Stop taking physical drugs for mental problems for one, unless your succumbing to the fact that your physical make up determines your personality.

You obviously have no idea what schizophrenia is because if you did, you wouldn't be giving such reckless and dumb advice.

I just used the word frustration to tie in with the title of the thread and not as an indicator of how I feel. :-)

I get frustrated when I read people say that they can't visualize. That's a bunch of bull. Ladies, please excuse me.

Jesus, remember when you were 13 and you saw some pretty girl in a tight dress. I bet you had great visualization skills later on when you were alone.

Likewise, I'd simply say this:  stop "believing" and start experiencing.

Personal experience trumps second hand information every time!

Personal experience is really the only way to change beliefs. Anything else is just giving in without a fight. :-)

I just want to state that I am not a fan of David Ickke but if you remove the talk about reptilian aliens, he makes some very important statements about society and the political climate of the world.

I also have no problem with his reptilian talk because I believe he genuinely believes it and therefor I don't consider that fraud. Everybody should have the right to speak of what they believe to be true and it's up to the listeners to decide.

Now if someone is speaking pure garbage and they know it to be so, then they're just scum. I don't think that's the case with David though. :-)

I agree with you that God is transcendent far beyond our ideals.  I know a lot of people who believe in God (including me) whose concept of God is transcendent, limitless, not in 'a box' etc.  But they use the label 'God' just to have a name to refer to in conversation.

So when someone says 'I believe in God', a lot of people automatically assume that that person has limited, boxed in thinking when that is not necessarily true.  Likewise, when someone says 'I don't believe in God' many will assume that person believes in nothing more than they can see with their eyes, which may not be necessarily true. --They could be someone like you.

I bring this up because I think it is very important to look past labels and try to see the concept beneath.  I mean, it's kind of bizarre that you and I both have a transcendent, limitless concept of 'God' but I say I believe in God and you say you don't!  That kind of thing can (and does) cause a lot of division in the world if people aren't careful to understand each other at a level deeper than labels. Religion has caused enough division in the world!

Thank you for writing what I was thinking, only you said it more precisely than I could have. Now get out of my head!!! :-D

Ashek, I believe you are trying to understand too many things at once. You should slow down and take it one step at a time.

Practice meditating for short periods then slowly lengthen the time. Do this and projection will usually occur on it's own so long as you don't get scared or over excited. If so, then working on your fears would be the next step.

It sounds like you are being overwhelmed with your premonitions so chasing after them with no way to control the ability will only confuse you more. :-)

I'll have the last laugh as I actually know what I'm talking about. I've followed and studied LENR for years now. BTW it has nothing to do with making things cold.

60 Minutes Cold Fusion is Hot Again

No one was discounting the importance placed on cold fusion and the energy revolution that would surely follow. Nor does anyone think that cold fusion involves icebergs. Xanth just happened to make a funny joke in relation to it and the original topic. :-)

Speaking in tongues is just another form of meditation whether they understand that it is or not. Many dancing rituals are forms of meditation as well. :-)

I stop watching any tv, ipads, and other blue light sources for at least an hour prior til. Then I read. When I'm ready to all asleep, I'll re-enact some scenes from the material that I read in my mind. I'm asleep in no time. I often visit some of the locations in the book. :-)

come on people get real I am sure the intelligence agencies have better things to do than hang around here.

You're correct when you say that they do have better and more important things to do than monitor  this site. However, stillwater laid out the basic truth. The internet is heavily watched by not just our country but many others. They recognize the power of the internet and the speed at which ideas and information can travel through it. Read up on the Arab Spring to get a better understanding of this. That shouldn't sound paranoid or silly to anyone.

They also use it to monitor public opinion (as well as a way to influence it IMO)...a means to see which way the wind is blowing if you will. Just last year, England passed a bill that made it difficult for Britons to access certain sites that fit into certain categories and this site happened to be one of the one's they tried to block. It's not hard to get around it because it is only a default setting that blocks the access but many, many people either don't know this or don't know how to disable it. Thus it was successful within a marginal degree.

I don't believe that their kidnapping people in order to make an army of supernatural spies but it's not unimaginable.

The USA is changing dramatically and with thange change many of our basic rights are being eroded in the process. It may not be obvious for some people depending on where they live but the signs are out there and many are in bold black letters. I live just under three hours from the border with Mexico. I've made the trip hundreds of times but only a handful of times in the past five years. Interstate 77 (leads to Brownsville, Tx across the border from Matamoros Mexico.

