Hey has anyone watched the movie Flatliners. Its about medicine students who kill themselfs using an electric shock under supervision and then bring themselfs back to live using CPR etc.

It shows that we go somewhere in the afterlife, however since its Hollywood they are haunted afterwards since they went to a place they should not go to without dying properly.

Any thoughts on this?

Woah

I haven't seen it, or heard of it until now, but it sounds interesting. :) I'll try to get it. How good was it overall?

..By the way, I liked your "since it's Hollywood" part. :P

Well its good and it does make sense if you believe that we should not mess with death and the afterlife in this way.

Somehow something similar might acctually happen if we play around with death like that because Astral Traveling is not the same thing as dying. Maybe we die for real the next day or so in a freak accident..... or something. I don't really intend to find out,

Anyway here is a link to the movie for more information: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0099582/

Saw it very long ago, don't remember much, would like to see it again now that I know of NDE's.

I saw it many years ago and I don't remember everything about it. I recall it being pretty good, though it is a Hollywood movie. I think it is mostly about paying for your wrongs or what you feel guilty about. It really does not resemble any real life NDE's that we read about.
Alice had got so much into the way of expecting nothing but out-of-the-way things to happen, that it seemed quite dull and stupid for life to go on in the common way.
