Ok guys im really groggy right now(just woke up) but i had a cool experience i thought id share. it was my second "obe' experience.

anyway i went to lay down/take a nap at about 12:30. i got deeper and deeper into relaxation and i could literally feel my awareness slipping deeper and deeper away.

Then it happened, i was lucid. I realized i was starting at a picture of a town. As i stared the colors got brighter, more vivid, then the image dissapeared after about what seemed like 3 seconds. I was amazed i could visualize thing and actually BE THERE! I felt slight vibrations the whole time, i should say, and i was aware that at any time I could "lose" my awareness and fall back into the heavy vibrational stage.I suspect this will go away with practice, and i cant wait to explore my PF2 ;)

So i imagined a room in my grandmas house i used to sleep in when i was a kid, and there i was! I walked downstairs, looked around(it seemed like it was early morning) and decided to fly OUT of her window. As soon as i went through the window I ended up in the 3d darkness. I was so excited that i was doing it, and doing it so easily that i wasnt sure what position my body was anymore. I knew i wasnt exactly "in" it. It felt like my feet were high in the air and my body was laying vertically in my room. Then as soon as I knew it I could feel myself traveling somewhere, and I gently glided right back into my body! i could DEFINITLY feel this transition, and it was SO smooth it was unbelievable!

So theres my story, I just wanted to write it down while I can remember it all because it was an AMAZING experience. words just cant do justice. Il comment more later when Im...awake

I can tell from this experience that the hardest part in all of this "OBE" stuff is simply getting relaxed enough to distract your awareness while not falling asleep. I can already tell its becoming much easier for me to "fall asleep" quicker.

Another thing, everyone should try practicing at different times, because I have only practiced during the day about 4 times, and THREE of those times I had VERY good results. When you only practice before you go to sleep you miss out on alot.

Well done.  Seems alot of us around here are having good experiences lately!  Keep us posted and I agree that practicing during the day/when you wake up is usually the best time.

Hi Ben

Congratulations - it's brilliant isn't it?  You can't beat it!

Here's to many more...

Congrats on the excellent picture knightlight... ohh, and nice experience there Ben   .

Seriously though, when i first started out, this was my ultimate goal, especially after reading a post by mustardseed about a phasing type experience he had. My goal was to be able to come in on a cold and rainy day from school/work and spend a good 30 minutes soaking up the sun on a tropical island or maybe exploring a huge mystical forrest etc. I suppose it was escapism that first pulled me into this somewhat underground world.

As knightlight said, it seems alot of us are beginning to have more/better experiences... and maybe, just maybe i might be able to reach my goal also   . Certainly a great experience Ben and i wish you many more.

I think escapism is justified in this piece of blank world we now inhabit. Who wouldnt want the ability to do whatever you want?

Im sure you will be able to one day reach your goal. Just a matter of time. And time is nothing!

today i was sick all day. couldnt eat lunch with my relatives, and i was stuck in bed.

I did mention to get to the "astral eyes" stage, where I could see my room with my eyes closed. It was pretty cool to see because everything in my room had taken on a "Victorian" style look.

The biggest problem I now encounter is actually remembering my experiences. I didnt even remember this one until a second ago. Any tips on this? Maybe I should start a dream journal?

Dream journals help more than I can explain.  Start one now!

Good one Ben!

Yes, start keeping a dream journal, it will help you more than you can know. Keep it and a pen by your bed side and as SOON as you wake up from any kind of experience, jot it down or at least the main points RIGHT AWAY, don't be tempted to 'leave it until the morning' or later that day because nine out of ten times the memory will vanish and that's it.

Also, the very act of keeping a dream journal by your bed will encourage you to have more vivid dream recall and better experiences.

To Ben and everyone else who reads this:

What Doug says is SO DAMNED important, it's untrue.  Even now, I'll come round from some wonderful experience and think to myself, "aah, I don't need to write that down, there's NO WAY I'll forget that."  And I fall to sleep.

The morning comes.  You guessed it.  I've forgotten bits of it and it drives me round the bend!

It's so easy to think you'll remember it, but it only take a little effort to rouse yourself and write all your memories down.

Congratulations, Ben! :applause:

I agree, keeping a dream journal would be good.  I have a journal, but I'm still trying to train myself to write things down as soon as I wake up!  I can tell you I've been having some very vivid dreams/phasing experience, but I can't remember exactly what they were.  I'm getting very frustrated!  :wall:

Here's to many more phasing adventures to come!

And to me learning to keep records so I can share mine.

From the other thread about "vibrations". i think il just post any experiences i have here in this thread a sort of a journal for myself. maybe it will help others in some way. feel free to post questions etc :)

Well today i woke up, walked around a bit and decided to practice.

I got the vibes, and this time it went with it. this time they lasted only about what seemed like 5 seconds and were much less intense. I felt myself rising from my bed, but i kept my eyes closed. i knew that i went up and down that, probably about 7 ft up in the air, i could sense it.

Anyway after that I phased into several different places. One was my grandmas house AGAIN. dont know why. but this time i was outside and i was going down the sidewalk. I remember hearing my feet hit the ground as i walked it was so real.

After this scenario i found myself outside what i think was my childhood home. I remember relaxing myself and just letting my emotions calm down. when i did this the environment became MUCH more stable and i was able to walk around slowly, literally one step at a time. as i loosened my focus i would just zip places extremely fast. I remember turning my back to the house and looking around. When i looked back it had totally warped somehow. I was amazed.

I then slipped into a dream where i thought i had woken up. I then actually woke up, amazed ;)

So for anyone who gets the vibrations, just stick with it and eventually you get over them.
