confirm astrally), Nibiru might have been thrown out of Sirius during the collision.

But they say, due to the immense distance between stars, the chances of mass destruction on a planet are pretty slim. Still it would disrupt consciousness systems, I imagine.

I had the honor of seeing the Greys' star map one time - at least I think it was theirs because of the information in it. Quite a trip that was. Someone interrupted my dream and I found myself watching the Solar System from the outside. It was just a little dot, with Sirius nearby, and countless other stars with unique colors. I moved slowly backward through the stars, surprised at how distant they are from each other. They had feelings associated with them that became more intense when I neared them - each had a unique feeling but they were all alien to me. There were icons with data about life in each system. I guess that's the data they collect when they're probing planets and experimenting on animals

I could fly freely and sorta got lost in the mass of stars near the galactic nucleus. In my tranced state, I thought I had lost the Solar System forever. Whoever showed me this system had to pull me out.

A term that can be assigned to anything. For example, several strange entities recorded in ancient times had their names turned into 'God' when the writings were transcribed, to better suit monotheism
#507
Ahaha, I'll bet the - uh - spiritual people were of the 'love and light' sort. Man they are terrible.

I got another piece of information saying the Milky Way is actually a combination of two galaxies that collided some millions of years ago, leading to conflicts between the inhabitants. I always wanted to see this galaxy from the outside and confirm that. It'd be funny if the Milky Way turns out to have a dual nucleus, and astronomers' theories about colliding galaxies have already come true

"Over the years a few AP'ers have posted their experiences of travelling in and outside the solar system, looking in on other systems and like me, who posted about finding an edge to our universe like a membrane bubble skin. Outside of our Bubble were billions more. I saw two bubbleverses touch gently which sparked enough energy for another big bang to birth a new universe. Some years later I again saw that perspective but from a different vantage point where all the bubbleverses were in a layer, almost like the foam when wind whips it up on the waves. Since then I haven't journeyed outside or 'above', depending on your view, for a few years now."

YES! Finally I get more information on these bubbles! That little paragraph answered some questions I've been asking for years - so apparently these bubbles are real 3d membranes and not a metaphore or a 4d phenomena.

Is there anything else you observed? The texture or color of the membranes? Any direct links to articles people wrote?

I heard about it when I was talking to someone. She was once sleeping in a Buddhist temple and saw this 'memory' of some humanoids who had been flying through the universe in a rather impressive craft (details here http://www.ufocasebook.com/etoriginofmankind.html ) - she doesn't mention it in the article, but I contacted her and asked what the universe looks like when you're flying through it. I figured maybe it resembled an organism, but she said it's a set of bubbles moving around and bouncing off each other. That was all she said and I was rather confused. (she says a lot of things that even my wildest studies haven't touched on)

Some time later, I was talking to a Reptilian fellow (very odd story) and he elaborated, saying it's a set of bubbles and also layers. The layers oscillate and move the bubbles around, altering the way material behaves in each bubble. He said ours is the only one with galaxies, strangely. Once again I couldn't get anymore answers.

We live in a strange universe

Heh, it's common behavior to steal every new thing and exploit it, neglecting the consequences. Usually the inventor himself will patent it, declare it his property, and make everyone pay to use it. An organization will do the same and declare it their property and use it as a weapon or for profits. That's why these people can only take baby steps.

But if we don't like these people, we can reject them and do things differently

Anyway, meditation bores me too. I like to go into quick trances during periods of arousal and tiredness. Often, I can have a very detailed telepathic exchange in a 5-second trance.

I read somewhere that objects such as the Giza Pyramids and the stone circles of Europe functioned like ancient 'computers', concentrating celestial energy to enhance the minds of whoever used them.

I imagine the concentration of celestial energy also created a gateway so beings from off the planet and other dimensions could easily interact with Earth, and possibly incarnate here. Thus the hieroglyphs of all the strange entities, and the sudden uprise of celestial interaction (so-called angels and deities) around the world some 10,000 years ago. It's quite possible that the pyramids were the reason Jesus was able to incarnate here in the first place.

Due to the shifting equinoxes, the stone circles and monoliths are mostly unusable now, but the Pyramids are still working. Perhaps they're part of the reason we still have so many psychic phenomena

If Earth ends up with a bunch of men wearing tights and capes and shooting eye-lazers, I'm leaving
#512
I can side with that

Generally, the smarter guys don't do 'conquest' the way we think of it. If they want something from you and you're not willing to give it to them, they decide how far they'll go to get it, and find the simplest, safest way to take it. Zetans for example wanted to study human genes but most humans disliked the intrusion, so they used diplomatic and psychological tricks, letting them step in and exploit people without any trouble. No sci-fi style ships shooting lazers or anything.

Secondly, the more organized humanoids can continue a mission for millions of years. Rather than tearing a planet apart, upsetting all life and getting the galaxy into an uproar over your actions, you would do better to mentally and genetically enslave your target over time.

Usually there is no conquest, but subtle exploitation.

Third, there is no 'us' or 'them'. Humans are not unified and neither are outsiders, so we really should cut out the race talk. Pft

Actually I do and you don't
#514
so if I take a puff and have some tea, that's gonna be my brain tomorrow?
#515
I think scientific methods are always improving. You always have the objective data and subjective conclusions, but some process the data better than others. The worst is when someone rejects data based on belief, as our religions and universities do.

