But why do you think that you are always seeing negative energies? With a little bit of work I'll bet you might just find that they are more scared of you.

There is no way to know that things will be the same when you die – when you have no more access/connection to the physical body, that you will be able to experience and do what presently you are able to while AP-ing.

Very true. I wish there was a way to know for sure that the only difference is the inability to immediately return to our previous physical body. We can meet all sorts of being that promise that it is but the underlying current of all your posts is true. We can believe all we want to but we can't know for sure.

It's getting harder and harder to know what real even means anymore. There is no way to objectively prove what real is.

Please don't use that statement as an opportunity to explain what is real. I have a very sound mind and do not question my reality. I am only speaking in an abstract manner.

The best advice that I have received and can give pertaining to this is to just drop every preconceived idea or notion that you have about OOBE's. Always keep an open mind.

Just observe if you are unsure and explore like Columbus when you are confident. There is absolutely nothing to fear at any time or under any conditions but this is easier said than to know in the beginning. You have already demonstrated a ton more courage than I had initially.

If you jump to conclusions, you'll convince yourself of something that will limit your ability to see things as they really are. And what they really are is anybody's guess, but I can tell you for a fact that this is all natural, all good, and supposed to happen...At least this is true me that is. You'll realize some things differently but that is what I would hope. We can all see for ourselves.

I believe the truth of what all this is about is so much more beautiful then we can imagine.

Nope.  I question just about everything I experience.

Someone can *THINK* that what they experienced wasn't manifested from themselves... but nobody knows their subconscious mind that well. 

I do as well. Everything, no exceptions. But for me, some things end up being crazier to keep denying than it is to not finally accept them.

The concept seems to be - 'the more individuals who focus on this projection, the more it can be stabilized into a 'real' thing within the Astral Realm'

Also once a real thing, it could become 'first point' and a 'jump off' platform to other areas of AR.

An interesting idea. 

It is very interesting but not at all new. Many people believe in the existence of belief system territories. The idea behind this is that many people have the faith that a heaven or hell exists so when they die, they go to these places that is created by their belief . Anybody who has a compatible belief in this place will likely go there through their expectations but it is not a guarantee.

This theory also demonstrates how many people just end up trapped in their own little heaven/hell since they had no real expectation of what comes after physical death and end up going where they go. This place has to be created and sustained from something and there belief in it is as good an explanation as any, if not better.

I've started listening to your book and Im upto page 74.
It's really good, full of wit and fear combined.
I was laughing to myself and the guys at work saying he's definately mad...
The tetanus line with the foot long teeth was a killer.
The perspective comes through well too. You know how the characters feel by the writing style, I like that.
I can't see a word only hear them. Originally I thought it may be a problem but no way.
You've done a great job and I'll be listening more in a few mins.

I know life isn't fair but Chops is too dang talented. Witty, voice of an angel (albeit a dark angel with black talons and all), and she can spin a great story. She probably knows the cure for cancer too.

All kidding aside, this is a great story and is perfect for her targeted audience. The only reason she isn't immensely famous right now is because she is too down to earth to care about that. Even when she is soaring the skies.

These stones are said to be cut with such precision that we can only currently do it with laser tech. Some of the best minds in the world scratch their heads and don't know what to say. Others just have to say something even if it sounds absurd and stretch some idea and speak of massive slave labor and effort.

What gets me is that the naysayers always ask for proof that something strange happened forgetting that the existence of Puma Punku is the proof. They just dismiss the obvious outright because it doesn't fit well with their comfortable beliefs.

It really is aggravating. I have to wonder how much more we would know if the early missionaries hadn't destroyed almost all of the Mayan transcripts. Consider that many people just recently worried themselves sick over 2012 just because all we had to go by was a Mayan fictional story...Their version of a Steven King novel.

I know we have a little bit more to go by but there are no disclaimers at Disneyland reminding us that the park is all based on fantasy. All it takes is the removal of information from one generation and all that is left is to form a belief as to why something exists when the knowledge was well known just a decade earlier.

Why destroy all this knowledge when libraries in the old world were treasured even during their own time? The only option is believe in a conspiracy. I understand that it is believed that the early missionaries wanted to convert these people to Christianity, but why? Why?

It makes me mad. I need a time out.

