Sad news...particulary when you see a good team playing well and losing in the end.

At least with world cup soccer things are more difficult and dont happen by luck: Brasil was a fair champion.

Sorry to say this but Greece is like Italy: ultradefensive game with lucky attacks that result in Goals. To be honest, the cup should have gone to Rep.Chezk or Portugal.

The only happy thing that i am seing is that FCPorto, a portuguese team, winned a trophy much more harder to get.

Greeks ARE just as passionate about their players and soccer.  For Greeks there is no other sport.

As for their abilities...Portugal - 0  Greece - 1!!!

Ok,ok, i got the message, but even admiting we loose (11 players against 12 it´s always difficult) you must admit that playing lucky it´s a bda thing.

BTW, i dont get why i never see anyone happy with Portugal. Everytime i see people from other countrys, they never want to see  Portugal winning.

I hope that Greece goes to the World Championship and still playing like this. Thenm there they will face on great things that will teach then that playing in a lucky ultradefensive style it is a bad thing.

Well, if we loose against a teams that played well, like Netherlands (Portugal-Netherlands, do you remember) we would say: "Well, they played good, they deserve it", but it´s not that as happen.

Soccer often is a lucky game. And sometimes there are guy lucky enough to find easy teams and beat the strong teams with luck.

And part of my rage is due to the referee. Even before the game start out everyone knews that i is friend of the coach. Why we dont see a high rated referee as kolina, in the last game?

At least it would be 11-11 (not 11-12).
