Do you think our minds are strange.   I was meditating late this afternoon and I heard someone saying to me the person who they went out to dinner with wanted to put the baby into the toilet area.    This happened a very long time ago and I had forgotten all about it.   It is strange that that came into my mind.   I never thought about it.   It just flashed into my mind.   I think the mind is very strange.

Maybe the baby s dyper needed to be changed. Just my wild thought s.

Your the only strange one here Astralsuzy.   :-D

No but seriously I wouldn't worry about it. Of course the mind does strange things sometimes. That is what happens when your not connected with source. It's just a natural part of life. It's kind of like how we do things that have no real thought out cause, or reason behind it. Kind of reminds me of strange and weird dreams that we can get. But once you are perfected in both spirit and body these things will naturally go away I would think. Just my two cents.

You may have consciously forgot it, your subconscious hasn't and to resolve the issues this action gave you, the subconscious brought it back. At that moment you may have been in a perfect position to reflect upon it. In doing so you'd have put it to bed.
It is something you'd never do too. Way back I guess you wondered why do that?
Subconscious surfacing of these thoughts is a good indicator you're mind is tidy. Stress may also be something you don't suffer from long term.
The mind is far more than we know of.
There's far more where the eye can't see.
Close your eyes and open your mind.

Yeah and then there is that aspect of it too.

Thank you all for your replies.   Szaxx That is really good to know.
desert-rat  I never thought of that but it is possible.   Perhaps it was a misunderstanding between the people involved.
PlasmaAstralProjection I think you are right, we can all be strange.  We should not worry about it.

I would suddenly remember little insignificant things somebody said or did many years ago, also flashes of dreams I had in my childhood, which I think is nuts

What's really nuts is going somewhere and knowing where the shops are. This info given in a dream 40 years previously. Thing is, the place didn't exist back then, it was all trees etc.  :-o

...or knowing the people in the Dreams even though you never met them in this current physical reality. This happens so many times that it  led me to believe that "parallel universes" actually do exist. Once maybe a fluke, but too many to count and you know it's for "real".

Okay, a few ideas to share here:

Astralsuzy, these fragments/glimpses often arise when we put ourselves into the appropriate meditative/receptive state and just staying within the moment, we get to explore a bit deeper, like I did in my Fieldtrip experience, which "downloaded" during a meditative period one afternoon; quite unexpectedly.

Szaxx, you should consider getting a similar read on a cheap piece of land and gifting it to your future self, say 200 hundred years hence (should you choose to return, lol)...now that would be land speculation at its most daring! We just have to pick you a name...

Lumaza, Dream characters that we intuitively know...they are that or a mixture including self-aspects maybe...either way, our dance cards are quite fuller than we imagine and we've somehow lost our friends list...I have to agree; it happens way too often, Lol.

Todays' synchronicity that applies here, methinks...

Earlier today, I was reading from A.E. Powells' The Mental Body... A very dry and textbook-like read but with several buttery gems spread throughout, such as the idea that these brief glimpses and fragments of things half-remembered, half-felt from earlier midnight experiencings...these moments are difficult to translate or re-experience more fully simply because they have occurred on a higher frequency, at a higher level, call it the Mental, Causal, or Buddhic level of our energy bodies and that therefore they resist or are simply incapable of being translated down into the lower energy bodies. Language is incapable, feelings are slightly better yet still incomplete, conceptual thinking just teases us with the idea that something knowable was apprehended stupendously at one point, but now cannot be even guessed at beyond the fact that it occurred.

Momentary flashes, glimpses, concepts, etcetera such as these, are no doubt frustrating in ways, yet the intrigue of the fact of their existence should excite us to continue on. These are our entrance signs into the higher levels of experience. They will become more complete given time and proper effort.

Oh what fun! Feels like Christmas!
Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.

...and they do just that. Curiosity has always been known to be a powerful motivator! The "drive" is always "alive!  :-)