Other than meeting another AP'er in the astral, have you set any other goals for yourself?

I've never been bored with having OOBE's but without an aim, they can become less important to us.

I just usually say that I have never met another person in the Astral because it's hard to prove it to myself or others, not that I'm lying about it. I have never told a lie in my life. Alright, that was my first lie.

But I know on one occasion, that I have. Although I can't say that the person I met was in their normal form that they have in the physical or not because I have never met them in the physical...Which complicates the matter even more as far as trying to explain it. I just know that I know who this person is.

Interesting question. I'm not gonna put a limitation on God by giving him/her/them/us a name right now.

The Source sounds to sci-fi to me but it's about as accurate as I can see it.

I actually enjoy gambling. I won't waste a penny that I don't have but if I do, that's another story. I usually play black jack since you can decrease the casino's advantage to less than 1% if you play by basic strategy and take advantage of the splits and double downs. This means that you usually just break even on short runs.

What's your problem? Do you get some kind of kick out of making grown men want to cry for no reason?

While dreaming, have you ever noticed something that was weird but you just let it go for the sake of the dream's story line?

For instance, I have dreams all the time about people that I know very well but the person portraying them in the dream is unknown to me or is just someone else entirely. This always stands out to me. When it does, that raises my level of awareness enough to stop and question it while the dream is playing out.

For example, I'll say something like, "Okay, you're not my uncle so who the heck are you really?" This really screws up the narrative of the dream and raise your awareness to another level. Just keep questioning details and soon enough, you'll be able to leave that dream and go where ever you want.

It does take a little time to do this because it's hard in the beginning to gain control even after you have a little awareness but if you keep thinking about it as a a goal, your consciousness won't let you down.

These types of projections can be more vivid to you but the problem early on is that since we are in a deeper state of sleep, we tend to dismiss these experiences as just another fantastic dream, or a lucid dream. With time, you will know that you know there is a difference. If you keep an open mind, you will become convinced.

We all have these little quirks in our dreams and they are there, if for no other reason, to raise our awareness.

I was doing a show years ago at the NFR (National Finals Rodeo) in Vegas. I was staying at the Excalibur Hotel there.

The show went on for a whole week, well, at least the convention part that I was in.

I played the same "5 Times" slot machine everyday, when I got a chance to and I never went to another Casino there to gamble.

My winnings on that exact same machine were $32,000 at the end of my visit. They even gave me something called a Comp Card so they could keep track of it. That Comp Card paid for all of my meals, hotel stay, plus they gave me a bonus sum that was based on my winnings. Not bad for only starting with a Dollar coin.  

It was my first time and last time in Vegas. The hotel still sends my free rooms even today, lol.

I think they want their money back!  

Make no mistake, they want their money back and will comp you a full weekend free at their hotel to get it.

Tesla was in to med. phy. and different ideas , but I have never heard if he had out of body experences.  He could of but not spoke or wrote  of them . Tesla did have a way of creating ( visualizing )     machines in his head , letting them run for a while and see what happned to them.  I will do a search and see if there is any info .  desert rat

You know...I have to say that you are a very diligent guy. Not once have I seen where you ever get caught up in the business of arguing this, that, or the other. Without picking a side, you read the posts, make a personal comment of info that you know to be true and then go get links to info for both sides. In other words, you do a lot for everybody and I want to say thank you.

Just keep in mind that casinos have been around for quite some time and they're not built on winners. So if even a small number of us could push those probabilities in our favor...casinos and lotteries wouldn't be in any of our probable futures.

That's the biggest red flag. If this was truuuuuly possible, it would be probable based on the amount of players and casinos/gambling games that have existed. Never heard of one going under from too many payouts.

Plus the casinos would employ their own seers and use their visions to cancel our bets. That seems silly but not really considering their counter measures.

It's a widely accepted fact that Thomas Edison at least used a mind asleep body awake approach to problem solving many just flat out say he had OOBE's

Einstein himself said that when he played the violin, he would go into a trance like state and stop playing with the answer to a problem that he was working on. This is not the same thing per se but I wouldn't rule the man out with his brain.

That time in school I didn't understand the teacher, I didn't know what the other students talked about me in class. But every word what they told, I have saved in my memory, absolutely unconsciously.

