Last night I tried seriously AP'ing for the first time.

I sorta messed around, trying diff. things, and sometimes i'd try feeling like im falling out of the sky and hitting my bed so hard. When I did something like this, it would feel like some1 put one of those heart-starter shockers to the center/top of my chest and buzz me, and a big vibration would go thru my body.
I could not however repeat the feeling of falling onto my bed to get that vibration again, i'd have to think of something else.

What is this?
Save your tears for the day when our pain is far behind on your feet come with me we are soldiers stand or die
Save your fears take your place save them for the judgement day fast and free follow me time to make the sacrifice we rise or fall

Do a search on the word vibration.

That'll keep you busy!

We all find nonsenses to believe in; it's part of being alive.

"# the act of vibrating
# vibe: a distinctive emotional atmosphere; sensed intuitively; "it gave me a nostalgic vibe"; "that man gives off bad vibes"
# shaking: a shaky motion; "the shaking of his fingers as he lit his pipe"
# oscillation: (physics) a regular periodic variation in value about a mean "

yes thank you lol... but i would like to know if it holds any meaning at all? does it mean that i am going to die in 40 days? (jk of course) but seriously anything?
seems leerose wants to know too!

LOL.. die in 40 days..no. :)

It was just you feeling your energy body letting you know that you were very close to being able to get up and out.   Next time do your best to ignore the sensations and imagine yourself floating out...or rolling out..or pulling yourself out with a rope...:P  Lots of different techniques for exiting.  I found the silly crawling out of my body to work best, but that is just me.  It certainly gives one a chuckle when trying to claw away from your physical...

Hope this helps.

:)  Yeah, the rope never worked for me except once and I was so surprised when it happened I messed everything up!  I will say, it was a very strong, intense feeling.  I was just goofing around one night when it worked, or I should I say "started" to work.  :P

The crawling away came along by accident, just happened and it still works.  But of late, meaning the past few months I just seem to be able to simply "float" away.  Guess I had to work up to that.  haha. :D

Good Luck Orion, keep us updated!

the "falling and hitting your bed" could just be your body starting to drift off, then snap back.  (happens to me ALOT)

I've never experienced vibrations, or at least not remembered.  Many times in my life, though, I've felt the crashing down on my bed feeling--usually accompanied by the feeling that I've been electrocuted.  I always had a terrible fear of lightning, so those experiences always terrified me!

I too have gotten the numb, detatched feeling in my arms.  One time I was just trancing, and my left arm kept floating up of its own accord.  I thought it might have been my "astral" arm, but it was just my physical arm.  I guess maybe my astral body was trying to shake it off, but I've never gotten out of my body, at least not consciously.

All my (few) successes with astral projection have been in the area of phasing.  Which is nice, because, at least for me, it involves none of the scary vibrations, noises, feelings of electrocution, etc.  Or the frustration of trying to shake off the physical body.
