Well actually the water does filter the smoke, its why the bong water changes color.

the water changes color because little bits of ash and pot get pulled into the water chamber and steep like tea leaves.

Well this is Wikipedia so it can be wrong...

"The rationale behind the use of a bong is the claim that the cooling effect of the water helps to reduce the chance of burning the mouth, airways, and lungs, thus using a bong to smoke is safer. The water can trap some heavier particles and water-soluble molecules, preventing them from entering the smoker's airways.[8] The mechanics of a bong are compared to those of a laboratory gas washing bottle."

seems reasonable.

my statistics professor was studying hookahs because that's become all the rage in the city i live in (like tobacco hookah bar).  she said that one of her biggest findings was that the water filtration didn't really help much aside from cooling the smoke (which the heat from the smoke burns all the little hairs in your throat and stuff like that).  long story short, she found that water filtration didn't making smoking pot or tobacco any healthier like a lot of people think.  i'm sure it does filter out some of the big stuff and water soluble stuff, it makes sense.  but it doesn't really make it any healthier.
be awesome.

Smoking anything can be dangerous...fact.
Bongs are filters...again FACT.

smoking anything is indeed dangerous.

and water does act as a filter, absolutely.

but when it comes to smoking pot and tobacco, water filtration doesn't seem to offer as much reduction in harm as people have been lead to believe.  that's my point i guess.
be awesome.

Take Bilberry pills once a day every morning.  You can buy them at a pharmacy store like CVS or Walgreen's.  I too had pressure on my eyes and they even ached just about everyday, until I started taking those.

I haven't taken Bilberry pills since I ran out, but I also haven't had any pressure ever since I took them.

Yes, they actually do!  In  fact, the very reason I found out about them was when I was looking to natural remedies for glaucoma.  It runs in my family:  my mother has it and her niece has it.

I remember the symptoms I had were the same symptoms my mother had before she was diagnosed so I assumed it was leading to glaucoma if I didn't have it already, but I didn't have insurance like she did, so I looked for natural remedies and Bilberry pills were what I came across as the answer.

However, I was able to get a check up on my eyes not too long after that and it came to find out I didn't have it, but the pills helped with getting rid of my symptoms.

I'm not a doctor though, so I can't tell you whether or not you can skip taking eye drops for Glaucoma, but the pills help.