The trip seems like any other drive until you pass the Sarita checkpoint, From there on out, it's as if you have entered the twilight zone. Cameras are located at every mile marker that take snapshots of the LP's of every car coming and going. It is enforced by most federal agencies including the Border Patrol, Dept. of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), the FBI, ATF, Parks and Forests Management, NSA (naturally), and many other alphabet soups. Not to mention a heavy presence of the national Guard as well as the Coast Guard on the ocean. All of which by the way, pack some extreme heat and patrol using clones, planes and helicopters.

That's just the feds though, we can't forget the Texas popo. You have the Texas Rangers which are a branch of the Texas Dept. of Public Safety. The DPS also patrols the Rio Grande with their new speed boats which pack a .50 cal on both the bow and stern. Of course there is also the Game wardens and every county and municipal police departments as well. Together they combine to create one hell of a cluster @#$% and do an amazingly good job at intimidating any and everyone.

Sorry for the rant but unless you see this mess with your own eyes, you might not ever be inclined to believe it. :?

Was this supposed to be an apology or just an explanation for your behavior? In any case, neither was needed. :-)

Hi Lionheart. Yes love does hurt. But it shouldn't. Good tune though

Why shouldn't it? It's a good motivator to keep you from needlessly hurting the ones you love and it teaches valuable lessons.

But yeah, I wish it didn't sometimes.

I think you're getting the point. You could meet Mother Theresa in the AP but if you are scared, you're gonna see horns and fangs sprout out of her.  :-o

Plasma it seems as though you think you are the only one with the right to be condescending. You then went on to list your reasons as to why you had a right to hijack this thread and complained that others then went on to do the same.

I can't speak for deepspace and neither can he since this thread is now locked but you constantly belittled his opinions on achieving heightened states through meditation and AP yet he continued to engage in cordial dialogue with you. That shows great character as well as a great wit when he pointed out that it was you speaking other languages albeit English but it was the language of other drug experiencers.

You should have just thanked him for being cordial and reading your mega posts.

Please have no hard feelings and feel free to continue your thoughts on the Permanent Astral topic: Drugs.

Quotei want an answer to all this

We all do. Since you live in India, I imagine that you have access to some very knowledgeable people, especially in regards to reincarnation.

Based on my AP experiences, I believe reincarnation is real. If you do talk to someone, please let us know what they tell you. :-)

The thing is, there's nothing to fight.

Too much double-talk.

Absolute nothingness

Oneness with everything

Infinite in a single instance

disintegration  manifestation

nothing was everything

etc,etc,etc,

This is called dazzling with BS. I understand that it is extremely hard explaining such experiences in any language but all these phrases...wait, I do understand "absolute nothingness" now that I consider it in this context.

Sorry, deepspace. I was not commenting on you specifically and agree with you completely. :-)

Psychedelics have been used since the beginning (whenever that was) so I think it is foolish and rather ignorant to discount their validity. My only issue with them is that not everyone uses them in a safe manner, especially kids ( and by kids I mean teens). It's difficult to navigate one reality safely with all your senses. Dull those senses and throw in another reality or two with some dumb advice to boot and it can get ugly.

I'm aware that there aren't many deaths attributed to kids "tripping" but it happens and there are other dangers as well. I had a friend that drove while he was on shrooms and he hit a culvert head-on at eighty miles an hour. Unfortunately for him, he lived but his sober sister died. He's had eight reconstructive surgeries to his face alone and it's still hard to look at him for more than a couple of seconds. Yeab, I know everyone has a "friend" that helps them prove a point but sometimes it happens to be true. :-(

Many teens read and use this site so I like to keep it real for them.

But yes, psychedelics do have their place.

It isn't easy paying the bills if you are meditating eight hours a day and most countries aren't willing to grant citizenship or long term visas to someone who isn't already financially stable or doesn't have a  needed skill that the host country views as critical.

You may have to make an appeal to a monastery and see if they are willing to host you on their behalf. Peru isn't likely to do this because they are trying to shed their image and want to be seen as industrialized nation and many Buddhist monasteries don't take foreigners seriously since theirs can be a hard path for people born outside of the culture. There are exceptions so don't give up easily. :-)

Welcome to Dreams! / Re: precognition dream?
April 05, 2014, 23:08:58

I think people have more precognitive dreams then they realize. The problem is that most people discount their dreams and rarely try to remember them so they have little to no idea of it.
