I totally agree that the Matrix Trilogy is one of the best. If you really like the movies you should read the link that no_leaf_clover put up. It is long, but really worth reading. I had no idea that there was so much symbolism in the movie. I found it very interesting about all the names and what they mean. Like Neo (anagram of the "One") and Morpheus (Greek God Of Dreams). I found it helpful in deeply understanding the movie also.

the movie is really amazing, its a shame the sequels didn't get more credit, because I think they are the philosophical bulk of the trilogy

but I really like the hindu and vedic philosophy that is omnipresent throughout  the whole trilogy, and reloaded with the "everything does what it is ment to do" idea and the whole "leftovers from previous versions of the matrix" it really puts a new perspective on life

its amazing how the brothers made deeply philosophical ideas (hindu + vedic) easily accesable to the common folk, however, most of the people who didn't enjoy the movie I found just didn't understand the true Ideas behind it.

however the "evil vs good" was put into an entirely new light, simply because it is a survival of the fittest, even though one species simply neglects the other species the true freedom in life "choice", and natural evolution is full of examples of "un-equal partnerships" where one side gets much more benefit out of the teamwork.

anyhow, it was a good flick

After reading that, I can finally get an idea of how much of a modern masterpiece The Matrix really is. Just the minor little details in the movie are brilliant. I really need to see the sequels.

This may have already been posted by someone else, I don't know. If it has then, oh well, it's worth two posts.
