Hi all,

Sorry if this is a daft question but I can't find the answer. I'm looking for the hemi sync presets created for bwgen (f10, f27, etc). I know that Adrian posted them a long time ago but the link doesn't seem to work anymore. I've been searching for them everywhere on the net but can't find them.

Can anyone tell me where I can get hold of them?

Thanks.

peachtree

Thanks, but these ones are not actually there, unless I'm missing something. It seems from Adrians post (going back some years) that he created bwgen presets from the original hemi sync files, thereby getting around the copyright issue. He posted them but the link no longer works. I hope someone might still be able to point me towards them.

Do you mean this free software from SBaGen?
I just wrote a focus 27 sample to a WAV file and burned it on CD, it works fine.
Here is the link:

Hi, not exactly but it is similar. Bwgen refers to the Brainwave Generator application, which produces binaural beats similar to SBaGen. BwGen is not a free tool, but most of the presets that have been created (files of binaural beats for a variety of application) are free to use. You can use the "presets" of bwgen to produce wav and mp3 files, similar to what you've done.

Incidently, where did you find the focus 27 file that you used within SBaGen to create the wav? That might be a different approach for me to reach the same result.

When you download their free brainwave generator it contains
a folder with examples. In there is a folder called "focus" and
that one contains a lot of  sound files called focus levels.
A text file says:

" MONROE INSTITUTE `FOCUS LEVELS'
-------------------------------

The scripts mentioned here are based on a document that appeared on
USENET, from someone who appears to have measured the frequencies used
on some of the Monroe Institute tapes (the information is included at
the end of this file).  Although the frequencies were measured, the
relative amplitudes of the tones were not, so the results will not be
completely identical to those from the Monroe Institute tapes.  Also I
believe that the Monroe Institute uses a guiding voice that leads the
subject through the experience, along with other supporting materials.

Despite that, these tone-sets (or Focus levels) may be useful for
experimenters to base their own tone-sets on.  This information also
gives us a much better idea of what frequencies the Monroe Institute
is working with, and what they are using them for."

It also explains how you can right-click a file and write it to WAV.

bird, thanks mate. This is very helpful.

Peachtree, I have the Gateway Hemi-synch presets you're looking for which were posted on AstralPulse many years ago.  I've made them downloadable in a winzip file at:  http://tasterschoice.tripod.com/Hemi-Sync_Bwgen_Presets.zip

Also included in the winzip file are the Bwgen files for the "MAP" (Mastering Astral Projection) program from the CD included with the book:
"Mastering Astral Projection -- 90 Day Guide to Out-of-body Experience" by Robert Bruce and Brian Mercer.

Also included in the winzip is a "Boxed Nirvana" Bwgen preset downloaded from the Bwgen download site which is the only audio file in any form for which I've had any kind of success with.  I only listened to it a few times and I think it was the very first time I listened to it when I started getting the body vibrations.  I may have had more success if I'd have stuck with it??

Anyone who has any success with any of the included files please post your results back to this thread.  In the "_Instructions.txt" files included in each folder in the winzip I've included the URL of this AstralPulse thread to make it easy to remember where you got them.

It would be helpful if anyone who downloads the winzip would disseminate these Bwgen presets as far and wide as possible (especially the Gateway Hemi-sync presets) since I can't be sure how long the URL where I have the winzip file stored at will be available.

Thanks and good luck!!
