Hi everyone.
A few nights ago I was fortunate enough to have an OBE. As you'll see it wasn't exactly a RTZ projection although the location Did resemble the local area. As usual feel free to post a comment, a question or a  suggestion.

Out Of Body Experience
"City Flight" (# 88)

Wednesday, October 28, 2009
It began when I woke up already out of body and outside the house. The location was vaguely familiar - an ethereal counterpart of this area. It was not the Real Time Zone (RTZ), however, as there were definate and obvious differences in the layout of the neighborhood including most of the buildings.
This OBE was all about flight. I immediately felt a strong desire to get airborne. After a couple of tries I managed to float up off a sidewalk into the air. There then followed a very long flight, mostly over streets and between buildings.. I soon realized that power lines were a possible obstruction to flight and so flew up higher, going up to about 200 feet.
In addition to the differences in the layout of the various buildings in the area it was also bright daylight when it was actually between 2AM and 4AM. Many people were out on the streets. A few could even be seen flying about. I now assume that nearly all of those people were discarnate, either OOB or dreaming.
I headed north toward the river, having a vague uneasy feeling that someone was following and that I had to get out of the city. Obstacles to flight began to materialize in midair - overhanging roofs up where no structures should have been. All of these constructs were only mental obstacles yet they still greatly hindered flying. Eventually I  was forced to land of the roof of an apartment building (in Stanton Heights or Lawrenceville). Then I was nearly trapped inside the building in a woman's apartment. After I got outside again by going through an open window the OBE unexpectedly ended and directly became a fantastic epic dream.
OBE #88 Notes. Time was between 2 AM and 4 AM. Duration was 20 to 30 minutes (followed by the dream which lasted over an hour). Unsure which side I lay on.
Locale I-BST, a familiar location. There were unfamiliar persons about, mostly discarnates (with perhaps 1 or 2 physical people as well(?)). Deliberate (passive),  Affirmations (before sleep), Emotional, Floated, Flight, Energy (pranayama), Barriers, Meditation, OBE ended in a Dream, Travel-teleport.

Thanx to you who read this. I am going to post the dream in the Dream Forum here at AstralPulse.

Hi Grey, I enjoyed reading about your experience. I always love to read other people's OBE's, to see the differences and similarities compared to my own OBE's. And ofcourse to read about the adventures that others have.  :-)

Thanx for your reply Timandra. I gather from your post that you have had several (or more) OBEs. Have you posted any of those experiences here at AstralPulse? I'm very interested to read some of them.

Yes, I have had 12 OBE's since August 22, and 3 phasings. I have posted 2 OBE's and one phasing. I know now that I have had many more OBE's, but because I just remembered them in the morning, I have always thought they were dreams. Here are the ones I posted, thank you for your interest.  :-)

Thanx for the linx.
Regarding remembering experiences after awakening. It might help to start a journal. Write down remembered dreams and any other experiences upon waking up. I do that and it seems to facilitate recall right after sleep.

Hi Grey, I started a journal for my dreams in 1995. Stopped from 2002 until 2006 and started again in 2006 (don't remember why I stopped all those years). I do write everything down, it indeed helps to improve your recall.  :-)

Timandra, hi
Regarding your dream journal -
QuoteHi Grey, I started a journal for my dreams in 1995. Stopped from 2002 until 2006 and started again in 2006 (don't remember why I stopped all those years). I do write everything down, it indeed helps to improve your recall.

Yeah, I know exactly what you mean. I started a dream journal in 1987, quit it in 1989 and began it again in 1993. Then about 3 or 4 years I quit again. Now I only write a 2 or 3 sentence thumbnail note of each dream. I found that writing 2 or 3 paragraphs for each dream was too time consuming. I do fully record each of my OBEs though.
