I've been trying to achieve astral projection many times I started trying regularly for a while and have progressed greatly but one problem my friends and I have is the actual exit. Now before I continue I want you to know that I have tried using both self and guided meditations from Paul santisi (btw his guided meditations are great I always have good results with his stuff), I also tried different exit techniques but all have failed. I know I'm deep enough into the meditation and I always have a good mindset. What I encounter when I try to exit are vibrations, ringing in my ears, and my body clenching, I feel as if I'm being pulled along when I reach for the visual rope but I can only get my hands out when I envision my chest or head coming out that part of my body tightens up and I can't lift it out. I don't think it's because of any spiritual blockage or entities keeping me from leaving in my house as I have done checks for those and I do lots of third eye meditation and chakra balances. Any ideas or help please? Thank you in advance and happy spiritual travels i wish to you :).

Hi there.

Have you tried to project from a lucid dream yet? This is one of the easiest methods to get that first success. Projecting from a meditative state is as easy as it sounds yet it is still very difficult. There is an elusive piece that even the experienced projectors have a hard time nailing down in words when trying to explain it and even we can't do it every time. There is a certain moment of disconnect that occurs and most of us aren't even aware when it happens so we don't even notice it. I got it down very quickly but I had two spontaneous OOBE before I even knew what they were. So when I found out you could intentionally have one, there was no stopping me. I credit it to the fact that I knew the experience was real and didn't just believe it was.

Right now, just keep an open mind and don't give up.

Another common method that is highly successful for beginners is the alarm clock method. This forum has tons of info on it so give it a read.

Welcome and good luck.

Try what I do (about 50% of the times): Ask beforehand your spiritual guides and helpers to give you a lift.

Then when you are at the point of reaching out with your hand (and you say you can do that, so it's not a prob, right?) instead of having actively to grab 'a rope' grab the hand of your guide. They will drag you out (sometimes with power!).

Don't have any doubts, I can tell you, they WILL be there and they WILL help you drag you out/up. You just need to ask and "ye shall be given" .

You will (most certainly) after your exit not see them, unless you decide to want to, because they operate on a higher frequency than you.

Even if you should not manage to lift your hand/arm... no problem. It was with me and sometimes it even is this way that they grab your wrists and give you a 'lift-out' this way.

I have (been told I've) 10 helpers around me, I guess it is similar for everyone. These people are always willing to help and "lend a hand", trust me, it will work for the lift-out, and to overcome the exit problem.

Then you can go still on your own, as you wish, nobody will disturb you. They work in the background and only show up if you want to. That's it with me and I've got ample experience working with helpers during exit stages so I might sound arrogant but it's just true when I say I know what I am talking about very well.

Good luck.

When we dream about familiar people or places, there are many things that are different or just seem off. 99% of the time most people are slightly aware but don't take the time stop and think about it. For example, I sometimes dream about close friends and relatives but occasionally the dream character that is supposed to be my uncle Bill is actually someone I have never met. Well that's really odd but we are conditioned to just go with it for the sake of the dreams narrative.

When that happens, stop and really take notice. You can even tell the guy who is pretending to be Uncle Bill that you know he's not who he's pretending to be. If you stop the natural flow of the dream for just five to ten seconds, it will almost always fade away since you stopped it from running it's course. At that point, you are in the astral and all you have to do is think about what you want to do.

Good luck.