That's friggin awesome. I can't imagine hearing a conversation in a foreign language, then later learn it and recall the conversation.

Yes, I've had many OOBEs since my first two.  I've only been in space twice though, and would really love to get there again.  I usually just end up roaming around either my house or other houses.  I had gotten side tracked for a while trying to validate the experiences by having my daughter draw a picture and put it on top of the refrigerator.  Then I go OOB and I tell her what she drew.  Well no luck yet.  I either end up in the wrong house or on the wrong refrigerator.  The one time I got to the right place, there just wasn't enough light for me to be able to see what was on the paper.  Not that I'm giving up but I think i need some new goals.  As for fear, I seem to have a natural level of courage when I'm OOB, but I've had a horrible time with fear in the trance/SP stage before going OOB. About 50% of the time, extremely creepy things happen and that's putting it mildly.  Wish I could skip over SP but it's the only way I know how to go OOB.  It's been a big test for me and still continues to be.  Thanks for the warm welcome and advice, everyone!

You can also have OOBE's by projecting from a dream and skip the SP. These can be more intense as far as the places and people to see. I'm sure you already know there is nothing at all to fear. Unless you like scaring yourself, but you'll recognize that for what it is.

The effort put into trying would be best spent coming up with a scheme to make the money long term... and would be much more satisfying... and is.

That's what my day dreams are for. I agree because many times my next intent is overridden by the elation of the moment and I'm talking about doing simple tasks in the NPR, much less all this hard work.

I Uste to abuse cannabis and smoke it nearly every day with my mate's but arthter a while I realised I had to stop because it was making me lazy, so I stopped smoking it for a while and now only smoke about once a month and can't smoke it with my friends because it made me paronied around them so I started smoking alone, when I would have a smoke alone i would become very spirtual play some music and go into my own little world thinking about life and come up with some amazing ideas, and my understanding of the universe would come so clear to me I became complete oneness!
I had been doing a lot of meditation and decided to try meditation while under the infulance, I remember I was in a very relaxed state of mind then all the sudden I felt a powerful pressure at the top of my head which I now understand was my crown chakra, I felt a somewhat strong energy reaching out from my head, I could hear spirits talking I believe they were negative energy's as they were horrible and vicious things to me, it's hard to describe but I pushed away from the negative spirits and reached to a higher dimentional being and he seemed to brush me off it said something On the words of you are not chosen, but I straight away said I may not be chosen but I will do my best for the source and share my love along them words, and then another higher being poped into the conversation they were chatting among them selfs and one said to me you are an amazing god and then I felt such bliss from the beings I can't remember what else they said but was a profound experience.

Smoking just makes me paranoid unless I'm drinking which renders me useless. But I can recall times that I was able to really relax a few hours later and slow my breathing down bio feedback style.

This experience sounds nothing like channeling to me since channeling usually has a specific target in mind to communicate with. This sounds like a neat experience but for objective purposes, I would have to dismiss it outright due to the cannabis. I'm not saying it didn't occur exactly as you said but the effects of cannabis mirror many things that I associate with OOBE's. Not that I have ever had a visual hallucination from smoking but the sounds appear from nowhere.

I'm also sure it's possible... but to devote your time to it is just wasteful. Not much quality of conscious awareness or evolution.

It's like Ninjutsu... if anyone wanted to learn it to break into houses and put people down with a single touch.. by the time they became proficient enough to do it... they would lose the want or need to.

I imagine it could be a lot of work. Then there is the issue of which lottery is being played. There's like fifteen drawings a week in my state alone. Ranging from several thousand nightly to megaplyer bonanza x4 super pick multi state drawing.  It's ridiculous crazy when you start to consider all the other states and countries.

But i guess intent and attention to detail can narrow it down.

I think that he is even right with this, even from a metaphysical perspective. It is obvious that OBEs also occur from 'light sleep' when in trance and in the process of waking up in the physical. At least that's my experience. You can liken it to driving in an underground train and the next step will be coming out of the tunnel into daylight and then you hop off at the last moment. For me, trance (as needed for induction of AP) is actually when in 'light sleep', too, still asleep, but almost woken up.

I believe this can easily explain the mechanics. Now if we can figure out why the engine was built.
