How do you achieve that? I often exit my body during a lucid dream but what I tend to experience is often more like a dream. I'd like to be able to exit my body from a dream and enter the astral.

Here's how I do it, because...well...It's the only way I can project from a lucid dream. I can't ever just leave the dream and go where I want.

I have to erase the dream first. I can make the dream go away with intent but I can't project from it and go to specific place right off with intent. Once it fades away, I'm in that void. What seems to be weird in my case is that I often get some great stuff from the void and I know most people say they don't. I'm certain it is the void though.

Not sure if it's related but dropping a magnet can cause it to lose it's charge. This may be similar.

Only you know what is true for you but you just wrote all the sensations I have felt during a panic attack. Except for the spine thing.

I will have to read some more on this since I know many people who say that have experienced both and all agree they are not the same.
#704
I never see any of your responses as confrontational.

When I say allow, I mean don't analyze everything. It's one thing to work through the fear only to over think something and then ruin it with excitement.

You are referring specifically to SP but no one wants to induce SP and just experience it in a vacuum. To heck with that, we all want to phase. That means allowing it to happen. :-D
#705
What do I think? I have no idea about this being genetic except to say that we can and all do project. We're not always aware of it.

Concerning the rest of your post, it's one of the best I have ever read. Thanks for sharing this. :-) :-) :-)

Congrats on not getting scared. I have no way of knowing if what you saw exits objectively or subjectively or what dimension you were seeing but it was real to you and that's all that matters.

I have many such experiences that I will only go so far to say is that they are real to me and they can be for anyone else who chooses to open their minds to the possibility. :-D

The only downside to using binaural beats is if the person believes they need them. That will certainly make it so until they believe otherwise.

I think someone who personally knows better for them self, can use binaural beats for years and still phase without them any time they choose. I know that sounds like an addict. :-D

I don't personally use them but I know they work and so I would recommend that anybody who hasn't phased through any other means, should go ahead and see it they will work. If they do work for them, just knowing that the experience is real, can sometimes be enough to do it without the binaural beats.
#708
Hey Dean, has your brother had any similar incidents of phasing without intending to? Or do you not talk about that with each other?

Anecdotal evidence exists to support anything. The main difference is in perception. What others view as meditating, I call relaxing or clearing my mind. I am positive that many physical ailments have presented themselves or have first become apparent to people while they are relaxing but I guess I'm just assuming that the act of relaxing was not the cause of the physical ailment. I think we should all hope not. And though I never do any energy work, I will argue that I am getting as much benefit in how I am doing it versus those who do but of course that is my perception and it may entirely be out of ignorance.

I would never instigate discomfort but I would suggest working through it if one is mentally capable of doing so and the ability to relax is important to them. There is no gain in quitting if phasing is important to someone.

I will take the stance and claim that there is absolutely no physical danger in relaxing, phasing, or projecting. :-)

QuoteI have found that if the mantra exercise is not followed and the VS is entered whilst experiencing non-conscious hypnogogic thoughts, the resulting thoughts manifest as hallucinations or an overlapping dream. The hallucinations, because of the quite raw and frightening nature of SP, can sometimes lead many to visualize figures that correlate to the sense of presence i.e. 'the old hag' or ghosts. Following the mantra will keep your mind in the know, so to speak, and result in a more 'clean' and uncluttered experience.

Using a mantra is well known and popular but is very underrated IMO. Like this quote says, it allows you to work through the fear that can occur from the sensations because using the mantra doesn't let the mind wander to the crazy stuff. However, like anything else, you have to allow the process to work.

Wow, according to that list of symptoms, the "kundalini rising" can account for every sensation known to man.  :?

QuoteIt is reasonable to assume that seizures are a possibility, so why take the chance?

I'm gonna call this rubbish. :-) Fate, bad luck, or whatever you want to call it, may allow for a seizure to happen at the same time but the sensations are not the cause of the seizure. I'm not a doctor but I do know that we all experience these sensations every night but we are usually consciously unaware.

I understand your concern but I think that is a bad assumption. If you have had a personal experience that leads you to believe that this is possible, then you may have a preexisting condition in which case, you should have that looked at. :-)

Everything I say is with good intentions for all. :-)

Maybe someone who is not as lazy as I am right now, can find info on the brain waves happening during a seizure and compare that to the known brain waves associated with AP or phasing. It's not proof of anything but it would be interesting none the less. But from what I understand, a seizure occurs during rapid changes in brain waves and neurons misfiring.

I'm sure we can all master the ability to meditate in any position but that isn't my goal nor do I think it will be anytime soon, so long as I can get in a position without pain. Then I will have to overcome that pain like I know is possible. But that's really far more dedication than I'm currently willing to invest. I guess I haven't evolved as far as some. If I get some personal evidence that suggests my inability to meditate in certain positions is hindering my current goals, I will work on that accordingly. :-)
#714
We all want to say that one day. Excellent.

My thing is, that I usually experience the audible hallucinations and I can go a year or more sometimes without this kind of an SP attack. The infrequency is what leaves me unprepared and totally caught off guard.

