Yes, Hollywood appears to have developed an OCD on alien invasion movies lately.  I mean I know they made a lot in the 50s and 60s, but lately they've gone crazy with it.  Another one coming out this December.

LOL. An interstellar race is coming to get us... to steal... our electricity. That is laugably inane, and even more so for how seriously the trailer takes itself.

I do agree though that a rather large number of alien-invasion fictions and documentaries have been made in the last 3 years, too many to recall, even. I remember at least three separate specials dealing with likely possible responses to alien invasion on discovery, history channel, and some other network. And the glut of terrible Hollywood flicks like that one... I am not for conspiracy stuff at all, but if there were some vehicle of social conditioning, these numberless alien-scarems would stand out in bold contrast.

The alien movies in the past rose out of world war 1 and 2. They had a lot of war movies, but for those people that preferred sci-fi over war and westerns, aliens were the bad guy. Sort of like how Godzilla was a metaphor for the atomic bomb and radiation. Or the obvious symbolism behind District 9. We've been at war in Iraq and Afghanistan and with the fear of terrorists, it's normal that these movies show up again. Art imitates life.

 I agree 100% Stookie, look who always wins the wars. It's us humans always overcoming whatever the Aliens throw at us. In reality we would have absolutely no chance, if they wanted this planet they would take it in a heartbeat.

Yeah, that makes sense to me Stookie... especially considering how much the depcited invader's tactics resemble carrier-warfare.

It would be funny to see a movie where an alien race arrived, and brought on a golden age of human growth; it would be so anticlimatic compared to the war-flicks in people's eyes... so much so that when a story starts out that seems to be leading in that direction, the only way to save face is to paint the aliens as grand decievers, and start the real shooting action.

When you think about it though, what would happen if a movie WAS made, showing how the earth really is? About all of the things that are going down both in front and behind the curtains? How would the humans take it? We've seen what happens if the wrong information gets in the wrong hands. Cause and effect. Still curious nonetheless.

In regards to what I was getting at before: The first V came out around 1984 (eh, 1984) and the Aliens were symbols of how the Nazi's came into power. Even the symbol on their clothing slightly resembles a swastika. "V" was the rebellion against them.

 The "swastika" was first found in Egypt. Supposedly a symbol on an Alien Craft. Hitler was fascinated by UFOs. German Archaeologists could be found all over Egypt and the Pyramids looking for evidence of Alien Technology. Hitler was trying to find the secrets of the Ancients. There are many books written on this subject. He even had his own society of channels named the "Vril".

Hitler was hardcore into mysticism and regularly ingested such things as peyote and the like.  He later became a drug addict (using opiates and amphetamines daily), but he was always into mysticism as many of you probably know.  It may be uncomfortable for some to acknowledge, but he was a lot more like us projectors that history lets on.

I wana know who the guy is that hitler called "superman" aparentlly from what hitler said "I met the new man and he's terrorfieing" (spelling) he def seemed scared of this "superman" guy. Could this guy be ruleling us or something? I would say hitler was a great exsplorer in his time and I wish we can learn on what he reserched and his beliefs in the unknown. But all we get is he was a christain who hated Jews and other people and started killing them all. Till you learn he was building ufo's and taking symbols from diffrnt cultures that represents diffrnt meaninga and stuff. Could hitlers story be a coverup? There's a conspircy saying that he never orderd such deaths and stuff so it's intresting to understand this guy and what his real agenda was cause tba... The real bad guys are the ones who invaded half of the world killing it's people to turn it into there own world.
