Lysear,

I was born and raised in Philadelphia. Lived there until I was about twenty-one. I still have lots of relatives there, so I travel back every few years.

You can get from New York to Philadelphia in about two hours. There are trains that run from NYC to Philly, also buses, or a rental car will get you there as well.

Philadelphia has a lot to offer the tourist. Try staying in the old historical section. I can recommend a place if you want. Some things to visit are Independence Hall, Carpenter's Hall, the Liberty Bell, the Betsy Ross house, Elfreth's Alley, Benjamin Franklin's grave, the Old Quaker Meeting House, and many more sites all within walking distance from one another. There are lots of good restaurants nearby, and great shopping on South Street, as well as other nearby spots.

Very best,

Thanks for that, I will probably visit there, I can't wait now.

Hooray for Philly! My college, University of the Arts, is right in Center City. And growing up in the suburbs has made me a loyal Philly sports fan, even if they do usually let us down.

P.S. This is what part of the alphabet would look like if Q and R were eliminated.
