Hanna, a nudhist? Coff, coff....do you wanna come to Portugal in Hollidays?[:D]
I love you!

Hannah b

I've been there already and truly loved it, but I don't know if I can handle this amount of fun and party again..egh..emm..[:D]

Were you been into Algarve? Its a nice place for partys, beach and sun, but the Northern part of Portugal it is nice too. There are much more green and mountains and i really love it.

I love you!

Hannah b

hmm...the name of the town was......emm...forgive me, it was 7 years ago, but if you insist I'll ask my friend[;)] All I remember is that it was 30 minutes away from Lisboa, and that there was a beautiful beach and tons of party. I really love the south of Europe, so there's no need for you to make advertisements[;)]
I think mr God made some kind of mistake by allowing me to be born in Poland. Apart from absolutly hating the cold winters, I don't even look like  a typical polish type, I have dark brown hair and eyes, and whenever I'm in the South I'm often mistaken as one of  them. Maybe in the next life I'll end up somewhere nearer Portugal[:D]

It's interesting how, over here in the US, sex is generally censored in the media, but violence is accepted, but in Europe it's the other way around...

Personally, I'd rather see/hear something pleasurable, as opposed to something miserable...

LOL! Great to know... but it's not like I have to be on a nudist beach in order to have fun ..especially that there's always a risk of having to see something really miserable, like kodemaster said[:D]

Also, about the US/differences.
Warning! I DON'T MEAN TO OFFEND ANYONE!!!!!
When I used to live in the states there were 2 things that were difficult for me to understand.
1. The amount of 'nudity shyness" in for example changing rooms..it was even more strange because I was among my girlfriends with whom I was very close, and it ssemed like nothing could be worse in life than seeing your best friends naked breasts..Obviously, here in Europe naked breasts are not a problem. Please correct me if I'm wrong...maybe it was the age I was at ..or maybe...emm..I run out of the ideas.
2. The way you say hello.
If you meet someone for the first time you don't shake hands do you??? (I'm not talking about buisness meetings)..
I remember that you give bear hugs to the people with whom you are closer..
And to me it's so akward...the not touching..I think that it's necesarry to make some kind of physical connection in order to "connect". I'm really curious how this kind of physical contact  ( or lack of it) effects the later on life. Do the French people have closer connections because they kiss 3 times for a hello??
Is it all about the sexual harrasement issue?

I'm sorry if it's all a pointless babble...it's been a hard day[;)]

In Portugal young people (my age  more or less) it is used to kiss even unknow people (women) in the face with 2 kisses. It is normal and i have no  problems with that.

About the movie differences, i think that it is interesting the fact that USA movies have lots of violence but the sex that they passa in movies (even erotic movies) it is horrible. I hate playboy because it is too faked and they dont show anything.

Europena movies are far more real in sex. Even the image itself it is nor so bright and colourfoul (due to the filters) becoming more real and interesting.
Its starnge that taboo with sex in USA movies.

sorry if i offended you...
I love you!

Kazbadan

Wow! This girl it is fire! What do you mean by "look but dont touch"?! [;)]
I love you!

I've skinnydipped and run naked in a thunderstorm.  It's great!

About Wiccans and nudity though ...............

"The Witches/Wiccans were naked in their Rites" is, mostly, bunk, sorry to say, although this myth is the conventional wisdom (especially among the young)in Neopagan communities.  It came from a pretty poem, the Gospel of Aradia.  Aradia was Italian.  A Strega.  Strega is kind of like a witch, but not really.  Strega is Strega.    Still, the Strega I know wear clothes!

Take it from this old hag.  "Witch" is a northern european word, and it's cold up there! A good number of Witches (the inspirations behind modern day Wicca) escaped NORTH, beyond Hadrian's Wall, to avoid being killed by medieval religious fanatics.  They wore blankets and dark clothing at night.  Most were poor, having no closets of "ritual garb," either. They wore what they had.

About the "skyclad" of Gerald Gardner:  Though he contributed GREATLY to the revival of folk/magical religious practices, via this new/old religion he dubbed "Wicca," Gardner was kind of a perv.  Not only was he into group nudity, he was into group sex and S&M, and worked bondage and flogging - excuse me, "scourging" - into his rituals.  Funny how the Gardenarians I know treat nudity like gospel but just kind of gloss over the naughty bits as though they were optional!

