I have admired the following Haiku by Santoka. For some reason it makes me think of looking beyond the obvious, and looking within.


This is the stone,
drenched with rain,
that marks the way.

I thought it would be interesting to hear some of your favorite poetry. Maybe a small explanation as well. Here is one from me helped me through lots of tough times:

When it seems that there is nothing left to loose
and the darkest night has decended
and you feel like you do not want to choose
and all the joy has ended

where can you go to find the peace you need to keep on trying
where can you go to find the hand that'll dry the tears your'e crying

When you're wallowing in sadness and in sorrow
and you are looking at what seems to be the end
God will whisper , just hold on till tomorrow
