Waves rise and fall. Evil may be on the increase (in general, for years now) but I would argue that recent fights/whatever on the forums would be more the influence of Mars and some pretty extreme electrical alignments in the last couple of weeks. Tsh! I leave you people alone for 2 weeks and see what happens!!!! hehe.
Seriously though, if any of you are feeling fed up and like leaving, instead of announcing a final absence from the pulse I would advise you to leave it a week or two, then come back here, have a sniff around and see how things feel then. A break can do wonders to clear the mind, and the forums will probably be clear sailing again soon enough.

Those are some pretty good thoughts so I want to throw my cap full of opinions in....

With regards to the whole UFO thing I tend to remain neutral on all of this. There are too many nutcases on either side of this topic. Both side seem to put forward extreem views - either aliens are gods or they are monsters. If the truth is out there (ok, bad X-files pun) Then I think it lies somewhere in the middle of these extremes.

As to new age dogma being egotistical (or egocentric),I though that one of the key elements to most new age / esoteric philosophies was the removal of the ego. Desires of self must be removed before progress can really be made.

The "power of positive thinking" has been preached by a large number of christian ministers. I wouldn't class this as a new age idea. As to altering reality this way, this is best left to the Astral realms where this idea does actually work.

The aspects of good and evil have been discussed quite a bit on this forum. Do a search and you'll find a few lengthy threads. My personal opinion is that they are a matter of perspective. But then I see many things as being a patter of perspective as I believe that our perspective is what ultimately shapes our realities.

I used to be in a church that had a high emphasis on spiritual warfare. I've only ever been attacked by negs twice - and seriously, as each time I was almost completely suffocated. This was while attending this church and getting involved in spiritual warfare. I wasn't taught to shield properly because the minister honestly didn't have a clue. Christians have a rather apt term for ministers and their followers who engage in this kind of thing all the time - witch-hunters.

Has anybody seen those black orb thingies flying around? I've seen two so far. They are about a foot in diameter and are REALLY REALLY fast. All you will see, if you see one (usually in your peripheral vision) is a spot of black for a split-second, and possibly a very short trail of black following it. These things have been reportedly increasing, or at least the sightings of them have.

I follow no prophets. Nostradamus was full of crap, and I don't know of any other prophet who has been right in their predictions.

There is a little voice inside us all called our conscience. I think we should just listen to that. The best way to win this spirit war is to do what you normally think is right. The war itself is merely a distraction from your personal battles. Know that the war exists, but fight your own battles and help anybody who is being overcome by a more powerful spirit (of darkness).

As Bruce Lee said, a person with true wisdom simply lives their life rather than seeking the truth. It is in this that the true wisdom is found.

The simple knowledge that there is a truth is just a distraction from finding it. Maybe we were never meant to know.

A few things I'd like to say:

First of all, I'm going back to read all the replies later.

Secondly, I don't see why America is making such a huge spectacle of 9/11, sure about 3000 civilians were killed, but what about Hiroshima? HALF A MILLION CIVILIANS were killed. I think that's a little unfair.

Finally, this whole war thing makes sense. As below, so above (and beyond), and vice versa. The spirits are fighting because we ourselves are fighting, etc. Don't know who started it, but the fact is, there's fighting going on. A lot of ancient civilisations seemed to believe that there is a kind of cycle. Mankind has been rising and falling since the beginning. This is just another falling - a pretty big one but there will be another rise. This is our world, and we aren't about to leave it just yet. And if worst comes to worst, we'll become One again like in buddhist teachings and we'll create ourselves a new one.

Do not fear death, for it is only the beginning. Being afraid just feeds the hunger of the evil that is trying to consume us. The only thing that we have to protect is the heart and soul of humankind. Those of mankind who have fallen and resort to violence and do not care for such things as we do have already been controlled by that which is our enemy.

It's just like the times before the Great Flood from Zecheriah Sitchin's work, or Noah's Ark from the Bible. The world was a terrible place, so God (or Enlil) tried to destroy humankind. But as always, there were survivors (represented by Noah and his family) who rebuilt mankind.

I am also reminded of The Matrix Reloaded, where the Architect tells Neo that there have already been other Neos, and it has always ended with the destruction of Zion and the few survivors would rebuild it. Call it fate if you wish, it's just a cycle of inevitibility. I don't believe the end will be too soon, but it isn't far away either.

Quit cowering behind religions too, just face the "evil" and do not be afraid to die. The only thing I'm scared of death is the unknown and the pain [].
