Hi,

I've been thinking of doing a retreat, or maybe going to the Monroe institute, noticed there seems to be a new focus level to play with. Focus 49.Interesting stuff, begin to wonder if this is along the lines of Franks focus 4?

Here's the link;

Thoughts?

Hey Steve 2B,

I've been considering doing a retreat at TMI too. Have you planned any dates etc when you might be going? For me, I can say for certain it wont be within the next 6 months. I think I'd be going for the 6 day gateway voyage program.

Hi MisterJingo,

I think it'll be towards the end of this year. I'm going to try for somewhere around Sept-Nov. I've also looked at places here in the Uk that might offer something, but they all seem to be waay too mystical for my liking, or full of the happy-clappy brigade. It's a shame really.
Like you, I'd be going for the Gateway program.

One of the main reasons for my interest is to get some help with achieving the higher focus states in a relaible fashion. Anything beyond focus 12 is decidedly wooly and haphazard to say the least.

Cheers,

Steve

Does anyone know what the focus levels from 35 to 49 are ? I have never heard of 49 . Does anyone have a link to a description of these ?

Focus 3: State of increased mental coherency and balance
Focus 10: Mind Awake/Body Asleep
Focus 12: A state of expanded awareness
Focus 15: State of no time
Focus 21: The edge of time/space - contact other energy systems.
Focus 22: live ones in comas, or the insane a chaotic level
Focus 23: dead "stuck" confused about or unaware of their death, ghosts
Focus 24,25,26: Belief Territories of Afterlifers
Focus 27: Afterlife free will created by humans resembling earth
Focus 34-35 is the locale having group consciousness entities also known as the monad or oversoul. -Robert Monroe Institute

I dont understand how F15 is higher than F10/12. Everytime I try to meditate, I always get F15 (what seems like half an hour ends up being like 2 hours to me), but I never hit Sleep-Paralysis F10 unless I do a WBTB/WILD, in which I won't end up hitting F15 because by then I'll be OoB or lucid dreaming.
