Where could I buy it online that would ship to UK/accept UK cheques?

I only have any success on my back, for it is the only position that I can guarentee I won't fall asleep in.

#4
I've always been able to have lucid dreams, so I'm not sure how it would help an absolute beginner.

Welcome to Dreams! / lucid dreams

Try making a huge bottomless hole in the ground and jumping into it.  The sensation of falling really seems to help the OBE.

It sounds more like a Lucid Dream, but then it's debatable if Lucid Dreams aren't actually a form of OBE experience anyway.
It all depends on your stance on dreams.  If you believe that dreams are remote visions on the Astral Plane, then lucid dreams are by definition out of body experiences.

Whip It by Devo?  Lol, great song.

You could, yeah (from a lucid dream anyway).  The easiest thing to do is if you find yourself in a lucid dream, try to feel for your physical body but without waking up.  You should then be able simply to roll out of your body in bed into the real-time zone.

What I do (always on weekends so I can sleep in) is awake around 6.00am and listen to an album or something to keep me awake for around half an hour, then go back to sleep (sometimes combined with the Suneye technique).
Be warned though: this seems to cause a truckload of False Awakenings.

I also experience this "waking rem" sensations on occasion.  All I can suggest is relax everything in your face as soon as it starts.

I used to have a similar problem with rope technique visualisations.  For some reason I kept on visualising me pulling the rope off my ceiling rather than me pulling myself up with it.
As people have suggested, I focused on the feel of the rope and the feeling of my body moving more than actually visualising the rope.

Hope this helps.

Remember that anything "evil" you encounter will be a dweller of lower regions and you have much more power and energy in you than it will ever have.

Fears must be faced.

Once you have got past them, nothing can stop you.  When you get scared, think about all things APing can do for you and keep going for it.

Best of luck.

I would like to warn you all not to focus on only one chakra.  Over time this can cause an unhealty imbalance.  If you are going to use techniques such as the Suneye, please do some other chakra work beforehand, perhaps during meditation, to make sure your other chakra's are in use.

A common side effect of the vibrations is an itchy face.  I'm afraid all you can do is try your best to ignore it.
I sometimes get the feeling of falling prior to exit, which may be similar to the vertigo sensations you've experienced.

Wish you the best of luck

I own a Novadreamer, which I use infrequently (maybe three or four days in a row a month).  It has a fairly high success rate but if you use it too often you become used to it and it doesn't trigger lucidity.

If you have any specific questions regarding the Novadreamer I'll be glad to answer them.
