I hate it when it turns out that I got what I wanted all along, but I just wasn't seeing it. Like being out-of-body and yelling, "I demand to be out of body right now!" and never figuring it out until I wake up.

I suppose I should ask for awareness instead...

Kind of an insight as to the "you are your soul" quote.  I can't say I've ever astrally flown beyond the stars to find my soul, but I can say that I've spoken many times with my oversoul in the comfort of my living room, through meditation, not projection.  When you leave your body you are no longer attached to the physical, but it sounds as though you are still exploring the physical universe in search of your higher self.  I suggest going within yourself.  Monroe spoke of an experience in which while projecting he focused his conciousness within himself.  It was similar to traveling the infinite universe, only it was in fact within his own being.  By the end of the journey he encountered infinite lights, and had conversations with many of them.  In these conversations he learned that these lights were in fact countless incarnations of himself in past lives and the experiences and knowledge that he himself attained in those lives.  You may not have the same experience, but your soul is in fact yourself, and how can you find yourself by looking outside of you?  Try focusing within.

I suppose that would be a possibility. My own personalized version of the "astral plane entrance structurea". It should make for some fun exploration, although I have no huge interest in focus 23-27.

So I'm going to be more ambitious from from on. I had a small taste of that a while ago. I want it all at once, and be it rather than see it.

Where can I read about these "focus" things. I've heard about them but what exactly are they? Some time of reading material i hope?

I so empathize with this experience...
I have repeatedly over a long period asked for information and clarification on some questions I have. And repeatedly, clearly, I have been told that "I already know!"
Well, I think that "they" (the deliverers of the messages) don't realize just how confusing this consciousness can be. I do appreciate their patience, but I am still awaiting the dawn.