That same storm rolled through my neck of the woods during TWD finale and I lost my satellite signal. I had to watch it online later on.

Hey, Selea.

I might not be using the correct terminology here. To me, a thought form is a manifestation of my own that does not exist apart from me, it's subjective. Now, if I can see and interact with your thought form, created by your beliefs, I then call it an entity. It has no power over me because I give it none though it may be extremely powerful to others that don't recognize that this is a possibility. I believe that there are all kinds of consciousness that exist objectively of our individual beliefs as well.

In my early explorations, I constantly feared demons and such until little by little, I stopped believing in them. I have since learned why but I do not at all wish to influence your beliefs. You are comfortable and have no fear exploring. My mini rants are only because so many new people won't try these different states of consciousness because they are too scared of something that doesn't have to exist if they don't let them.

I understand your lack of desire to speak openly about some of your beliefs because other will say you are trapped in a belief system. But we subjectively know our own objective truths. Who can tell us otherwise?

The reality is that we all are. We can't escape that.

Seeing geometric shapes is a very common experience. However, it is one that I don't share other than seeing globes or orbs but not in the spirit sense.

Like you, I did my exploration without knowing the common terms and concepts. After I started researching, I would read something that sounded common yet amazing and think, "Dang, why didn't I have that experience yet."

Later on, I would realize that I actually did, only I didn't view it the same way or use the same metaphor to describe it.

All in all, I wouldn't change doing this with ignorance but I had a lot of catching up to do once I was ready to start accepting my new reality.

Hi selea. My quote that you were referring to was only in context to demonology. You had to take it out of context to imply that I believe that jumping out of windows is harmless.

I have seen and spoken to many entities that have been given power to them through the beliefs of others. Most have only been manifested through belief. The rest are just as harmless.

They are not real to me because I don't give then enough attention to sustain their existence for any time in my reality. My belief makes this so.

Hello Dean.

You are using your own terminology to describe what many call phasing. When I have an OOBE induced through a meditative state in which I never lost my awareness, I now refer to it as phasing as well. If I turn lucid during a dream and I leave that dream, I call it projecting. Most people consider remote viewing to be when they phase and see a worldly location in real time. I have never viewed the non physical reality as "the astral" and I have never put any time or effort into energy work or opening my third eye. I am open to it being helpful for others but I see it as unnecessary to my personal path. Whatever works for the individual is what's important IMO and you know what works for you. Belief is what makes everything so.

All your terms are fine. I'm not trying to reinvent language or terms here, but rather to get on the same page. Meditation without the intent to phase or project is one of the ways we experience different states of consciousness. Taking it another step and phasing is also a different state.

When we explore the non physical reality, we become aware of so much more that was closed off to us because of our mindset and disbelief. This includes all sorts of psychic phenomena. If you have experienced something that you once thought wasn't possible and don't know who to talk to, feel free to talk. Welcome to the Pulse.

I don't think that selflessness can exist on earth, as long as you are attached to your body & ego you will always strive for your own survival and well-being, so I don't think it's possible to be absolutely selflessness as long as you attached to yourself and your body. When that attachment disappears, when there is no "self", then one might be able to experience absolute selflessness. So one might say that selflessness = no self.

That about sums it up in my book.

Well, Beedeekin mentioned the truth about nobody believing Hitler had the stones or was crazy enough and I'll mention the truth that war was the only answer in the case of WW 2. It's one thing to hoodwink your own people and enslave them through their gullibility but it's another ball of wax to invade sovereign nations and do the same and much, much worse.

I believe Volgerle is right as well about the western media playing this up as much as possible but we have to admit, it's extremely dangerous talk. If it wasn't reported, imagine the backlash afterwards peace or war. I would not want to be a politician because it's not always about who can marry who.

The sanctions were meant to put the squeeze on the people so they would revolt. The problem is this never works. When it's outside forces, the people unite with their governments until the hell of war. So you're right sanctions are just a prelude. No easy choices.

no, this is not true.

sanctions are targeting those who are the least culpable, the general normal people, not their leaders (in the open and background) who are in their bunkers and have lots of food reserves, sanctions are also an act of war against an entire people

The regime is to blame when they continue their policies. This is kindergarten 101 and we teach the principle behind the tactic to kids all the time. Right or wrong, I'm just saying.

Hi AJ.

The Pulse has been acting weird as of late and I just noticed your members intro.  Don't forget to include your brother in your new way of thinking. At the least, let him know how much is concern and gift has helped you.

You're at a great age to start exploring. You aren't yet skeptical of everything and your cynicism has been concreted.

There is hope when the next generation is expanding their consciousness already. :-)

#724
Welcome Sam. Understanding that our consciousness can be expanded is the first and greatest breakthrough in thinking.

After that nothing becomes a waste of time. Hope to see you around.

Hi lightbeam, I too loved your post.

The equation just describes a mechanism at work to help physical survival. It does not and will not ever have anything to say about spirituality. No one law or principle will govern both except love.
