difference between Astral projecting and OBE?

Ok, someone clear things up for.

I have now had 2 OBE's and just now after a nap, I figure my 1st real Astral Projection.

the good this is, I seem to be able to have these things alot more. I guess I could say I am getting better.

I have some questions.

during my 2 OBE's, I had them in my room, in real time, I guess. I would say yes, those were Out of Body.

Now just today, I was starting to have another OBE, I felt the levitation, and just like my first 2 OBE's, I heard a family member in my room. This seems to be common for me, dont know why. This time, my grandmother said, not to scratch my feet. I really thought she was in my room, so I looked and she wasn't there. and woke up, lost the levitation feeling I am use to. At least I thought I woke up.

But I didn't OBE into my room, somehow, I ended up in the PAST in an old house I use to live  at. Awake it seemed to me, yet I said let me try to AP here, so I was eating yogurt and fell asleep in the old kitten. I then started to OBE in my old house, which seems weird, as it seems that even though I was a sleep in the here and now, I was awake in the PAST, trying to OBE there....

I then did OBE, pushing myself out and floating around. I did this 3 times. Each time longer then the last. For example, the first time I pushed myself out, it only lasted for a couple of seconds. I only made it in the room. ect. By the third time I was able to go outside and was talking to people, old friends(who I kicked out from hanging out in front of my house), family members, and my old dead dog named lady.

the weird thing? In the old living  room was all Christmas tree's. Also in my old room, I saw furniture that I totally forgot about until I saw it there.

Now one thing I dont understand is, if I was sleeping here in 2006 today, why was I in "a dream within a dream" because I was trying to have an OBE in the old house? Doesn't make sense to me. I dont know if I had a dream or AP.

Its not like my other experiences which I can say without a doubt was an OUT OF BODY EXPERIENCE. This falls into a lucid dream, but not really? more of an AP?'

whats strange is that I was taken out of the AP/dream by my grandmother waking me the old house, telling me to pick up my yogurt . I then woke up, but weirder  because I expected to wake up in my old house...

My guess would be this is a dream sequence and not a full-blown OBE. However, it sounds like it may very well be a message dream. To me, that can be as exciting as OBE because there is something in it you need to know. The hard part is finding the bits that are caused by the day's events and seeing what remains -- that remainder will be your message. Study it for emotional content as well. Sometimes that can give a hint. It sounds exciting and I hope it evoked pleasant thoughts.  :)

If you ask phasing, the difference between OBE and AP is that they're a different name for the same thing.

In the theory of phasing, which answers a lot of "Why did I see this" and 'Why did this happen" for OBE/AP, is that instead of 'moving through the physical world', you simply build an exact replica, or an altered replica, of the world in your imagination. So when you 'project', you're not really looking at light reflecting from a real object in your room, your imagination tells you that you are.

So, what this all means is that in your imagination, you pieced together memories from the past to create an appealing world to move around in. What could have happened to you, is that deep down you wanted to revisit the house in the past. Or perhaps it was a random occurance of recollected memories. Meaning you can see whatever you want, wherever you want, whenever, as long as you want to.

Of course, many people don't like this idea. They believe in more spiritual, mystical reasoning. Obviously you are not familiar with phasing, so here's a little taster for you. Nonetheless, keep a critical mind to everything you do. There may be no single answer.
As it as written, now and forever shall be. In the name of the Stevo, amen.

I just laid down today for a nap, felt the vibes and upon separation called out, "May I come out?"  (like I was calling for some assistance in getting out).  Instead, I heard my 4 year old daughter say, "Hi".  She was asleep in the next room.