When I do magical work outdoors, I wear clothes to protect my body from bugs, tree branches, etc.  That said, I love being naked.  But I prefer being naked indoors, in a pair of stilletto heels!  Sexualized, yes, but . . . so? [;)]

Back to the nudist topic, I'm all for it. I moved out west in the late 70's and went to many clothing optional hot springs and beaches and I can report that there is still many places in northern California that nudity is accepted and normal. Haven't heard of anyone cited for it, you just have to go to the places that it is accepted. Lots of rivers have nude spots and I know of quite a few pacific beaches that are clothing optional. Not all are hard to get to- I was surprised a few years ago when I went to a popular public beach just north of san francisco, walked over the rocks and found people frolicing in their bithday suits! Unfortunately I don't think the younger generations are so much into it so when all the old hippies die off nudity may disappear too.

May not even the names disease, famine, war, and suffering be heard.
May virtuous qualities, merit, and prosperity greatly increase
And may continuous good fortune and subline well-being perfectly arise.

DUDE! I HAVE THAT ON VIDEO!!!

And Surfin USSR! Help Me Make it Through the Night..... Man that was good stuff back in the day. Sittin Up with the Dead used to freak me out. My parents got me that video when I was like 5 probably. It was like some greatest hits thing that was advertised on TV. I still have it upstairs with all the other movies in my small collection [8D]

I think the whole clothes thing is a promotion by the rich and powerful men. Their egos could not handle being shown up by "lesser men" and thus must have "better" clothes so as not to damage their fragile egos.

Ray Stevens is da bomb!

I love being naked at home and skinny-dipping in the moonlight or in a hot tub is great - so freeing.

In my younger "Babe" days, I tried a nude beach and got sunburned in places that had not been exposed to the sun since infancy -- sunburned boobs and bum are not comfortable. I can only imagine what men who get sunburned in some very private parts must feel.

Today, in middle age, people would be throwing towels and yelling at me to "cover it up". And they would be right.  At some point in life, being naked in public is not a good thing to see.

Think about most of the people you encounter in a day.  Would you really want to see them all naked, sitting in front of you?  No thanks.  It is wonderful to see the young and fit and beautiful on a nude beach...but the rest of the people I see every day -- not a great image in my mind.

But private nudity - is Great and the best, most comfortable suit of clothes any of us have. It is wash & wear and never needs ironing.

I have never tried the rain thing.  I do have a relatively private back deck.  Maybe one night I will give it a try at 2 or 3 in the morning when I am sure no one is around. [;)] I  wouldn't want to get arrested for indecent exposure.

And just a thought on our American movies - maybe we love violence more than we love sex.  We only say we love sex, but I wonder if we really mean it.  Actually, we love dirty, shameful, forbidden sex as shown in the multi-billion dollar porn industry and music videos.  But ordinary or romantic sex is considered too girly as Arnold Schwartzenegger would say.

But violence is so much a part of our entertainment offerings that we are numb to it.  I am sure the rest of the world was quite amused by the scandal caused by Janet Jackson's (silicon) breast exposure. 5 seconds of a little nudity on TV and people reacted as if she was "doing it" in public.  The rest of the world must think we are nuts.

Maybe we are all just hug deprived - touch deprived and need a good, long soak in a hot tub with a hugable partner. [:D]

So, go run naked in the grass.  You will be happier for it.

teenagewitch09

i've never done any naked rituals, but it shure does sound fun![:I]

osprey1_5

I haven't done it, but maybe one day[:D]

Actually, I lived next to a semi-nudist beach once (topless) and it was qutie nice....since us guys go topless anyway. Win win situation huh? [:P]

I have been drinking, but still I have a valid idea. If you get naked and go outside and flash people for just 1 minute, then come back inside and deny everything, you could probably get away with it. What the hell are you talking about? I've been watching seinfeld for the last 20 minutes!

Kazbadan

Watching Seinfeld? LUCKY ONE!! The last time that a portuguese TV transmited Seinfeld was  about at 4 years ago or more!!
I love you!

In S.F., yoga in the buff is OK stuff
City drops charges against yogi who drops trousers

SAN FRANCISCO - Nudists, grab your yoga mats and head for San Francisco.

City prosecutors on Wednesday said it was not illegal to perform naked yoga in the city — even at the crowded tourist destination of Fisherman's Wharf.

Prosecutors dropped charges against a limber nudist, known locally as the "Naked Yoga Guy," who made a habit of striking yoga poses in the buff in order to promote a book and his lifestyle.

Now I have something new to try when I get home. [:)]
