BTW: i´m not any Joana, i was just kiding. I´m a "macho latino", eheh.

For the people that doesn´t know what is Portugal, here goes: Portugal it´s a little country, side by side with Spain. It is a nice country but very problematic in it´s economics, education, health, etc (the politicians only care about their money,and their lifes not about the country and i´t´s people).

In this moment Portugal it´s being devasted by giant fires (criminal hand plus all the incredible hot that is atacking France,Spain, Italy and others countrys in Europe).[

Hello Mr. Nick

I have a question about Ventura. This might not be the apprpriate place but ho well.
Do you think that because of the american indian inslavement in that area some bad vibes are there. In the ground above Buena, Skyline area every sensitive person i took there said something bad and it was in the ground and couldnt explane it.
I dont know just a question?

Maby people seem to tune into difrent things?

Hi Liz,

The bad vibes would just be a guess on my part, as I haven't personally picked up on anything, but I'm not a 'sensitive' as others may be. I've lived here since '78 and it's been an ok place. I did read a bit about the colonial history from the 1700's. The local native-americans were treated harshly by the Spanish troops. From what I understand those that did not want to become "christian" were dealt with rather severely. There is reportedly a mass burial site near the local San Buenaventura Mission. Intolerance and prejudice are ugly things in any era.

So, I'll be here another year at which time, as I mentioned already, my wife and I are relocating to Flagstaff.

Hi, I am from the USA - Chicago - where unlike the rest of the country and Europe, we are not roasting. It has been one of our more beautiful summers with cooler days, less humidity than usual, and enough rain so everything is so green and lush.

And the funniest thing that happened this summer was the bus driver who, while driving a busload of people, got arrested for soliciting a prostitute. In Illinois, the vehicle gets confiscated for that. So the Chicago Police, took the bus and the driver to the lock up.

Somewhere along the way, they finally did let the people on the bus get off to wait for another one.

At least once in a while, our tax dollars do give us a good laugh.[