The really intelligent societies out there (telepaths and the like) tend to pool all new information into a central system, so whenever someone sees or discovers anything unusual, it's added to the system and considered alongside all previous data. This way no data is forgotten or neglected, and it's always there for further consideration.
#516
What worries me is not simply the way humans think, but the fact that a lot of creatures out there think the way humans think, but have a lot more firepower
#517
oho, I like the way you think.

I notice how lost memories sometimes fork off into their own personalities, and even develop on their own without your waking self knowing about them. They really do take on a life of their own sometimes.

I was kinda beating around the bush when I was talking about the mind earlier. I, personally, think the brain has no significant sentience at all. When your spirit leaves your body, your brain remains intact, yet it cannot do any thinking beyond handling bodily functions and conveying messages to the spirit. It's only there for coordination and idle processes. Meanwhile your spirit retains every memory and thinks independently.

Then there's the biological evidence. People have lost half their brain but didn't lose any memories. An ant with a brain 1/1000 the size of a human's can contemplate a situation about as well as any of us. I think it's just a myth that the brain does any cognitive thinking.

When people first discovered the brain, they merely assumed it's the center of intelligence because it's a clearly visible organ that reacts to thoughts, but that was a long time ago. The actual mind - from what I've gathered - is a system of harmonic data and not a collection of cells. Not an organ you can visibly see.

Of course, you might be right about the brain indexing memories. My understanding is that your entire sentience takes place in organized data fields, to which you can attach new data streams and sometimes lose them.
#519
right, some people have lucid dreams - a little skill allows you to make streams interact.
#520
I think past lives are hard to access because they exist on a different 'thought stream'. It's something I learned from telepathy. When I go into a trance, I become unaware of my waking self and waking memories because I've dropped out of my waking thought stream. From there, I can attach to new thought streams - for example I can view someone's memories from a thousand years ago as though they're my own memories. I see what they saw and I understand what they understood, because the stream becomes an extension of my own mind.

You do the same when you fall asleep. In your dreams, you understand what's going on as though you've always lived in that dream, but you can't seem to recall being awake. Different streams

That's how past lives become hidden, I figure. When you're caught in your waking thought stream, you can't change streams (unless you're really skilled), so you have to be asleep or in a trance to recall past lives

It's a bit like TL said, except your old lives are kept on old hard drives
#521
That's a good way to do it, but all I see is you giving the delusional version of 'I don't know'
#522
I'm mostly with T.L. on the physics of it.
If I might play Captain Obvious for a moment: A person's beliefs govern what qualifies as 'proof' to them. So when you say 'there is no proof', it's a delusional way of saying 'that conflicts with my beliefs'. Similarly, when you say 'it's unexplained', it's just a delusional 'I don't know'. This is ridiculous. Nobody likes to be wrong or uncertain, but just say 'I don't know' when you don't know.

Anyway I've been studying reincarnation patterns. I'm no expert, but I'm starting to think astrology plays into it. The rotating fields of the Earth and Sun govern bio-rhythms of the body, and most likely impact the way it thinks. So if a soul were introduced to this body, perhaps certain souls are only compatible with bodies born at a certain time of the year.

Odd side-note: Indians say the soul enters a fetus during the third month of pregnancy. Perhaps a person's astrological sign should be established on that month, and not when they're born?

I figure, the masses know there are creatures stronger and smarter than humans - everyone does - they can't claim ignorance anymore. But will they admit it? Nope. It's always been fun to be the center of the universe, top of the world, and this society puts a lot of effort into keeping it that way. When people struggle for decades developing rockets for space flight - bragging about which country has 'conquered space' and how smart humans are for sending a clunky old rocket to the Moon - just to find someone else was wizzing around the galaxy with ease for the past 10,000 years, it's a little hard on the ego. Forget the conspiracy theories. The masses WANTED the government to cover that up.

So of course they'll react badly when a foreigner shows up and sets foot on the planet. That's just offensive.

I don't demand that these people change, though. I think it's fun being the odd one out - I like being that guy who can have a simple telepathic exchange with another humanoid while the other guys cower in fear.

Someone who believes the astral is fake could say the suit is a scam and the people who have used it are part of a hoax. So the suit would be more useful for dimensional shifts than convincing morons.

Becoming invisible and flying are done by changing EMF codes, whereas dimensions are another matter, if my studies are correct. Shifting dimensions requires an electromagnetic vortex with quite a bit of power - something that's hard to do with a suit. You also need a stable vortex. You're tunneling through 4th-dimensional space, and the tunnel is only as stable as it is powerful, so a flimsy vortex could throw you into sub-space and there's no telling where you'd end up. (there have been accidents like this with vortexes - big ones - and supposedly some weapons that do it on purpose) It's more practical to use a stable vortex that's already been setup.

Still I'd like to have a flying suit some day

You can kill people from the astral, but harming organs is not the most practical way, even if you can do it. I only have a few hints as to how it's done, but I'm not going into details because the people on this board are already dangerous enough.
