Hello all, newcomer here. First I'd like to acknowledge my gratitude for the plethora of information on this forum and thank you all for sharing experiences which have guided me to my first astral projection.

So I started trying to project just about every day for the past couple weeks. Usually before I go to sleep at night I would practice; or even sometimes during a mid-day nap. I would get close, feeling my body go numb, hearing and feeling vibrations, creating visualizations hoping to spring out of my body. But usually the result would be falling asleep. I was okay with this, I understand it's a process.

However, a couple nights ago it actually worked! I fell asleep on the couch and woke up around 3AM to get in my bed. I figured "hey, might as well try to project". I lay down on my back and go into my usual routine. First focusing on my breathing until my body is completely numb, then embracing the vibrations and creating visualizations. Next thing I know, everything got really bright! It was a goldish/white light and I thought to myself now is the time to project! As soon as I had that thought I popped out of my body (easier than I expected) and out of excitement I flew/jumped into the hallway leading to my bedroom. It kind of creeped me out so I thought that I wanted to go back, and poof, I was back in my body. I continued to think "hey, that wasn't that bad. Let's try again". I popped out of my body again with ease. This time I hovered over my bed and just looked at myself laying there in amazement. Everything was happening so fast and I was overwhelmed with amazement that the projection didn't last very long. I popped back into my body and fell asleep. The next morning it felt very hazy, almost unreal, like it was a dream and didn't actually happen...

I am happy to have finally experienced astral projection. Even though it was a very short experience, now I know what phasing feels like and I think it'll make it that much easier the next time. I hope the next time I project there is more clarity and that it will last long enough for me to actually do something cool!

I will continue reading all of the experiences you all have to share and continue to share my experiences as I have them. Thanks for reading my experience! I will appreciate any comments you all have in regards to my experience and progressing within the astral plane.

Cheers, bobby  :-D

Welcome to the Pulse Bobby.
Your post took me back in time, I too remembered this golden light illuminating the room. It's posted on here somewhere, but waiting patiently for this light was the only requirement needed for a very smooth exit.
