I'm not purposely ignoring anybody right now and it keeps hitting me how I miss so many of my buddies on here. I guess I should give a heads up as to what has been going on. I got a dog and I loved her to pieces. A beautiful Great Pyrenees. I took her to get spayed a month ago and the machine was not calibrated correctly so they killed her. My heart ached and even now a month later I'm still dealing with the different departments... I originally didn't want another dog, but so many people encouraged me. But nothing could replace my baby. But I fell in love with my new baby too. I took him to get neutered a few days ago and I was weeping with happiness when I picked him up and he was still alive. The next day he slid out of his collar because my husband put it on wrong and he has been gone for days. I have torn the neighborhood apart, even getting the help of sniffer dogs. Even the small bit I'm asleep I try to see if I can find where he is, but it hasn't helped. I can't lose him too. My heart just can't handle this all at once. Please think good thoughts. I need all the help I can get.
Take to the sky, feeling so alive! Past the clouds to the Milky Way, share our secrets with the starry brigade. The stars surround us like a million fireflies. For once I see infinity... it's in your eyes.

This is heart-breaking!  I'm SO sorry, Chopstick.  I will think good thoughts for you that he will be found.

Good energy directed your way ChopstickFox!  :-)

We miss you and your sharing here, but I see that life is challenging at the moment. Like all of the other challenges you have met, you will get through this one as well.

Hi K,
I feel your sadness, you know your baby had a really good time with you and that should bring a smile.
Do your best to look at the good things. Life can be miserable without extra pain being thrown at you.
Lets hope someone has found your new friend and is taking good care.

I hope you can find him, your recent husband must feel really bad too. Try to support him as I'm sure he's in this with you.
There's far more where the eye can't see.
Close your eyes and open your mind.

Sorry your dog is missing , my dog would take off , but he knew where his food dish was    so he would come back . It would be my guess that some one is taking care of your dog or he would have come back .  This forum has a prayer reqest sec. you might make a post there for your dog , or if asked I will post one for you with a link to this post . http://www.spiritualforums.com/vb/
p.s. that part of the forum is a members only sec.

Hi Chops.

I read your thread the first day you posted it but I was at a loss for words and I knew that there was nothing that I could say that would cheer you up.

Just know that I understand how you feel because I like you, I love my pets like I do people. I know that this is little comfort but I believe your last puppy is alive and is doing good. I think some a-hole  :x found it and took it home, a loving home. This is usually the case when sniffer dogs lose the scent. I know that it isn't fair and your heart is still broken  but at least you don't have to worry that something bad has happened to him.

Remember that we are always here for you. :-) :-) :-)

If some one is taking care of a pet they find there not an " a-hole " .  Only if they know the pet is loved by some one else are they an a-hole .   I dont know about your part of the world , but hear a few people will abandon there pets , others will find them and take care of them .  Its possable that some one has your dog and has no idea he has another home .

I completely understand what you are saying and I do agree with you as well. Growing up in the countryside, 100% of our pets were abandoned and fully grown, just dumped in the country as if they had the predatory instincts to survive. Abandoned in the city where they can scavenge for scraps is one thing, but having to rely on hunting skills is usually not gonna happen in the countryside where the closest people live ten miles apart from each other.

I was just speaking with emotion and just hope that all is well for everyone involved. :-)

I did a/c  work for this dairy , they had all kind of dogs . They told me people would drop off dogs near to the dairy knowing that the dairy would take them . I guess they thought the dogs would get free milk .
