Planet X is coming tomorrow, time to flee.

Sedna - not much of a planet.  Our moon is larger.  Maybe it is coming this way and will become our second moon, which means, of course, that the tides will now pull us in two directions at once.

Since we are mostly water, we will like be stretched sideways and then when the tides chanage, we will snap back.  We will all be like giant rubberbands.  

Actually, I have always wondered about this fascination we all seem to have with "doomsday" and the end of the world scenarios.  Do we think we deserve extinction?  Or is it all just irrational fears rising out of our primitive, animal natures?  Maybe it is just ego as we wonder what the universe will ever do without US - it will manage just fine, I am sure.

For some, it is a religious thing about sin and punishment.  My own opinion is that most of us have been punished quite enough in many, many lifetimes.  We don't need any more lessons in punishment and sufferings - the lessons are all around us if we care to look at them.  So I don't buy into that.

There are worse things than just up and dying.  Some of those things might be surviving some of these end of the world prophecies or self-righteous satisfaction that all the rest of us will finally get our just punishments.  

Even in the worst situations of human history, we have shown a remarkable ability to survive.  Not all of us, but at least enough to continue the species in some form.  

I wouldn't mind a second moon in the sky and if it has an atmosphere, it will have Ronald McDonald, SpongeBob, Disneyland, and a casino filled with blue haired ladies playing those slot machines, and one very expensive, very fancy French restaurant for the snootier crowds.

are ppl really worried about some planet eating our planet destroying our home forvever. a team of 5 fat guys and 5 stupid ppl could do the same thing but you arent scared of them![:I]
